I'm going to start this review by saying that at first...this experience was far less than desirable. Originally we had a sales guy named "Chris" I believe. I found the Charger I wanted online and called the night before to make sure it was still there and arranged a time to come out the next day. Chris even texted me the next morning to confirm my appointment. When I arrived the car was up front waiting and it was FILTHY. Not like a little bit dirty but completely covered and caked in dust and dirt. When I tried to test drive it I could barely see out the windows it was so dirty. (I swear - that gross) Because this was such a turn off I wanted to see the other Chargers they had for sale there and he showed me the 4 that were right in front of the showroom. I asked if there were others and he said no, that was all of them. Which was weird because online there were a TON! (Come to find out later they had rows of them out on the lot that for whatever reason he chose not to show me) So, we go inside and quickly realize Chris is no match for my boyfriend who starts asking all kinds of questions about price and other specifics. Well, in comes Darren...thank God! (This is where the entire experience shifted and why they earned 5 stars rather than 1.) Darren is the Online Sales Manager and he couldn't have been more friendly and accommodating. He was willing to do whatever to earn our business and I've got to say that my boyfriend and I were both very impressed with not only his savvy but his honesty at the same time. He got me every single possible rebate in the book! ($4,500 worth or something crazy like that!!!) Although he was able to meet me at the price I was comfortable with I was honest with him and told him I wasn't sure I wanted to spend my hard earned money on that filthy car out there that looked like someone stole it from a salvage yard in the Mojave Desert. He asked if we could give him a few minutes and he would be right back. Well, evidently there was no one in the back to wash the vehicles so he went out there and washed it himself! Next thing I know he's driving up with a sweaty brow in this beautiful, sparkly, new Charger! I'm a total pain and I told him I still wanted time to think about it so he checked with the GM and they let us take the car to go grab some lunch. With it nice and clean I could actually enjoy driving it! Why didn't the first guy do this???? So, long story...I guess longer (LOL), he was able to get to my price which was WAY lower than the exact car I had seen the day before out at Dependable Dodge where they wouldn't work with me AT ALL and were very rude. Anyway, go to Crown and ask for Darren the Internet Sales Manager. He is THE MAN!!!! read more

So I had been in the market for a new pick up truck for a couple of months now .. I honestly wasn't even thinking of anything too big, too fancy or even too expensive, mainly something just as a secondary vehicle to have available if ever I needed to use a pick up truck to haul away anything or simply to load up the bicycles for the afternoon and hit the park. The more I started to look into what was actually available in the truck market the more and more I kept on leaning more towards a Dodge Ram. Ive had a few pick up trucks in the past and specially loved my old 2006 Dodge Dakota. Ultimately the more I looked the more i was completely drawn in by the new 2021 Dodge Ram 1500 Warlock edition. I fell in love with the truck design, features and all the the extra perks of driving this new classic 1500 Warlock series. Honestly I wasn't too pressed to get it immediately and felt I could keep looking for the best deal. At the end of day I was pretty much over the searching process, used ones were too high in mileage or just as expensive as new ones it seemed. Ultimately I came across CROWN DODGE JEEP RAM AND COMPLETELY FELL IN LOVE WITH THEIR 2021 WARLOCK NIGHT SERIES TRUCKS THEY HAD IN STOCK!! Starting at about 31K PLUS TAX AND FEES !! THEY HAD MY ATTENTION. Unfortunately I was about 120 miles away and work 6 days a week. I almost gave up on the thought of going. Finally I received a call or email from Aaron at Crown, I can't remember which it was but all I know is I began to get more information from Aaron, thought I was a bit difficult to cater to and to follow up with Aaron didn't give up and remained extremely professiona. He followed up with me for about 2 weeks before I finally agreed to come down. Eventually I agreed to go on a Sunday, since it was literally my only day off that week. Long story short I ended up showing up hours later than the time I originally agreed on and even missed Aaron who I was supposed to speak with. Showing up at a 1/4 to 6pm on Sunday and 120 miles from home Jerry stepped in for Aaron and completely made me feel At home with an extremely welcoming and professional attitude Jerry in collaboration with Aaron and eventually Bob in the finance department gave me the best possible dealership experience I've had in a long time. Needless to say I was sold and was able to drive off the lot that night in my BRAND NEW DODGE RAM 1500 HEMI WARLOCK SERIES NIGHT EDITION ... (Ps yes I went for the Hemi) literally the best 120 mile ride back home and it's all thanks to AARON, JERRY, BOB AND THE WHOLE CROWN DODGE JEEP RAM FAMILY!! Dear Crown Dodge Management, I hope this letter finds you well. I am writing to express my disappointment and frustration with the service I received during my recent visit to your dealership, specifically in connection with the attempted