This place is great to get you breads, pastries etc at way better prices than the grocery stores. Manager special are usually priced at a deeper discount due to reaching the Best Buy date within a week, but you can always stash it in the freezer for later. The inside as soon as you walk in there bread baked good galore and the customer service is good. They have a wide selection of breads and pastries as well as honey, jams, jellies and preserves, it's endless really. This store has changed their name a number of times, from Sara Lee, Rainbow, Bimbo, or The Bakery Outlet. I just like to call them: The bread store! I pass by this place all the time, but I haven't been back for several years. I finally made time to stop in, to see if they still have the deals as I fondly remembered. I have no problem admitting that I love and frequently buy breads, donuts, Danish pastries, English Muffins and anything else they might have on sale! You can't beat the prices anywhere! So what if some things are a day old or close to expiration dates. I have not had any problems with any of my purchases! They still taste fresh and if you are like me, buy in bulk and store them in the refrigerator or freezer! They feature many popular brand names like Rainbo, Oroweat, Entemann's, Bimbo, Thomas, Marinela, San Luis Sourdough, Ball Park, and the list goes on! Thursdays are Senior discount days too! I noticed I automatically got a senior discount on my receipt when I got home. Not sure how I feel about that! LOL! As usual, I bought more than I should have, but I have plenty of room in my freezer now. They were also having a special going on. The lady (Sherie?) when I pop in on Saturdays is always so sweet -- recommending newly arrived items or flavors (like the cinnamon protein English muffins or the maple and brown sugar Artesano loaf). Usually come in for Sara Lee deluxe bagels, Thomas' English Muffins, Oroweat breads (organic, Oatnut, Double Fiber, 12 Grain) or Alfaro Artesano Golden Wheat or brioche buns. The bagels are usually several flavors to choose from, even the mini-bagels. All the bread, even organic and Keto are available for cheap. The bagels come out to 2 for $3.50. They also have some jars of jams and spreads, Ballpark burger and hotdog buns, rolls, and also packaged items like the individual fruit pies, Mexican Marinela brand sweets (pineapple Barritas, Gansitos), mini muffins (Little Bites), Entenmann's cakes/pastries (pound cakes, donuts), Boboli pizza dough, Nature's Harvest, and of course, Bimbo brand items. They also have those pizza breads called bouboli's in which we use often This is a bakery outlet. This is day old bread (where nothing is wrong with them). Pricing will vary depending on what goes on sale. We just got hooked on the KETO seeded bread which is 2 for $5. Normally, selling around $4 at local grocery stores. I typically buy enough bread for almost a month and freeze it. Besides the bouboli's and Keto bread, I have purchased lots of sourdough, and various sliced bread brands they support Bread from here has always been wonderful and well priced. At times, they will have sales. This is not a very big store. But packed in with lots of stuff. As I pointed out, I buy enough bread for a few weeks. So, I walked out with 8 loaves of KETO seeded bread. Most in my freezer. Oh, also, the keto bread is pretty good. You can't even tell the difference. You can get a punch card for donuts or bread, and get a discount with a full card. Free items also given with purchases of $8 or $15. But the stock isn't the only reason to go. In the 10 or so times I have been in, the employee at the counter has never failed to greet me, is always polite and friendly and points out special bargains. I have never had much luck with freezing bread, but she gave me a tip to thaw frozen bread upside down and it worked! Wish I could get service like this everywhere. read more
