Extremely poor service and a ripoff for tourists. We walked in asking for a muffin and a cappuccino and the woman standing at the cashiers angrily asked whether we were were sitting there. When I said yes, she instructed (angrily) to tell me to sit down in the main eating room. There we received a menu and when we didn't find the muffins in the menu, the waiter proceeded to tell us that it was fine and we could order anything from the front of the restaurant. When we bill was brought to us, we were a little surprised that the muffins now costed €5 per muffin vs €2 as advertised before. We asked them to correct the error as it has need labeled "dessert" on the bill. We were told prices were higher if we were sitting down in the main area (mind you that they could've just told us to sit at the bar for the cheaper price but they failed to mention this to us). After we refused to paid the higher "dessert" price, the waiter came back with another bill that correctly labeled the muffins as "muffins" vs a made up dessert that was €3 more expensive. We paid (total €16 for a cappuccino, a hot chocolate, and 2 chocolate muffins). Afterwards, I checked the price of the capuchino at the front and it was only €1.60 - the waiter charged us €5 per drink. Real ripoff and I would say disrespectful. I hope you take this review and decide to never visit a place like this one that enjoys cheating (pretty absurdly) on tourists. read more
