She didn't even take the time to listen to the heartbeat until my boyfriend had her recheck. 30 seconds at max the first time then actually found it after us mentioning that she didn't find it. LIED straight to our faces. I will never be seen by her again I'm not even sure why she works there considering I heard multiple complaints about her just today in th office from other patients. The only reason I will come back is because we APPRECIATE the case manager Irene she's been nothing but good experiences for us as well as the other nurses. Laura Boston deserves to be fired from this company let alone should not be practicing medicine of any sorts. I'd love to make a formal complaint against her so she's gone. The doctors and staff acted quickly, performing an emergency procedure to place three stents, and took amazing care of her until she was transferred to Kaiser. We headed over to the ER, and the man who checked us in was SO RUDE and he was questioning us because my dad was "speaking normal" even when I explained everything that happened. He kept insisting that he looked normal, and was looking at me and my dad like we were full of crap and lying, I got very irritated with this man. They immediately took my dad in and the man followed the nurse to tell her that my dad seems fine (basically telling the nurse we were lying) and the nurse then told him my dads vitals and he just said "oh" and left. He was wrong, rude, and inserting himself in situations that he has no business inserting himself in. My dad was in fact having a stroke and was hospitalized for days and is now in a rehabilitation center for a month with recovery that will take longer, he could have died if we waited any longer, and this man could have made them doubt and make my dad wait longer.He was bald with glasses. Seriously would hate to see him again. I will be making a complaint and seek further action. Ps. He is such a great doctor - super nice and very thorough with the few concerns I did have. Because of him my physicals are quick and easy, which is very alleviating when I see doctors as a patient! I've also gone here once on a non-physical appointment. On that appointment I saw Dr. Tran. He addressed my concerns to my satisfaction and his prescriptions helped me get a lot better. The support staff from the check-in desk to the RNs and even the lab staff are super friendly. Whenever I go here they ensure that my visit is hassle-free. I also have good medical insurance so no surprise bills to come out of here. PS: My only concern is that Scripps doesn't have an urgent care location south of the 52. I know that as of my last visit they were promoting HealthExpress so at least there's an option there but it just sucks that I would have to drive the equivalent distance of going to work just to be seen.

This VA clinic is absolutely awful. The parking structure alone is a nightmare--small, cramped,…read morepoorly designed, and nowhere near enough parking for all the businesses in the complex. The spots are tiny, traffic backs up constantly, and getting in or out is unnecessarily stressful. Unfortunately, the parking is only the beginning. The quality of care at this location is extremely poor. It became so bad that I had to transfer my care out of this clinic entirely. I filed a formal complaint with the VA Patient Advocate's Office and also reported my former primary care provider and nurse to the Medical Board of California due to serious concerns about malpractice. If you need lab work, be prepared to wait up to two hours for a simple blood draw. Completely unacceptable. As a veteran with PTSD, this clinic environment triggers anxiety rather than providing care or support. This place has caused me more stress than help. I would strongly recommend avoiding this location if you have other options.

I have to contact the Lakes Urgent care office once again only to find out the made a mistake and sent my prescription to the wrong location. When I arrived to my specialist appointment, once again I have to contact the Lakes Office because they never sent over my referral approval. Constant oversight and mistakes with this office.
