The doctor is amazing, funny and very welcoming! I came here out of convenience and necessity- our vision plan changed at work and this was the closest clinic to home that accepted our plan. The place is clean and smells nice- bonus. They do have a lot of fancy frames- Prada, Gucci, Versace- but I have never felt pressured to upgrade anything. Matter of fact I always bring my own frames and they are just as happy to stuff my lenses in for me. I really like the doctor- he always tells me my eyes are beautiful lol. He also mentions they are healthy and I'm doing a good job not sleeping in my contacts- but whatever- priorities. They carry the brand of contacts like love too- Acuvue Oasys- so that my eyes don't dry out all day.

Ended up buying a pair with snap on sunglasses which I love, but after a couple of months, I noticed that the lenses were scratched more than just normal wear and tear would have caused. I took them back and they were able to get them fixed under the warranty so all around great experience.

I had an eye infection that felt like someone was jabbing me in the eye with an ice pick. She prescribed a drop that took the pain away instantly and even gave me a coupon to help with the cost of it, since it was a bottle of drops half the size of my pinky but every expensive even with my insurance. I would have gladly paid much more just for the relief it gave me. She has been doing my exams for contacts for years and keeps me seeing great!! The staff is very friendly and efficient getting me in and out in a timely manner! My husband just went to see Dr Welding and will be having eye surgery with Dr Ford in the coming weeks for his Catafact's. Dr Welding was very good at explaining the different options and put my husband at ease about was to come. The North Arlington office was just a friendly and timely in getting us in an out as the Mansfield Office. Makes going to the Eye Dr not such a terrible thing!

Now, since I'm just coming back from Seattle, my prescription was coming from the OD in the Target clinic there. I asked the staff at this office if they could use my current prescription from that Target OD and provide me a trial pair to get by until my order came in next door. My Target OD in Seattle had always done this as a courtesy for me, so I guess I'm spoiled. It's probably safe to assume that the Opthalmalogists/Optometrists connected to Target stores were vying for Target Optical customer business--afterall, I would have eventually became her customer in a few months when my exam was due....All I can say is that the staff was rude (she even hung up on me when I asked her name) and the OD, even more so when I called back. So much for gaining my business. In the past, I've always gotten my contacts from Target, but I had to switch to TSO across the street after this experience. The good news is that TSO said they'd have my lenses in 2 days instead of the week Target Optical orders take! And, the TSO guys were very kind and accommodating. Guess it all worked out in the end. It's TSO when I am in Texas and Target when I am in Seattle. :)
