A very nice setting with eye doctors that truly care. He actually remembers your name and offers honesty instead of information to push you into buying something. The staff is very professional, nice and efficient.The parking is free but limited. There are about six chairs in the waiting area. They accept most insurances which is great. Today I had an urgent need to get my mothers eyeglasses fixed and Collin Creek came to the rescue, I didnt have an appointment and just walked in hoping they could help. My daughter complain about headache and it was scary to take her to any place during the COVID. I took her to Dr. Pattani and was really greatful to him. First they had all the necessary precautions for the COVID, staff was very nice and helpful and the best part is the doctor itself. He is too good. We actually used our benefits 2 days ago, rushing not to lose the benefits as it was the end of the year literally.. we just moved so we didn't have a set provider. We went to a private practice older doctor. Not real concerned with anything I'm telling him. Knowing I'm Diabetic I have to additional exams that are covered thru medical and can be a lil costly. I informed them that I only wanted to do my basic vision then schedule the other exams after the 1st (which was the next day) so that I could use my FSA that would be available. 1st I was told he won't do a split visit. Then when I talked to him first it was FSA isn't replenished on the 1st it's later in the year. 1 I've only worked in insurance for the last oh 10+ years. 2 I'm very aware of how MY insurance plan works. So after that argument it was like it would make more sense to come back and do the exams you need later in that case. At this point I'm over it. Then with my husband he changed his RX to a lower rx when my husbands eyes are worse and took him out of a brand of contacts that we had no issues or complaints after telling him switching before caused a painful unlcer. Then they literally gv him a pair of contacts in the waiting room said here try these hv a good day and pushed us out the door didn't try on or check him to see fit .. needless to say he has dealt with migraines and dry eyes and blurred vision with contacts for 2 days.. oh and when I asked for a lasik consult the main reason I chose this place he looked annoyed said it's 4000 dollars and threw a hand up as if I couldn't afford it and walked out.. basically felt bc I didn't want to pay out of pocket and use my FSA ( which is still paid for by me ) I was treated differently and race played a factor too.. Fast forward to today.. woke up found an immediate appt for The both of us and paid $350 for two exams and my diabetic exams!! Dr very nice and professional read more

The doctor and assistant were very nice, however... They are holding contact fitting "hostage" unless I bought contacts from them. Now I have to pay for another eye appointment out of pocket at a clinic that will allow me to be a savvy consumer and purchase my prescription at the best price. They told me it was because they wanted me to come back and have my eyes re-checked. Call me crazy, but purchasing my contacts from them has absolutely nothing to do with whether or not I actually show up for my follow up. My new contacts are VERY expensive due to the prescription - I have a right to get the fairest price and it they will not allow me to do that, I will take my eyeglass prescription (which is all that they would give me) and get my contact fitting elsewhere as their glasses selection is VERY small as well so even if I did choose glasses, I would not get them there. read more

I popped the lens out of my glasses and because it chipped the glass Walmart vision said they could not put it back in. Walmart recommend that I try Collin Creek eye clinic. They put my lens back in and only charged $10. Very happy read more

I was referred to Collin Creek eye clinic to get my glasses fixed my arm had come apart from my glasses ......within a month the arm popped out of place again as i was just taking them off my face. Not pushy yet recommended the best coating for my lenses that was even covered by my insurance. They also do repairs to glasses so they always try to fix before and don't upsell! I am a small optical in Pflugerville, Texas that needed a repair on a titanium frame. No one in my area does this. It was an emergency, as I did not have a frame to replace it. I found this company searching on google. I called first about the repair needed. I sent it up and it was returned just over a week later. Repair is very nicely done and a resonable cost. His office staff is also excellent and went out of their way to explain my insurance coverage even though I was already familiar with it. Dr Samir Pattni discriminates against the customers who choose not to wear masks. I very clearly told Dr. Samir Pattini in my first visit that I can't wear masks, & that I shouldn't have to explain to him my reasons why. He responded that "his staff kept getting sick" and that he "was wearing a mask for me". I told him I am not sick, otherwise I'd have stayed home, & that he didn't need to worry about me. He got very upset and asked me to leave, and to please reschedule for a time when he had no patients. I had already set aside my whole morning for this appointment and felt it is unnecessary to drive back home for nothing and drive back again. I understand that some people fear contracting viruses and getting sick, but what this facility and outside businesses don't realize is that they cannot force Americans to wear medical devices ON THEIR FACES on their faces, especially if these customers like myself tell them that we can't, don't or won't. INVOLUNTARY MASKING IS UNLAWFUL under well established legal principles. In addition, these masks fear mongering policies restrict breathing. They are ineffective in many ways as surgeon infections numbers show. This business denied me services for not complying with wearing a medical device against my will and better judgment. If the owner is reading this and wants me to update the review, they can contact me. For now, I'll be going to another business that does not ask me to adhere to arbitrary medical requirements. read more

