I have gone here for many years, and have always found competency with compassion. When the female…read moredoctor I had been seeing left for another group, I thought about changing. I am glad I did not! I have been seeing Dr. Subramanian for several years now and think he is awesome. That said, my family is almost all doctors except me, and I am VERY picky. If I feel like a physician talks down to me, I will find someone else. Dr. S discusses my personal issues with me like we are a team---he's the coach, and I am the player. With that approach, he has convinced me to do some of the preventive procedures I had previously avoided. I know that he takes a personal interest in my well-being and I will continue to see him in the future.

Weatherford location is closing and it's about time…read more Terrible P.A. Laurence Hayward. Doesn't care about you or your health. It took 2 nurses and 5 attempts to get my BP and Hayward told me I needed to go see a cardiologist and take it daily at home. Him and his office is lousy at handling office tasks and referrals. My insurance approved payment of a BP cuff from a medical supplier, just needed his order and signature but his office called the next day saying he wasn't ordering one and I could buy one over the counter. No explanation and now I see why. Melcher is my Medicare dr on record but I saw Hayward 1st. Guess if your dr didn't get you in 1st, tuff. Twice I've tried to get an appointment with my dr on record and 4/2026 was told they weren't taking new patients. REALLY HES MY DOCTOR. EVEN THE INSURANCE IS FLABBERGASTED. Then just tried again 6/9/2026 and they gave me 1 for next day, put me on hold, came back and told me they couldn't make the appointment as I hadn't seen Melcher and I was seeing Hayward his P.A.. The guy said I'd have to do a new patient so I told him I'd do the 6/29 and after another long hold I was told they couldn't make me an appointment. No reason. So my 6/22 appointment which no one has notified anyone of its closing will leave me with no doctor. I have now filed a 2nd grievance with my insurance. Yeah they type something here but they really don't give a crap. I spent 3 days in the hospital for BP 76/52 only for it to come back AGAIN, THAT IT WAS MY MEDICATION!!!! $1,050 later, the 2nd time from the previous one, with multiple specialists and test to be determined its medication. What the point of having a PCP when they are too incompetent to even look at your info!!!! This fool could have killed me!!!

I live in Granbury, but the closest urgent care is Tricities. We've been to this location a few…read moretimes in the last year and had a good experience. Not so much this time. When my son developed a sudden cough on a Friday night, I checked the website to make sure Tricities had rapid Covid tests (it said they did, right on the landing page), and then drove 45 minutes to get him checked out. When I walked in, I was directed to a posted sign that said the office was out of rapid Covid tests. Okay, fine. Annoying that only people coming into the clinic would find that out, but I could take him somewhere else for that part. I said I would just get my son checked out to make sure nothing else was going on. Then I was informed that due to a "new policy", I needed prior authorization from our doctor to have him seen because of our HMO plan. The reason I brought him to urgent care is because it's the weekend and his doctor's office is closed. Thus, the "urgent" part. What's the point of an after-hours urgent facility if you need paperwork from your regular doctor to be seen there?! To top it all off, the receptionist was curt, unfeeling, and seemed almost triumphant that as she pointed out each new piece of information. Some suggestions: 1. If there aren't any rapid Covid tests, then that information should be posted on the website, perhaps on the landing page that claims there are rapid Covid tests. 2. A new policy that affects a large group, such as those with HMO insurance, should also be posted on the website. 3. A receptionist with a shred of friendliness sure would be a nice addition to the front desk. I can assure you we won't be back.

I MUST say, these are the nicest people I have met in a hospital in a long time, maybe ever. The staff was wonderful, friendly, helpful and did everything they could to make me comfortable The doctor was absolutely unlike any doctor I have met that I did not already know socially. He came in the room where I was and introduced himself by his first name. Not doctor somebody but his first name. I was extremely impressed with that. Let me add that I have had 8 joint replacements plus many other hospitalizations unfortunately and I have never had a physican do that. There could not immediately solve my issues but gave me prescriptions that should do the job in a few days. I would not hesitate to go back for any issue I had that could be handled in a smaller hospital environment. I cannot say enough nice things about how I was treated and my case handled. I am absolutely partial to THR and this was no exception.

They also provided all kinds of snacks, coffee, sodas, water, hot chocolate in the lobby for anyone waiting on someone having a procedure. The place was extremely clean. Couldn't recommend enough.
