My elderly mother never has a bad word to say about anybody but when she complained about one of…read morethe 'caregivers' I knew something must not be right. Her husband also told me she didn't like her. I observed the woman and watched her poor interaction with my mother, saw her reading texts while my mom tried to put on her tight compression hose herself.... so much more...I asked my mom's husband if he would like me to contact Assisting Hands Ft. Worth West to ask if we could please have a different caregiver. He said yes. The woman immediately went off on me on the phone...telling me we couldn't change caregivers, that she was already assigned to my mom and that if this was a problem she would have to call for an investigation!!! I was already paying for the majority of my mother's care and even offered to pay to have the other woman reassigned..It was an awful conversation and this woman was very unprofessional and mean. The following morning it was as if she was Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde. She called me back and told me she would change caregivers..as if she was doing me a favor. I later learned this was part of her personality and that she is even worse in her communication with the employees.

We found listing for Hand in Home Care thru google. We called and Ms. Burrows spoke with us and came out and met with our family asks us what we needed not told us . The caregivers have all been wonderful and dad looks forward to seeing them. i would recommend her company to any one who needs care for a family member. They helped with care for dad stuff around the house even picked up some things we didnt have the time to go get.

They overcharge and can't schedule anything and keep their scheduling straight. I tried to schedule with the office in Southlake,TX, but they scheduled me for Houston. Ok, that's only 5 hrs away. Then finally got rescheduled for Irving. In addition, it only took 4 months to get something scheduled in the first place. In addition, they scheduled me for a day that the clinic wasn't even open. And did I mention that they called and texted me every day for nearly 2 months? And they still couldn't get it right. Go somewhere else if you want to do business with a credible company. Oh, and the first three doctors I scheduled with quit the company.
