I have been buying my glasses at this Jensen Beach location for many years. I usually buy Oakley glasses because of good styling and quality. Every couple of years I manage to bend them and lose an eye pad. The team at this store always makes them look like new. Professional and polite. Very happy! read more

How they allow their salespeople to work with the public while coughing throughout the store is beyond comprehension, but that's exactly what this young man Chris was doing. During this pandemic, I would expect a company to have a little more precautions in place. Maybe stay home if you're sick. They do have a decent selection of glasses which is nice. First of all, Dr. Rina Javier is awesome! She's friendly, very sharp, makes you feel comfortable and super knowledgeable. She takes the time to explain things clearly and concisely. My script as always been right on also. Sales and management though? What a joke. No info about sizing or style, just how much does it cost. My last visit there I spent over $300 after insurance for a nicer pair, with lenses that are supposedly 10x more resistant to scratches than glass. I some how scratched them within 3 weeks. Tried to bring them back to fix or replace and got nothing but too bad, you scratched them. Asked for a discount on replacement pair and got blown off by the manager. He was rude and adamant that he didn't give a crap that I had come there for years and bought many pairs. Don't buy your glasses here. Complete rip-off and don't stand behind their product. read more

This place has the worse customer service I have ever seen. They expect me to sign a waiver that if they lose or break my glasses they are not responsible for it. Those are brand new frames and they will not take responsibility for there work then that's. It's a place people should not do business at. I urge everyone to find a better company. My insurance company does not need me to sign a wavier protecting your company if you loose or damage my property. If your Company has possession of my property you guys are responsible I don't know how you don't see that but I will take my business elsewhere. read more

I had my eye exam and the Dr was very nice and professional. After my exam I started to look for frames and found a pair I liked. After sitting down with one of the female staff members she told me that my lenses would cost 150$, I told her that I could not attord that much tor lenses at this time. I was not given any other option of lenses. After driving home I contacted my insurance company and was told that my lenses were only supposed to be 25$. I called the store and spoke to the same female staff member and tried to have her explain to me why I was being charged 150$ for lenses and she told me it was because they were anti- glare lenses which she never told me in the store, she only assumed that I needed them but from the last few pairs of glasses that I've purchased from them, I never got the anti-glare lenses. I asked if I could just order the glasses over the phone but I was told that I couldn't because they needed to measure them on my face. After driving all the way back to the store I was given dirty looks and could hear the 3 of the female staff members speaking badly of me and saying that they didn't want to deal with me, when it was their fault to begin with. My face was never measured for the glasses so I drove all the way there for no reason. I hope this store either checks their staffs attitude or fires them for being so unprofessional. I guess the staff thought I needed hearing aids as well as glasses but my ears work just fine as well as my sense of situational awareness. The only helpful person besides the Dr who was very nice was the gentleman with the tattoos on his arms who was very polite and answered all of the questions I had. read more

Had tried SO MANY optometrists who failed to accurately fit me with correct contact lens and glasses. Dr Javier is amazingly accurate, efficient and pleasant. Getting the optical prescription spot on appears to be a breeze for her. I have referred NUMEROUS friends to her who now see her exclusively for their optical care. Front staff are mostly all new since COVID caused closure, layoffs, etc. and are still learning their roles. read more

Purchase glasses with the 14 months ago, 250 out of pocket with insurance covering another 200. My glasses lens are peeling and they are becoming very hard to see through. I called them and my warranty ran out 2 months ago. Wouldn't help me at all, was gonna cost another 250 for new lenses. After spending about 700 with contacts and glasses you would think they would have better customer service and stand by their products. Our family has purchased many sets of glasses from this establishment over the years. The service has often been very good. On our last two visits things have changed and not for the better. My boy had a nose piece fall off on a pair of glasses he got a month ago. He went in and instead of replacing it as they have done for me many times in the past they decided to impose a charge for this service. Any decent eyewear establishment will make any small repairs for free for regular customers. This policy change will certainly cost them many customers. I for one have moved on. read more

Just had my first visit with Optical World in Jensen Beach. I had developed severe eye irritation whenever wearing my current contacts. Dr. Rina Javier thoroughly assessed my vision, the condition of my eyes and my current contacts. She concluded I had extremely dry eyes and suggested switching to a daily wear moist contact. It was the perfect solution and after 2 weeks of wearing the new contacts I have had no eye irritation. The staff was also very helpful. In addition to processing my insurance, they searched for rebates on my prescribed contacts and they found a $200 rebate from the company for a 1 year supply. I got contacts through them twice. Both times they messed up charging me. I paid for my visit and contacts upfront, on pick up they said I owed more money. Legally they have to give it to me but it was not worth fighting since I need contacts to see and not worth hassel to go somewheres else. I don't trust them. Not professional. I also asked about lasik and they had a hard time discussing process and referencing a doctor. Eyes are very precious, I would go to another place. read more

I recently visited for a contact and eyeglass exam and Dr. Rina Javier was SUPER thorough, nice, and informative. Usually when I go to one of these mall type place the service is not so good, and no one ever compares to my old opthamologist in Mass.. Dr. Javier was great. She took so much time with me until she got my new prescription just right. She also used a lot of additional techniques that no one has used for years because they just want to get you in and out. She continued to go over and over AND OVER the strengths until she knew it was right. I was in the appointment for quite some time, and that's a good thing! I had trouble with delivery of prescription glasses. We used our insurance and order for 2 pairs of glasses was over $1000. We were leaving the area at the end of the month and needed our glasses delivered before that time. My husband received his and they were fine, however mine were not exactly as ordered. They were returned to the insurer for new lenses, and we were told that we would have them atleast a week before our departure. When I called two days before leaving the area, I was told that they had not arrived and they didn't know when they would be delivered. The woman on the phone, unfortunately I didn't get her name ( fortunate for her!), argued with me about the delivery time and cost to deliver. Can't believe, due to their mistake on timing guarantee, and after spending $1000+ she was going to charge us to deliver the glasses! She kept saying it wasn't their fault and she would provide me with the insurance phone number to call. It ended up with me canceling the order since we would not pay for them to send the glasses to us. So, they lost an order because they wouldn't comp the delivery? I have never been treated like this during a phone conversation ever! I believe this woman was assistant manager or a manager, not sure. What I am sure about is that she needs instruction on polite and courteous customer service and how to deal with difficult situations. With this company, the customer is never right!
