Just picked up my glasses and want to share my experience from making the appointment until now. Absolutely wonderful! Elder millennial here and was so concerned about multiple issues I started experiencing all at once - annoying floaters in both eyes, redness, irritation and blurry/double vision. Having had seemingly great eyes prior to, I was stressed about it to say the least. Called and made my appointment with Perla and she got me in as soon as possible. Upon arrival everyone in the office was so welcoming and because of Perla I already knew I was in good hands. When I was done with the Dr. she took her time and had me try on as many frames as I wanted until I found the right ones. They have so many options but it didn't take that long. This was my first eye exam. I was impressed with the process, technology and how thorough the testing was. Dr. Perez is super down to earth, explaining in the anatomy of my eyes and glands which was super interesting, what I was experiencing and what I can do about it. I felt super confident in his care getting the appropriate lens prescription I needed along with recommendations for the supplements/diet that can help me take better care of my eyes. This review is long overdue as Dr. Perez has been my optometrist for quite a few years and he's truly the best! Here's how I know: 1) My prescriptions are always perfect. No issues or adjustments needed. 2) He takes his time and asks questions about my lifestyle to ensure good eye health and care. He also always explains things to me so I gain a good understanding. 3) He looks out for me and gives his best advice. I was considering lasik eye surgery, but since he takes his time to talk with me, he remembered that I am considering law school and advised doing it after school since the heavy reading might damage my eyes at a faster rate than normal aging. Lasik after seems like a better option for longer lasting good vision. 4) His staff is amazing and I've seen many of the same people for years. Perla, the office manager, remembers me always and is such an honest and helpful person. Everyone is so kind and I love going to see my eye doctor because of them. Came in yesterday to find some new glasses and as soon as I walked in I got bombarded with questions... I felt very pushy to either pick something out or to leave. So, I left not long after. I been to their other locations and usually the staff is pretty welcoming and nice. However, I felt very unwelcome here. I was told that if they were to pull up my insurance then I can't go anywhere else. I've never been told that so I was pretty surprised. Don't look any further! Been seeing Dr. Perez and his staff for the past 8 years! They make me feel so welcomed and relaxed when I go in for my appointments. I am grateful to find an optometrist who will take the time to sit with you and figure out the best options. I began wearing contacts when I met them, but eventually got glasses cause my allergies made me rub my eyes a lot. But now, I'm resorting back to contacts cause wearing glasses and these masks are not helpful... they get fogged up all the time. Oh my goodness I love this office! Called to make an appointment a month ago & the whole process couldn't have gone any smoother. The two women who help at the front are so funny, kind & extremely helpful. Before I was seen they called me to verify that my insurance was accepted & accurate. (I forgot my maiden name was still on my insurance info, I'm so glad they caught it for accurate billing ahead of time) I was quickly greeted & felt welcomed as soon as I arrived. Paperwork was usual new patient paperwork which never bothers me (it's normal for every office!) I was quickly brought into a room for the eye exams. When the doctor came into the room I could tell right away he has a great attitude about everything in general and made my eye exam funny & informational. His sense of humor is hilarious, I've been telling my coworkers about it for weeks. He took his time explaining my concerns in detail. I never felt rushed or unheard. He double checked before leaving to see if I had any more questions which I appreciated. I felt like a patient who mattered not just a number. After my eye exam I was able to quickly & easily pick out some frames up front. My insurance benefits were explained which was nice. (I know they don't have to do that, us patients should technically always know our own insurance benefits). I paid and was told it would be 3 weeks before my glasses came in, but it only took 2 weeks! I picked them up earlier today and again was greeted with a warm welcome, some laughs & made sure everything was good before leaving. Best eye doctors office I've ever been to! 10/10!!!! read more

Our family has been here for over three years for our annual checkups. We had an appointment today for my 5 year old at noon, and traffic was hectic on Rainbow as it was lunch hour. Parking was easy to find. Office is clean. Waiting area was small with five chairs. I was a little nervous as I had a baby with me, and I know my baby would not sit still in the waiting area. The front desk person was courteous to offer me help with my baby so that I got a free hand to fill out paperworks. Luckily, there was no wait time. As I was filling out the paperwork, the technician took my 5yo inside to take pictures and do all the preparations needed. As soon as I got done with the paperwork, we were brought in the room to wait for the doctor. He came in 10' later and started all the test. We were in and out in 45 minutes. We spent a good amount with the doctor. He wasn't in a rush when he was in the room. He took his time answering our questions. The office staff and the doctor are good with kids. They know how to work with them ****Updates*** We went to see Dr. Perez last week. He spent almost an hour with us to explain about my son's condition. He played my son's fav cartoon for him just to observe how his eye muscles react to certain lighting effects. This office is keeping up to their five star service. read more

My brother and I had back to back appointments that day and we were greeted warmly right away when we walked in the door. They are doing appointments only and they ask that you call them before entering. The office manager, Perla, does a great job at making the lobby environment comfortable. The staff are all warm, competent, and kind. Jensine at the front will help you out! Dr. Perez makes you feel at ease right away.
