They did a meridian scan and I was impressed. What it showed was exactly how I was feeling. Dr. Jo came in and then went over the results and did my acupuncture session. I had tried all OTC sleep aids which had worked for years and then they started having the opposite effect. I tried all the latest prescription sleep aids but they didn't work well and left me drowsy all day. Dr. Rey's treatment has given me an extra 60-90 minutes of sleep at night, but even more importantly, I get a lot more deep sleep and REM sleep which really makes a difference. I am so thankful - I actually look forward to going to sleep now knowing that I will be rested when I get up. He has also helped me with my almost daily headaches and neck pain. He has helped me deal with withdrawal symptoms from stopping HRT treatment. He's been able to help me with foot pain which is very important to me since I'm a big walker! I've had treatment done in the past and it was through Kaiser NoCal so when I came here to my surprise my plan also helped cover some sessions here. However, if you do not health insurance does cover these kinds of specialty services, Dr. Won can let you know of the per session cost. I don't think it was anything outrageous though. He was also able to check if I was eligible to be covered pretty quick (in a few minutes or less at the beginning of our first session - and I was eternally grateful). He not only provided traditional acupuncture and cupping (not fire cupping FYI, it was suction based) for me that I was used to, but also added in some new therapies like electrostimulation, ultrasound, and red light therapy. Also added bonus since I came in with a tight back and shoulders that really added to my wrist and finger pains he also taught me some exercises to help loosen up the tension! Also, if you are a little nervous about needles like I have been I thought he was pretty gentle when placing them on the necessary points for your treatment plan!
