Monday came around and we were paired with the BEST CNA. I won't mention her name because of confidentiality BUT she showed the MOST compassion for my mother. She did tasks without me having to ask. Terrible. First went there before I had a diagnosis and the Therapist said it was piriformis…read moresyndrome and treated me for that. He did dry needling ( which he called acupuncture) and was given some specific exercises. Had MRI and found out I had 2 herniated discs. Went back and saw a different therapist. Brought in a new referral with my diagnosis. Handed that to receptionist. Told her I now had a diagnosis and what it was. She was very dismissive, did not look at the diagnosis (with Dr's notes) so I told her I have 2 herniated discs. She said it didn't matter, it was the same treatment and proceeded to place me on a bicycle and left me there for 20 minutes. She then attempted to hook me to a traction device which she apparently didn't do correctly because it wasn't doing anything. She then gave me a printout of exercises to do and didn't even attempt to instruct me on how to do them. This place is a joke. Ended up going to a different place where the Therapist does some hands on therapy and gentle manipulations and actually instructs on how to do the prescribed exercises. Completely different treatment and specific for me and my diagnosis. She said it was way too soon to be on a bike and the exercises given to me by the other Therapist did more harm than good. Please don't go here!