purchase of a Toyota Fj Cruiser. On 12/4/23, I had a scheduled appointment at noon to view and purchase the aforementioned vehicle. I had clearly communicated the challenges I faced in taking time off from work, emphasizing the importance of a timely and efficient process during our phone conversation. Despite this, the experience I had at Crown Dodge Ventura, particularly with salesperson was far from satisfactory. Upon my arrival, I was pleased to find the car in great condition (Car was Open) , and the pricing, including an online discount, seemed reasonable. However, my excitement quickly turned into frustration when, after waiting for 25 minutes, I was informed by Mr. Schweider that the keys to the vehicle were allegedly lost. This unexpected development wasted valuable hours of my PTO time and fuel, as I am in Goleta the car was in Ventura. Mr. Schweider assured me that new keys would be made the following day, and I could complete the purchase and pick up the car at your Santa Barbara location. Although this solution seemed reasonable, I was shocked to learn the next day that the car had been sold the same day I was there (without the keys?). Upon investigating the matter further, I discovered that the keys were not lost as Mr. Schweider claimed. A member of your staff who happens to be a friend of a friend informed me that the salesperson's actions were questionable and lacking in transparency. The motives behind Mr. Schweider's conduct remain unclear, but I am left to speculate whether it was driven by commission, dissatisfaction with the pricing, or some other personal undisclosed reason. I find Mr. Schweider's actions to be manipulative and deceptive, and I am deeply disappointed by the lack of professionalism displayed throughout this process. While I cannot speak to the overall reputation of Crown Dodge, I believe it is crucial for management to be aware of the unethical behavior exhibited by one of its employees, especially considering Mr. Schweider's apparent position as a sales manager. As a result of this experience, for now, I have chosen to take my business elsewhere. I hope that you will take the necessary steps to address this issue and ensure that such unscrupulous conduct is not tolerated within your dealership. Thank you for your attention to this matter. Just when I thought this whole experience couldn't get worse, it did. A day after posting my review (see below), Luis Ramos responded to my experience, claiming someone would call me to address my concerns. However, when the call came, it had nothing to do with my issue. It was to tell me that they had miscalculated my deal and that I owed them $500. Although wholly shocked, I asked that copies of the transaction be emailed to verify this is correct and, if owed, would be paid. Simple, right? Not with this place. Not only did I not get my documentation, but they charged the credit they had on file without permission. Even after a follow-up call with Johnny, I have yet to receive my documentation. Buyer beware! This dealership sells only defective vehicles and offers the worst buying experience ever! I purchased a 2023 Ram Limited from Andre, which had multiple defects. Despite my requests for cleaning and inspection, the truck had three paint defects: one on the tailgate, one on the passenger front door, and another on the rear driver-side door. The radio was also malfunctioning, and the adjustable pedals were not working. When I asked Andre about swapping the truck out for another one or giving my old one back, he did not take either option seriously. I visited the dealership twice, spending six hours each time, and they offered to repaint the sections with defects and fix the radio (the pedals were fixed). However, this was unsatisfactory since the truck was brand new. After several days of waiting, I emailed the sales manager, Jordan, but received no response. I then emailed Dan Wallis, the Chief Officer of Operations, who attempted to call me back, but I could not return his call as the line just rang, and I could not leave a message. I followed up with another email but am still waiting for his call. The truck was eventually painted after a few weeks, but the interior needed to be more detailed. The radio was reprogrammed and worked fine initially, but it is acting up again. Recently, I discovered that the leather on the dashboard and one of the doors is wrinkling. I plan to contact Ram next. Dan, I waited years for an opportunity to own a Limited, but your team's lack of support ruined it for me. Your lack of engagement makes me question your organization's culture because your team's attitude toward my situation reflects leadership, which is apparent there is none. read more

