I am always skeptical by dentist that tell you that you need work done or want to do unnecessary work on your teeth. They are NOT like that. They are honest and really care about you as an individual not just a number. I drive from Plano to see Rachel (hygienist). Do yourself a favor and bring your teeth to her. It's like taking your teeth to the spa. One of the best compliments came from a staff member. After I commented on how kind the doctor was, she said, "He treats us just as well as he treats his patients. That's just who he is." It obviously wasn't, and I was asked to pay $46.11 which I was told was a COPAY - which makes no sense because that it not an amount that a copay would be, and my plan is NOT a copay plan for bi-annual exams / x-rays and I have full coverage for these services. They then told me that they confirmed that x-rays would be covered at 100%, but they billed for a "photographic image" which the insurance denied. The insurance also denied a BS $114 charge for "ORAL HYGIENE INSTRUCTIONS" -- I don't know what kind of game this office is playing, but it's created a great deal of hassle and stress for our family.

Of course, I filled out the patient info beforehand on my phone. I got to meet Dr Ralph and an assistant Katy before my checkup to help lower my dental anxiety. I was so confused for so many reasons and definitely too many to list here but ask yourself why is there not a real dental hygienist for this? I was also supposed to get a "free" night guard for a referral which silly me should have definitely known better. Well the night guard is worse than the ones you buy from the pharmacy. It did not protect my teeth and was thinner than an Invisalign. My new very qualified, honest dentist laughed when I showed her. Do not believe the hype, they mislead people to write good reviews. I was so one of those people.
