I've overheard dental hygienist conversations guiding patients on things like hydration and electrolytes, preventing teeth discoloration, and even thoughtful education destigmatizing cold sores with younger patients. It feels like a healthcare environment, not just a transactional appointment. And most importantly -- the work itself is exceptional. I had an appointment reminder and I texted back that I needed to reschedule and they texted back that I had to call for that. I decided against it so I just decided to keep the appointment. I show up and they said they canceled my appointment... They did not inform me of the cancellation. So I drove an hour to get there to also not be seen... done with them.

Then (even though I had an appointment with Dr Chang) I was switched to an Indian Dr, who had substandard equipment in the same office. She inspected my teeth (after my cleaning) and then proceeded to insert 2 hands to stretch my mouth out. (Never in my many decades of seeing dentists has this been a protocol) She said it was to inspect my gums. That was my first and last appointment with her and Waterview dentistry . I asked when Dr. Chang would be in and they were very vague about it, saying he comes in and they don't know when he will be in the office. I did my research into highly rated dentists.