Best selection and deals around. Got my new 2017 challenger R/T very pleased with the service just had a small complication which they fixed and gave me a better deal for the inconveniences. Would highly recommend coming by to purchase a vehicle. I will update my review once I have it serviced by their Service Department. Got my first oil change on 9/18/17 they did everything that was needed but noticed a 2 scratch's near my shifter/ console. Left a survey for them about that issue I got contacted couple days later asking me to go in so they can get that replaced in exchange I would change my survey for something positive. Next following day I go in they get my information and part number, they said they will contact me one week later. It's been 4 weeks and still no call or sign of that part. I called left a couple of voicemails nothing. I finally get a call back a week later i told them Im basically still waiting for that replacement part. They had no idea what I was talking about even tho they were the one that called me and had me set up for the new part exchange, till it finally remembered. I was told they'll call me back the next day it's been a week that passed by and nothing. Not really happy about this still going to try and get this sorted out. After calling and leaving voicemails they finally reached out to me and told me that the parts department didn't order my trim for replacement. They had me go in again to get my part number and vehicle Information which I was okay with they even had a parts member come out and check it out. They ordered everything got it within 2 days. Went in to replace the piece. 1.30 hours later I get my vehicle back was happy they finally replaced the part. Overall experience was an up and down but I'm glad I got what was promised after making some calls. Just not so happy took to long. I'll still be doing my business here and will update review/ leave new ones. 4/18/19 Went in for an oil change everything went well. Except the fact they changed my email address with out my permission or with out letting me know. I didn't authorize this what's so ever. Maybe they didn't like it that I left a bad survey for them after messing up my car! I will no longer do business with them what's so ever. It is sad to see so manny bad reviews from this dealership. I have purchased lots of cars in my life and I know when a dealership has good service or not. My wife and I went to Dodge Crown today just to "look" at the Jeep Wrangler Sport, a true 4x4. Again, our intentions at this point was just to "look". After walking to the Jeep area, Sam, a sales person approach us with confidence but also very timid. (Not your normal CAR sales person) he offered us to take the Jeep to a test drive which we decided to do. After the test drive, I told Sam we were just looking and we would come back in couple of years. Essentially we walked away without being pushed to do anything. He did mention the normal car sales hook "do u guys want to see numbers" I declined his offer, thank him for his time and walked away. While in the car, my wife jumped the gun and told me that she does wanted to "see those numbers" after all. We went back to see the Jeep's and asked someone that we were looking for Sam. This guy, the assistant Manager, Jordan, told me that he would take care of us. After couple of minutes and long negotiations. We walked away with a beautiful 2015 Jeep Wrangler Sport. The process was easy, long but good. The financing guy, Joe, was great, professional and not pushing us to buy extras, like: GAP, LowJack, Paint Protectors etc. He was just great. The only downfall about this is that when you buy a new car from Dodge Crown, they do not fill up your gas tank, and only give you half. According to Jordan, is dealer's policy's. That dis not made me really happy, as a customer that is buying an almost $40k car that is supposed to be their top lineup, I deserve my gas tank to filled up in total like other dealerships are doing. Other than that, Sam was great. People at dealerships should be more like him. Not pushing customers to buy a car and just let the customers be. If they got timw out of their busy schedule to drive to a dealer, the intentions are to buy the same day, or maybe on a near future, but they will BUY! I just picked up my 2006 DODGE MAGNUM from your Service Department. A inconsistent issue started about a week ago. What was happening, was the "check engine" light would come on RIGHT AFTER I started the car, and you could feel the engine was missing a ignition on one or more of the cylinders. What drove me crazy (and your technician) was it would NOT happen ALL the time! I could start it in the morning, and it ran fine, and no "check engine" light did NOT come on, and then, if I turned off the car where I was going, and then start it, the problem would re-occur. It drove me crazy! I ALWAYS take the Magnum to you guys since I purchased it in 2006, and have ALWAYS been happy with the results. So, I dropped it off with CLIFF GARNETT, and he verified CYLINDER #1 was not firing all the time! So I left it with Cliff, and he found out the INJECTOR at CYLINDER #1 was not firing consistently, and you replaced the INJECTOR. As I had stated earlier, it did not occur ALL the time, and it was driving your technician crazy too! Cliff would call daily and asked ME to be patient...I felt bad for you technician..because it would fire and they would test drive it, and then later it would not. I cannot imagine how frustrating it must have been for you guys. Thank YOU for being patient, and finding/correcting the problem. Now I have a NEW injector, and my "baby" runs like it did when I bought it so many years ago! I LOVE MY MAGNUM! It has been the most reliable vehicle I have owned, and I have owned many cars in the past. I just wanted to THANK YOU (especially Cliff) for being informative through it all..and being so patient with me! I am so thankful you guys take such good care of my MAGNUM when ever (I can count on one hand) I have had to have something done. THANK YOU again, and keep up the good work! p.s. All the bad reviews are true, and after many incredibly negative experiences here over the years, I thought I would finally share mine. I first brought my vehicle in here for some minor repairs and after paying a ridiculously high price for them, I