They claimed they rang the doorbell and found the back gate locked, but saw people inside through a window. Instead of further efforts, they sprayed only the front of the house and left. I've used Rascals a few times and always keep my back gate locked until they arrive for safety reasons. Typically, they start inside the house before moving to the outside. Here's my frustration! Is there really no other way to notify a loyal client if they don't answer the doorbell? When I asked Rascals about their protocol for such situations, they couldn't provide an answer. No phone call or text? Feeling ignored, I decided to terminate my service. Instead of apologizing and addressing my concern, Rascals let me walk away. I'm glad I waited a few months before writing a positive review on Rascals. This experience was disappointing. I need to work with companies that are flexible, understanding, and proactive in getting the job done. Rascals didn't show that.

After having tried the over the counter remedies with some hot and miss success, I decided to reach out to a professional to see if there was anything I could be doing better. Rozhe was informative. He took the time to listen to my concerns, the steps i had taken, and answer my questions. He recommended a quick drying eco friendly spray of the outer perimeter to prevent them from entering the home, and bait stations of the ones that are already inside. We have a dog, so we were concerned about any kind of spraying. Rozhe assured us that once dry (20-40 minutes), the spray poses no contact threat to humans or animals which made us feel a lot better. He was done treating the permitter in a little under 15 minutes, and told us to call him if the ants were still a problem, but was pretty sure that this would take care of it. Lastly we had a brief discussion about scorpions since we heard in the news that they seem to be more prevalent than years prior. He did say this is a spray that you can use if there is a real concern, but advised us to not leave out shoes outside, and give them a check before putting them on if we do. Fast forward two years later to today, another issue popped up. Joe came out to just do an inspection and found some issues. Being we just called for an inspection he was not able to do treatments right at that moment. Joe left and 45 minutes later Joe returned with another worker and they did an amazing job. Joe and his helper inspected the entire house from top to bottom, wall to wall and did some treatments and set a plan for followup. I cannot say enough about this company, their responsiveness, their thorough inspection, their communication, their total desire to help. Karen in the office is sweet and companionate as can be.
