I understand accidents happen, and there is always a slim possibility of other reasons, but when pointed out, the response was, "We weren't even working there." What? It's exactly where they were working! And, "there's nothing that would have scratched there." It's exactly where the sharp edged gutter was brought up over the railing. I couldn't believe the lack of accountability which continued. They actually tried to say there were other spots along the railing that were banged up, which was actually just not-perfect staining over bumpy wood grain...not the same thing at all as the gauges left. When they offered to stain the railings, I declined, as I just wanted them out as soon as possible after feeling so hoodwinked and disrespected Also attached it a photo of a gutter that they had banged up early in their visit. Though they ended up using it where it couldn't be seen, which is fine, it is proof that there is carelessness involved in their work. Also attached is the horribly cut hole through our brand new deck for the gutter and a crookedly installed gutter. Shoddy and unaccountable.

This was a small project that became nothing but stress unnecessarily. I tried to come to a resolution over failing issues but they refuse to stand behind their work and fix mistakes. They also changed my plans that I paid an engineer a lot of money to design and left me with a building of much less value than was supposed to be. This is not how you treat customers. Last but not least, they charged top dollar and tried to use the LOWEST grade (even bargain bin) materials, including putting in cheap windows against the engineers plans. I was supposed to have a vaulted ceiling and instead it is flat. They did it without permission and the value of the building was decreased by 30-40%. The cause my irreparable harm to my business as well. I am still giving these issues and they refuse to communicate. They put 21 year old partially rotted boards onto the end walks to save themselves a mere 150 dollars. I hope it was worth their reputation. The list of failure and shocking carelessness is 5 pages long plus. These are not stand up people. They certainly aren't "how you treat family".