got back in my car and noticed a squeaking sound I'd never heard before. I should have immediately brought it back but since they had already had it for almost a week I kind of needed to have it back. So over the next few months, the squeaking grows to the point of being unbearable and even being unable to take phone calls as it was so loud. That all being the case I decided to bring it back in. The service technician tells me he will take a look at it and get back to me. Has me sign a paper that I assume is just like a liability waiver, didn't notice any amount on it at that time. Then I don't hear back from them for almost a week, so I start calling. After an entire day of trying to get some answers, they tell me they did a full inspection (which I never asked for) and found a ton of issues, and the total would come to well over $1,000. I told them at that point that I would be picking up my vehicle as they have screwed me over way too many times. The last time they quoted over $1,000 for something that I later had repaired for a mere $60 at another, more reputable business. Then they informed me that I need to pay them $170 for the "inspection" I did not ask for and that they would be holding my car until I was able to pay it. The service manager, Mike, when I finally reached him was instantly hostile and refused to help me or even acknowledge that I was in a tough situation having work the next day and no vehicle to get there. Ended the call laughing at me actually. Seriously, do yourself a favor and drive to the next town over if you are considering buying a car here. They might seem nice in sales, but that will wear off the second you buy. And whatever you do STAY AWAY from service. Absolutely abysmal customer service. read more

Went to Crown after seeing a Wrangler in stock we were interested in and receiving a trade in quote from their web page. Called before hand as we were coming from an hour and a half away to make sure it was still available. The sales lady (Maria Perez) personally checked that it was still on the lot, which I appreciated. She then mentioned they were running a summer sale and would be able to beat the internet advertised price. Once we arrived the internet listed price was $2,000 under the listed price on the vehicle and the sales manager said "she does not know what she is talking about and if the internet said it was that low, than that is news to him, and they would do their best to match the internet listed price". I then showed him their internet appraisal (which I understand could be off a little considering the vehicle had not been seen in person by an appraiser) but the sales manager said, "he has no idea where that came from because he has never seen them offer an internet appraisal. They checked out my vehicle and said the best they could do was "$23-$25,000 as that is what it was going for currently at the LA auction houses". That was over $5,000 less than they had appraised online. After jerking our chain for an hour and wasting our time, trying to get us into a more expensive vehicle, we finally left with our vehicle and drove over to Carmax for an appraisal to see if it was a fair price that Crown was offering. Carmax gave a written appraisal to buy my vehicle for $30,000. The Sales Manager Tony Jiminez kept saying he had never heard of their "internet appraisals" or why they would offer less online than in person, or why Maria would have said they could beat the price. The entire experience was full of misleading and false advertisement. The lack of professionalism and communication within the co-workers was frustrating to say the least. I'm writing this review on behalf of my husband, Jason, who has been experiencing ongoing issues with Crown Jeep in Ventura. Jason's Jeep has had persistent problems, most recently, oil in the coolant. Despite his hopes that Crown Jeep would address the problems, his experience has been disappointing. Jason has only brought his Jeep to Crown Jeep Ventura twice, and both times were marked by delays, lack of communication, and unfulfilled promises that the issues were resolved. After expressing his frustrations publicly on social media, Jason was harassed by the dealership instead of receiving the support he needed. When Jason's key was misplaced/lost instead of receiving an apology, he was met with accusatory and unprofessional behavior. A simple apology for their mishap would have gone a long way, but instead, it only added to the frustration and lack of trust. Additionally, Jason was taunted by Sales Manager Mr. Thompson through text messages. He initially thought Mr. Thompson was reaching out to resolve the issues, but the messages felt more like harassment than a genuine effort to help. It's disheartening to see a dealership react this way to a customer who is simply seeking proper service for their vehicle. Jason has always been a loyal Jeep owner, but this experience has left him feeling mistreated rather than valued. We urge Crown Jeep to focus on resolving the issues rather than retaliating against customers who voice their concerns. Crown Jeep Dodge Chrysler of Ventura had my recent Yelp review removed and has flooded their page with fake reviews in the past two days. They've even tried to silence me by sending a cease-and-desist letter through their attorneys, but I won't be intimidated. I am committed to sharing the truth and giving an honest review of my experience. Two months ago, I brought my vehicle in for multiple issues, but when I got it back, the problems