For this particular trip, My RDU Airport Shuttle made more sense than parking at the airport after doing the cost calculations. It cost $72 roundtrip, before tip, for My RDU Airport Shuttle to transport my wife and me from our home in Chapel Hill to RDU and back. It was a $33 *flat* fee plus $3 RDU Airport Authority fee each way. I tipped our drivers. I tipped the first driver with credit card. He had a Square card reader attachment for his phone. I tipped the second driver with cash. In comparison, at the time, rides with Lyft (Standard) and Uber (UberX) would have cost about $26 and $38, respectively, to get from Chapel Hill to RDU (one-way) using the set pickup time option. Note Lyft and Uber prices vary. Those just happened to be the prices I pulled at the time. My RDU Airport Shuttle isn't necessarily cheaper than using a ridesharing service, but ridesharing services aren't strictly in the business of transportation to and from RDU. I think there's some value in that with My RDU Airport Shuttle. For each of my rides with My RDU Airport Shuttle, I received detailed reservation confirmation emails and attached PDFs. They included clear instructions with what to expect both when departing RDU and when arriving at RDU. For our outbound flight, our driver, Ike, showed up to our home about 20 minutes early. He called and texted me to let me know he was outside. He told us to take our time. Ike wore a blazer over a Carolina T-shirt and picked us up in his Lincoln Town Car. It was nicer than your Standard Lyft or UberX. For our inbound flight, I received a text from our driver, Dexter, as soon as I turned on my phone after landing at RDU. He welcomed me to Raleigh/Durham and let me know that he had been tracking our flight. Per the company's instructions, we met Dexter at the designated pickup location: RDU "Prearranged Services" Zone 8 (purple sign). Zone 8 is for all airlines except Southwest. The Southwest pickup location is Zone 1. Dexter proudly wore his Raiders gear and picked us up in his minivan. Ike's car was unmarked. He also works for himself, Ike Transportation. Dexter's van was marked with "My RDU Airport Shuttle," phone number and web address. Both Ike and Dexter were professional, pleasant, and excellent drivers who provided smooth, safe, and comfortable rides. Thank you, Ike and Dexter. I would gladly use My RDU Airport Shuttle again. They have my recommendation.

North Hills always arrives at least 10 mins before requested time. The vehicles are newer, spacious and always clean. Anyone who travels via RDU knows that it's hard to get a late night or early morning ride. I've scheduled Lyft or Uber in advance and then the morning of the trip there was chaos with last minute cancellations. That makes me really nervous. I called a few weeks ahead to book and thought I had everything sorted. They were very on top of their game and send me contact info for a driver days beforehand and were very easy to chat with. Minutes before my daughter was getting picked up she called to let me know I booked the driver for the wrong date and he was scheduled for Friday (not Thursday). Oops! I called the car service in a panic and they said they could get another driver there within 30 min. Phew Douane picked her up within 30 min. I got an email when he was there to get her and again after he dropped her off at the airport. Really great for a worried parent who gets minimum communication from her teenage daughter ;) I could have gotten an uber for about $75 less, but felt safer doing this when she was across the country. Once I had my bags and called her back, she said the driver was on his way and would call me when he arrived. 40 minutes after my reservation time, he called but spoke with a thick accent and very quickly; I could barely understand him in order to find him. He was dressed sloppily in denim shorts and flip-flops, and was rude. The vehicle was dirty and reeked of air freshener. Our average speed on I-40 was 80 mph; the speed limit is 65 most of the way. Big disappointment.

Unfortunately, she waited to inform me that she wanted a limousine for her and eight other friends. After calling numerous limousine companies, the only thing I was able to  find was a very nice Mercedes party bus. She and her friends really wanted a stretched limousine, so I continued to call around. After speaking with White Glove Transportation and the website advertisement of a stretch Hummer, I contacted them. I was delighted to hear that they  had limos available. I specifically asked for the stretch Hummer. I was  told that that would not be a problem and proceeded to secure the vehicle. I put down a $450.00 deposit. I received an emailed invoice stating that the vehicle type will be a 15-passenger stretched limo. On April 28th, the day before, I contacted White Glove Transportation to confirm everything was in place and to confirm the vehicle. When I called, I was told they could not tell me exactly which vehicle I would be getting but reassured me it would be a VERY NICE 15-passenger stretch  limo. On April 29th at 3:50 PM, a very dated-looking and what I can only describe as a Ford hotel to airport shuttle-looking van pulled up. This van had seen its better days 10 years ago. Please note that driver, Mike, was extremely pleasant and very understanding. When I confronted him regarding the vehicle, he tried to contact Tony, who did not answer or call back. I personally called the company three times, demanding a call and some type of resolution. To date, I have not received a call back from White Glove Transportation; however, while talking to Mike, he received a call from Tony. Tony had the nerve to tell Mike that he could leave if we are not willing to pay the total price. Keep in mind I now have my daughter and eight other kids standing with no transportation to the prom. This is nothing more than a classic bait and switch scam. This company overbooks what they can legitimately supply and then relies on the fact that you have no option once you find out what they have done, as it is the day of your event. Tony obviously does not know how to run a business.  Do not trust them and make sure to dispute any charges. I would recommend making it as difficult as possible for them to get paid the full amount on partial service. You cannot run a sustainable business by lying and cheating. Anyone who rents from them should be very wary.  I would thoroughly suggest looking at the other legitimate and reputable companies. White Glove Transportation registered with the North Carolina Secretary of State in 2016. They are now listed as not currently active and the last annual report filed was in 2019. They are complete crooks!  Stay clear!!!
