I've been visiting this practice for the last year now, and the service here is exceptional. There are two doctors at this practice, and both are professional and knowledgeable. I've been going for my TMJ pain and tension in my neck, and so far it's been more manageable. I've also noticed other improvements and changes as my body adjusts to the acupuncture treatments, but as things come up Dr. Paul addresses them and helps the pain become more manageable. Having the ability to go to one place for chiropractic and acupuncture wasn't something I had thought about or sought out, but it has definitely been convenient and nice in trying to manage the pains and aches. They try to work with you as much as possible with insurance; it's nice if insurance covers it. read more

Just got back from some shoulder treatment. Got some electrical acupuncture work, hammer gun treatment, and neck chiro adjustment. I can only echo all of the wonderful reviews on Yelp. The doctors and the team here are amazing, helpful & professional. For about a week, I could not move my neck. It was one of the scariest things I have experienced. Not trying to be dramatic but it was so painful to move, drive, blink, function, live; you name it. After the first session, I was able to see drastic improvements & even able to turn to check my blind spots! After a couple more sessions, I was good to go and ready gym again. I received both acupuncture and chiro services. But I feel that most of my improvements were attributed to the acupuncture services. The team did not try to sell me for unnecessary things and I feel that they really had my best interest in mind. Fellow yelpers, I would highly recommend this practice if you need relief. When seeking immediate relief from acute sciatic nerve pain, I turned to Radix for a solution. I couldn't wait to get in to see the orthopedist to then get a referral for physical therapy. The pain was constant and debilitating. Dr Paul Choi performed a physical exam then recommended 6-8 acupuncture treatments. If that didn't do the trick, we would try something else. After one treatment, my pain went from an 8 to a 5. After the second treatment, my mobility is greatly improved and intermittent pain is down to a 2. I know acupuncture isn't the silver bullet in all situations but I am so incredibly thankful to Radix for restoring me back to my everyday life. read more

I was diagnosed with Bels Palsy and did a lot of research on the benefits of acupuncture and its recovery benefits. I started treatment with Dr. Ben and he was very optimistic about my case and suggested 2 to 3 sessions a week. i found this place through Yelp and I'm so thankful. Both Dr. Choi's are great! Very nice and they take time to make sure everything is okay with you. They have great equipments and they are very good at what they do. I got acupuncture in my neck area and my forearms ( I had tendonitis in both my arms and were very painful) but when that didn't work, they treated me with acupressure. OMG! acupressure HURTS! but what do you know? i was better after a few weeks, when i had my tendonitis for several months without much improvement. I'm so thankful for finding this place and Dr. Choi and Dr. Choi (hehe). They are a little pricey, but my insurance covered most of it (I think) and they are definitely worth it. Parking is always an enigma... I always park right in front, though i don't know if I'm allowed to; thankfully I never been ticketed or towed :) Very nice and clean facilities too. They have soothing music to help you relax (to the point of sleepiness). read more

I've been coming to Radix for awhile now. I've been coming since at least 2008 and they've always been very kind and knowledgeable. I've seen both Dr. Ben and Dr. Paul. They're both very nice doctors and do a great job at explaining what they're doing. Their offices are located in the center just next door to Target. There is ample parking and the office is quite nice. The waiting room/treatment rooms are very clean, quiet and zen. I, also, liked that there is light music playing, so you can focus on the music and get zen (or in my case take a light nap). A week ago I went to see Dr.'s Ben and Paul for extreme neck pain that made me practically immobile. My first visit was with Dr. Ben Choi. He was very kind and gentle and did the acupuncture and chiropractic adjustment. I left feeling less pain able to move my neck around more. The next morning the pain was intense again so I went back and Dr. Paul saw me. He was also very nice and mindful. He only put one needle in my hand and OMG it released almost all the pain from my neck. He gave me some neck exercises to do everyday to keep it from tightening up. After I left, I felt much better, altho the pain returned that evening. But my range of motion was WAY better and the pain wasn't as severe. He told me it would take about a week to heal. It's been a week and the pain is almost completely gone. I'm so thankful to have gone to see them. They are extremely helpful and experienced. read more

Awoke with a sharp pain in my neck. Every step, movement, breathe hurt. I looked at the clock, 5:45am. I knew if I laid back down, I wouldn't be able to get back up. I was so grateful that the office could squeeze me in that morning. Dr. Ben and Dr. Paul were awesome! Very straight forward, professional and confident he knew what the issue was. The acupuncture was a little painful actually any movement to my upper body was painful. Two hours later the pain was manageable. The next morning... 10X better. I have been seeing Dr. Ben for over a year now for back pain and have referred him and his office to several friends and coworkers (I can't believe I hadn't previously Yelped him!) I went in today for my usual, but I have been having asthma issues in the humidity. Like every day I am having an asthma attack. Well I had one this morning and could not find my rescue inhaler. Thankfully it was a milder one and I was able to focus my breathing and meditate through it, but when I left my office this afternoon, it flared up again. I asked Dr. Ben if acupuncture could be used for asthma? He said it did, but of course it would be a face up treatment whereas my back is a face down treatment. So I opted to have my back dealt with and figured I would just use my inhaler as soon as I got home tonight. After my session, Dr. Ben did some acupressure on my face. I didn't immediately feel a difference, but halfway out to my car, my breathing just completely cleared up!!! I cannot recommend him and this office (everyone is awesome) enough. I recently had my first appointment on the recommendation of my orthopedic specialist (have already been doing physical therapy and had a steroid injection to help with the pain) to treat the lingering pain and inflammation due to a rotator cuff injury and have to say I was very impressed with Dr. Ben Choi's expertise, compassion and honest feedback. He's exactly the type of doctor you wish for that spends the time listening and answering all your questions. He also is very down to earth and will not recommend anything unnecessary. The office location was easy to find, receptionist was very sweet, they take insurance and best of all there was NO WAIT. Prior to this I had tried a different acupuncturist whose office always made us wait 45 minutes to an hour, would not really listen but make up her own assessment without actually really examining you and insisted I receive a series of spinal x-rays which the x-ray technician when I went told me was completely unnecessary so I opted to not have them done. I had a bad feeling so I'm glad I decided to look for a new doctor. I definitely think that even if you have never done acupuncture and are hesitant to try it, this office would change your mind. And if you're a veteran to acupuncture you will be very pleased with this office. read more

I can't say enough good things about this clinic. I've been to numerous different chiropractors and usually they make me wait, spend only ten minutes with me, and I don't feel any difference at all. Because of job related pains, I've had chronic tension headaches and lower back pain. Dr. Ben is very gentle, attentive, and spends the time necessary to make sure you're getting proper treatment. And I leave feeling lighter and pain free. I have never once waited to see him and he takes insurance with no problems. I've had insurance issues with other chiropractic clinics where the insurance company would limit visits. This isn't the case with Dr. Ben. In addition, most chiropractors don't provide acupuncture as an alternative or supplementary treatment but he does. I'm currently pregnant so I'm experiencing all the aches and pains involved in a normal pregnancy. Dr. Ben treats me in a way that is mindful and careful of my pregnancy and I kid you not when I say I walk in with pain and walk out pain free. My husband has a computer desk job and also feels so much better after getting treated. I wholeheartedly recommend Dr. Ben to anyone who actually wants to feel results! read more
