I can't believe it's been so long without reviewing this place! Long story short, I came to Nancy for weight loss. She helped a friend of mine. I love that. She has a solid nutritional plan, with an emphasis on avoiding inflammatory foods. Further, she does body fat composition, using bio impedance. This was extremely helpful because I was an athlete and building muscle and losing fat does not always show up properly on the scale. She was also able to correct a number of other oddities in my body through supplementation. She has a vast knowledge of various supplements. She's also very sweet and will answer all of your questions. I'm actually about to chat with her again for my latest round of issues! Since I had needed to the post Office and was already dressed and out of the house I decided it would be a good time to go check out a little shopping area along Riverside Boulevard that I have been driving past for years always on the way to somewhere else. Boy did I pick a good time to finally make a point of coming here. Optimum Health was the first shop I entered. Based on the name I was expecting health foods and supplements and they did have that, but also things I was not expecting like cards and refrigerator magnets, decorative plaques, jewelry and scarves, all of which were beautiful and, best off all, they were having a big sale. I went there to try to find something I could do for a cough I've had for 4 years. I spent an hour or so filling out a detailed form for Nancy to review prior to my formal consultation which cost me $200. When I did go in for my consultation it became very obvious that Nancy had not looked at any of my info prior to our meeting, as she asked many questions that were answered on the form. Long story short - this was the biggest rip-off I've ever encountered. Nancy had me buy many expensive vitamins with little consultation. I tried the vitamins and Nancy had me come back in a week. Finally...relief! I have had horrible, debilitating headaches for four years. Over those years I've tried EVERYTHING--acupuncture, diet, cranial sacral therapy, chiropractor, naturopath, botox, beta blockers, hormone therapy and more --all great services, but in my case nothing helped. My doctors and neurologist were just at a loss. They tried to help, but they didn't know how. Finally at the advice of a friend, I made an appointment to go talk to Nancy. I returned looking for a way to cut the agony of night sweats again was given great advice that completely worked (if one follows directions!).