I had the right hinge soldered, and from the start it was soldered too far away, so the right ear piece would open too far, and the glasses would have trouble staying on my face. Last Saturday afternoon, the solder failed and it was 5 days after their 30 day warrantee ended, and they said there was nothing they can do without charging another $35. In my opinion, it is better to just get another pair of glasses. read more

Came in 30 minutes before closing and asked if they could put my lenses in another frame as mine had just broken. The girl at the front looked at it and offered to repair my frame while I waited. She returned it after 20 minutes and I couldnt even tell where it was fixed ! I definately recommend them for their honesty and how they can fix glasses. I took a pair of glasses there to have the ear pieces replaced, because my current ones had rough edges and pulled out my hair every time I took them off. They charged me $10 to replace the ear pieces, but they didn't fix the problem at all. The "new" ear pieces were just as bad as the old ones. And the staff didn't seem interested in helping at all. I would certainly not take any glasses here to be repaired. read more

We got extremely poor customer service at this place today. They fixed my son's glasses very poorly. The temple was a complete mismatch, ugly, different color, crooked and badly attached to the frame. When I complained, the staff showed lot of attitude. They did not accept the problem and asked for more money to fix the problem. I was in such an awkward position. The frame was ruined and since I was supposed to be traveling the next day, I could not take it anywhere else. I asked them to fix it in the same price. The lady at the front desk left without saying a word. Half and hour later another one came back with the frame fixed but insisted on charging me more. When I refused to pay they accused me of stealing. Then Mr. Samir came and he said I had to pay the amount. Incidentally, the amount he said was the lower amount that I was initially quoted. At this, I said I was willing to pay this amount but I was being asked for more. At this every one started babbling. One person said that I had to pay more because I waited fror the job to get done (what...you made me wait). Another one said, they had to apply heat so I had to pay more. I was extremely frustrated. I paid the amount and left. They refused to give me a warranty and a receipt. I guessed someone saved on their taxes today. I am very very disappointed by the attitude of the employees. I will never step in this shop again. Its ok to be expensive but lies and cheating is really not acceptable in a business. read more

OMG!!!!!! I totally agree with CrystalC.............................This is almost the exact thing that happened to me. I refused to purchase contacts through them and the dr got pissed. So I was charged extra which I paid for myself and my daughter. They would not give me my prescription at the time saying there was a problem w/ my insurance plan. They were suppose to mail or fax the prescription the next day but did not. I called just for them to tell me that I had to pay more money. Before I left that day I paid $160 when I went to pick my daughters prescription up I had to pay another $70. I paid that because my daughter was going to school the following week. When I took it to Walmart to have it filled the rep said that the numbers doesn't pertain to the numbers need for contacts. So he called they made excuses said the dr was on lunch and would call back when he returned mind you he had a 3 day lunch. I finally called again and told them I paid so I need the correct prescription so the rep from Walmart called back and the gave him numbers over the telephone. Now when I went to pick my prescription up they charged me $80 saying they gave my daughter a discount. WTH??????? I paid because I am holding on to my last pair of contacts. When I took my prescription to Walmart the same guy said the exact same thing the numbers did not make any since. He called and had to leave several messages and still to this day I am waiting. In between I have called my insurance company and they said I have to send a grience letter explaining everything. Before I pay another penny to these crooks I will file a law suit and if the insurance company do not correct this a law suit will be filed from me. Everyone in the office including Pattni ( I will not give him the respect of calling him a dr), Emily, Rosie, Rebecca and the man. All of them were rude and protecting Pattni knowing he was wrong....DO NOT TRUST THE COLLIN CREEK EYE CLINIC.....PLEASE BE AWARE....after the first visit there was no professionism, accommodation or customer service.
