    First time car buyer over here and I didn't even lift a finger, except when signing for my new car! Dorian was referred to me by a family member and their kudos on this guy did not disappoint. He took care of everything and he was upfront and honest about the costs, time, and delivery. You are allowed to be picky here and not feel bad for it.     Buying a new car is not only painful, but with the current semiconductor shortage, a very costly one, too. I was faced with a $20,000+ over list price for a new Audi e Tron GT until I engaged Dorian from Open Road Auto Concierge. He quickly came up with two dealer options, essentially pitting them against each other, with the commitment they would both sell my custom selection at MSRP. Sounds impossible, huh? Not only did he deliver on that huge savings, he sold my 8-year old Audi for $1,000 more than I could negotiate. I am an investor at heart. We were told that we can order through pictures/details, may have to wait about 4-6 months to get what we want, and get charged fees of $15K-$20K above retail price......inflation at it's best! I guess because this particular van is in high demand and there's not enough inventory. According to the dealerships, people would pay this inflation price and more......NOT me! We sort of gave up hope on owning a Toyota Sienna, BUT our amazing State Farm agent, Ray Gonzalez, referred us to an Auto Broker named Phillip Thackoorie (he goes by "Phil"). Phil's job is to locate any vehicle(s) his clients' request for, while working within their budget. After one day, Phil called us and we were able to meet him in person, giving him a detailed description of what type of Toyota Sienna we wanted. He worked hard and stayed in contact regularly which we really appreciated, informing us of all the Toyota Sienna's that he saw at auctions. After 6-7 weeks, we came home with our new van (2024 Toyota Sienna, Hybrid, Woodland Edition fully loaded with only 4K mileage and certified pre-owned under full warranty). Another reason why we love working with Phil is because he is very attentive, friendly, funny, honest, humble, and transparent to his clients. He strives to make our "car buying" experience as easy as possible. Phil took care of the DMV registration for us and we were able to get a loan immediately with our Credit Union with Phil's guidance. We highly recommend Phil if you are looking to buy a car (new or used) because he will do everything he can to deliver what you want. THANKS PHIL!!! We LOVE our new family car!!!

    Buyer Beware: This Dealership Operates With ZERO Integrity…read moreAfter nearly two weeks of discussions with Branden, Liam, and John of STA Auto Group (Thousand Oaks and Ventura locations) regarding a specific vehicle, Branden scheduled an in-person appointment for my wife and me at their Thousand Oaks dealership. They knew in advance we were driving from Orange County - over two hours each way. Upon arrival, we inspected and test-drove the vehicle and made it clear to our salesperson, Johnny, that we wanted the car and were ready cash buyers. While seated at Johnny's desk asking reasonable questions about scratches that were not disclosed or shown in the photos previously provided, another couple - who had a later "appointment" for the same vehicle - was waiting nearby. The moment we raised these legitimate concerns, Johnny abruptly took the other couple into a back room, completed a sale with them, and returned to tell us, without explanation, "Sorry, the car is sold." No transparency. No professionalism. No integrity. In my opinion, this conduct was deliberately misleading and deeply unethical. The dismissive, unapologetic attitude that followed only reinforced the impression that honesty and customer respect are not priorities here. STA Auto Group wasted our time and treated us as disposable the moment we asked questions. There are plenty of used car dealerships in Southern California. This is not one I would ever recommend to anyone who values transparency, fairness, or basic respect.

Well, I found this place, and they fixed my Fiat at no cost since it's still very new and under warranty, but the best part is that I felt like I was treated very well. I had only all good interactions with everyone there. My first experience was the sales guys who wanted to buy my car, told me they were looking to purchase a car like mine that's relatively new with under 16K miles. Lightly used, looks amazing, but I couldn't bite the deal, since I had paid cash for my car, and had no payments, so any deal they could come up with, and some were pretty sweet deals, just weren't enough to sway me into getting into another $400 a month lease or purchase. But, they were exceptionally nice, and didn't push too hard, even though when they brought out that brand new Jeep, I kinda drooled a little. Haha The girls in the office were all so nice to me and we had great conversations. They were amazing. I'm that kind of customer that loves to interact, so when I approached them and asked them how come they weren't mechanics, their response made me smile and shake my head. I loved it though, they said what young girls say "We're too beautiful to be mechanics." That's when I busted out photos of my exceptionally beautiful daughter who worked as an Aircraft mechanic at age 22 making over $40 per hour. I was like "Girls, you're never too beautiful to get paid a lot of money as a mechanic." I then encouraged them to pursue anything they desire. I hope one day to run into one of them again. The guy I interacted with there at the dealership was Rick. I am thrilled to say that he was an amazing person to meet and work with. He was so kind about my car, and reassured me that the only major problem was that my battery needed to be replaced. And, to top it off it was all covered under the warranty. Also, they worked on the recall and that too was covered. He informed me that the only thing they couldn't do was the car wash, that was okay though because he told me if I take my receipt showing my car was worked on over to the gas station off of Victoria and Valentine road that I'd get a complementary car was from that gas station there. That was so nice to hear! Rick was very personable. I was so worried because I had bad experiences at the dealership in Santa Barbara. I read all these reviews here and thought wow, people really didn't give that great of reviews. I wanted to be fully honest about my experience, and give details so that I didn't miss anything. Oh! The mechanics accidentally left a really nice portable battery charger in the back of my car. Rick called me to ask if it was there and I got his voice mail, so I called him back and let him know it was. They're going to arrange to come to me to pick it up, rather than me having to take time off to go back to the dealership. That was amazing to me too. Overall, my experience here has made me feel that I can trust them, and that they're all wonderful people, managers, sales staff and the whole team, I had nothing but the best experience. So good that I would definitely consider buying my first Jeep from them. It's a future purchase I am sure. I like fun cars. This is why I own two silly little Fiats. They're cute, they're quirky, and fun. The only drawback to owning a Fiat, is being able to find people to work on them. So, if you have a Fiat, please take it here. Don't waste your time going to Santa Barbara, if you don't want to do that drive. I'm not really trying to talk bad about Santa Barbara's Crown Dodge, to be fair, I keep trying to love them, I really do, because I want a good relationship with whoever works on my car... I truly do. I like when companies make you feel like family. Shameless plug: Williams Automotive in Ventura is absolutely the best but he doesn't work on Fiats - Dang it! Please don't take my post down... honestly you gotta love a good local honest mechanic like Scott at Williams. But this dealership is legit, hell of a lot better than most dealerships I have been to when it comes to customer service. And, they work on Fiats, so there's that too. I'm telling all my friends who own Fiats to stop driving to Santa Monica and Santa Barbara. And, the Thousand Oaks dealership stopped working on Fiats, which to me breaks my heart they were so so so good there too. Anyways, yeah, enough about Fiats. This team is great. And, EXTRA KUDOS to Rick, and the girls at the front desk, wish I could remember their names, they're beautiful inside and out! They even told me I was beautiful... which was so dang kind. That brightened my day! P.S. Go check out the painting on the wall there of under the Ventura Pier, it's pretty beautiful! I think they said it was a giant sticker but it looks like a painting to me. Even though I had accepted the vehicle "As Is", Crown worked with me to repair the vehicle and charge me less than 50% of the costs required to get it repaired and back on the road These people are both ethical and customer service oriented.