were still unresolved. After leaving a negative review in several Facebook groups, I had my vehicle towed back to Crown Jeep. My service advisor, Erick Rodriguez, informed me that his boss, the Director of the Service Department, saw my videos and was furious with him for not being truthful in the paperwork. He had given me a free battery without asking for my consent, and this got him into trouble. Following this, Erick coincidentally "lost" my key, first blaming me, then shifting the blame to the tow truck driver. He never took responsibility for his actions, and I believe this was intentional retaliation. It took 30 days to get a replacement key, even though the parts department told me it should take no more than five days. Since then, I've faced harassment from the dealership. Mark Thompson contacted me, mocking and belittling me with personal comments. They also denied my vehicle's 100,000-mile warranty. A video I posted on TikTok documenting my experience has gained 208,000 views, with many others sharing similar stories about this dealership. They blatantly manipulate reviews and remove negative feedback, just as they did with my Yelp review. Do not trust this company. Avoid doing business with them--you will regret it. read more

My wife an I were driving coming back from casino on the 101 south bound, we noticed the auto center mall , so we decided to check it out. We ended up at crown dodge, as we pulled up Bryan treated me like Is I was a family member. He was very friendly. I was searching for a 300s, so I liked him so much that I promised him I would return on Thursday the 7th. On Thursday Bryan called me with a courteous attitude via cell phone. I told Bryan that I was also searching for a Chevy Silverado. That I had an appointment on Thursday to see one, and if I didn't like I would see him Friday. Bryan was great as he mentioned that he just had a trade in 2015 Chevy Silverado, so he send me a link via cell phone. This guy is amazing, on Friday as we pulled into dealership he was very polite and cared of me as if I was a brother. I seen the Chevy and fell in love with it. I told him I'm sold I'll take it but no Bryan would have it that way.. he insisted I drive the truck , that's a quality that most salesmen at dealers lack off these days. He made sure I was satisfied before making the sale... that to me puts him on a top list salesmen. He just didn't care of completing a quick sale he went above and beyond to make sure I was completely satisfied. Also bought my dad and I a drink, made us fell like family. So with that said I would definitely recommend Bryan with friends and family. Thanks Bryan your the best. I was willing to leave a positive review -- but the dealership's continued misconduct has made that impossible. After 40+ days of delays, the vehicle was finally delivered. I had agreed to update my review positively once the matter was resolved. However, upon inspection at the Audi dealership, I discovered damage that was never disclosed during the sale: Left front headlight -- significant crack with moisture accumulation inside the lens. A crack this size does not happen without prior impact. This is a safety issue and a costly repair. Front grille damage -- confirmed by the Audi dealership during inspection, also never disclosed. Deep scratch on rear left door -- not present in any of the seller's photos, caused during their arranged transport delivery. Throughout the sales process, the salesperson Ken provided photos that deliberately avoided these damaged areas. This is not normal used car wear -- this is material misrepresentation. When I raised these issues, Sean told me "it's a used car, it can't be expected to be perfect." I have since sent formal written requests. Mark does not answer calls. Sean is always "busy" and disappears after every conversation. No resolution, no follow-up, no accountability. I did not want to post this update. I genuinely hoped we could resolve this directly. But the pattern of avoidance and non-response has left me no choice. I am sharing this so others can make an informed decision before purchasing remotely from this dealership. I've got to start out by saying that I was reluctant to have our new Jeep serviced here (we bought our Wrangler out of state) due to the poor Yelp ratings. However, after numerous visits for warranty repairs: seam in leather seat splitting (leather cover replaced), steering wheel leather wrinkled up (steering wheel replaced), dead battery (battery replaced), heated rear-view mirror recall (taken care of), driver and passenger heated seat elements failed - at different times, of course! (both replaced) TOTAL COST= $0.00 Some of these items were fixed or replaced at the discretion of either the service department or Chrysler and not just simply covered under the basic warranty. All I can say is that their service department has left us more than pleased... Jeep, for standing behind their product and Crown's service AFTER the sale (even though we didn't buy it from them!). Everyone from the phone receptionist to the service department manager has assisted me over the past few years and I've been treated with respect and as though my time mattered to them. Cliff Garnett, our service advisor, has taken great care of us on every occasion and I actually look forward to bringing the Jeep in to him! While I'm sure many of their poor Yelp reviews have some validity, I have no doubt that most of the folks who've had good experiences simply aren't taking the time to write about them.
