I've been going off and on to Tips and Toes for years. I can tell you now, this will be my last time. I went in asking for a Gel X set. I wanted decently short, almond shaped nails and I had asked for a sort of "aura" ombré look. I had to constantly remind the stylist what I wanted and she didn't put any nude polish under the colored powder so it was completely see through. The nails were bumpy around the edges, not at all the shape and length I asked for, and she completely overcharged me. I'm pretty disappointed because I typically rave to my friends about their service and overall quality of work. I will be going to another salon to fix these asap. read more

Tips and toes is my go-to nail salon in Lincoln. I have been coming here on and off for years. Facility is always very clean and well decorated. They always have a plethora of staff working and even if you don't make an appointment, you can usually just walk-in. Pedicures never feel rushed and they take the time to ensure the services received are quality or if mistakes are made they make sure to correct them. I usually get the herbal pedicure where you pick a scent and includes the hot stone massage. Prices are pretty reasonable and on-par with other places in town ($45-$50). read more

Aggressively shoving and pulling my hands and complaining about working on a Sunday throughout my appointment. I wasn't going to write a review until another worker next to me (Kay) was being rude to a child getting her nails done. I have never had an experience like this at a nail salon before. Got called back after waiting for some time and then they said they messed up and it wasn't my turn waited a while longer. Hailey took me back and then wanted me to choose my color immediately and didn't want me to look while she was prepping one hand. she was rushing and pushing my hands around during the entirety of the manicure. the finish job is fairly horrible with color around the skin beside my nails and chunks that should have been filed on the under part of the nail. They were busy so I get it but then to top it off they brought a lady back and the person coordinating scheduling said, "this one is a pill" and they proceeded to make comments about her that seemed unprofessional. (in fairness, she was rude to them first it seemed). I came here because it was recommended by two loved ones but after coming here twice I've decided I won't return. read more

We came here for a wedding party nail day. My sister-in-law reserved the party room and we all got pedicures in that area. Then they had us go out front for nails. I really enjoyed this place. It was really pretty. They require everyone to wear masks. They have sanitizer and plexiglass at each nail station. I got a herbal pedicure with a design and dip polish. They did a wonderful job with the pedicure and cut my nails short like I prefer them. Only $75 and I had the design on my toes. Way cheaper than Georgia! read more

The nail tech that serviced me seemed less that pleased or just tired and didn't put in any effort on my nails. The shape was supposed to be square, the corners are rounded. I asked her twice to make them square and she did little to no filing and kept going. The pink base she put under the French is splotchy & there's back gel all the way around most nails. I was getting a pedicure and the lady asked if I wanted callus removal and I agreed. She whipped out a cheese grater and started in. After she was done with one foot I put it in the water and it burned in several places. I looked and I had 4 spots that had open wounds. I said my foot is raw. The next foot she was much more gentle. Four days later and I can't wear a shoe. It is sore, red and swollen. Everything else was great but I am worried about infection. Nor sure I will ever have another pedicure. read more

Went on Saturday to made an appointment for today at 2 pm. I should have paid attention. It is a huge place, like a mass production place. I should not have made an appointment! Yes they were on time for my appointment. I was there to have gel service on my nails. I h //ad my nails done with gel in Texas for tge first time so no much experience with it: The technician removed my existing gel with the electric file. This is a no no and I did not know till I texted my daughter who said they should have gently filed the top of the gell and then wrap them with acetone and whatever is left it is supposed to gently be scrapped off. After that the technician cut my nails and later at home I noticed they were not even! She used a file that was a piece of wood on which file paper had been glued on. Cheap way of makinga file which made the proce ss verry painful. At home I notices that not only the nails are not even but they are raggedy on the sides. Terrrible first time back into the nail salon after 7 years for acrylics by Aimee the nail tech. Told me she's only done nails for a year or so. I had my nails done on a Wednesday. They started lifting the next day & I went back in Monday since I wato ask if they would redo them. My nails were halfway lifted up by Monday. She said "yes, we're busy. Can you come back later at 7pm?" So I did. She pushed the nail drill too hard onto my nails a handful of times. It was a painful experience with me saying ow a bunch & even after my nails hurt when they were on. I went elsewhere to have them removed and my nails are in terrible condition after one time. My friend and I decided to go on a spontaneous trip to get a mani/pedi. While searching through Yelp we found this salon. As we entered I was surprised how packed it was. One of the ladies asked us what we wanted and had us pick a color for our pedis. She walked us over to the pedicure area and showed us our seats. When looking at their menu, they had a variety of options to choose from. It was pretty relaxing after a long day of work! Once our pedis were done it was time for our Manis! My friend and I both got dip nails. The nail tech that I got was super nice and told me about her life in Vietnam and we had just a overall great convo. I forgot her name (oops) but it's def worth going again to find her. She asked me what colors I wanted my nails and the shape. I decided to go somewhat festive and almond or oval shape. As I looked around the salon, I saw they have a big photo of the nail crew which is cool. My nail tech said it was from their Christmas photoshoot! Overall my experience was great. The nail techs that I had did a job well done. One thing to note, the salon is spacious and a great placr if you're bringing in a bridal party. They have a room in the back that you can reserve. After she was done, she went back through every nail to fix any inconsistencies that she found. I felt that was a big deal since I've had some people try to do my nails asap, maybe because I'm a guy. My wife likes her nails. She said she likes how they did 2 coats for her color because some places only do 1 coat. She was very efficient. They have tons of chairs here. About 16 manicure chairs & maybe 16 pedicure chairs. My buff was $12, her light pink #2 was $25. read more

By far this is the best place to go. I went in on a Friday afternoon and was immediately taken back. I had a set of acrylic nails that were far outgrown and instead of listening to me ask for a new set because I thought that would be easier, the technician offered to fix the set that I had in order to save me money. Throughout the service, the technician talk to me about my upcoming plans and made me really comfortable and important. The nails turned out perfect and I couldn't be happier. They were so rushed and rough with my nails. The nails turned out awful. I'm too nice to say anything when they ask if I like them, cause all they do is ask to fix it, and I was ready to be done there. I was there for two hours and was charged $60. I left a previous review last year for 5 stars. Their quality is so hit or miss so I stopped going and started doing my own. I only went because some friends wanted to go. After the guy did the acrylic, he told me to put my hand under the UV light and then disappeared and only returned when another worker noticed me looking around so she called for him. Went in to get acrylics removed and nail technician kept pushing other services on me when I had told her multiple times I was just there to get nails removed. She hurt me multiple times and was rude when I brought it to her attention. She didn't take her time on my nails because other customers walked in to get more services done than me. She didn't even bother removing all the product off my nails and they look horrible and are very sensitive. read more

DO NOT GET LASH EXTENSIONS HERE!!!!!!!!! lash extensions and microblading services are not listed on the website. We don't know for sure if they even HAVE a licenses to do so. My coworker had her lashes done and got glue ON HER EYE. She was in a lot of pain, and could barely keep her eye open. She had to be seen by a eye doctor to have it treated. My coworker then communicated this to the lash technician and was told "if there was glue in your eye then your eye would be glued shut" They proceeded to tell her there was nothing they could do about it until she came in and the "technician" would "take a look". Only an optometrist would have the proper equipment to be able to actually see the glue or treat the problem. Medicated eye drops where needed in this case and these drops can get be very expensive. The chemicals in the glue can cause serious eye injury even blindness in severe cases. After provinding documentation from the eye doctor stating there was glue on the her cornea, she stopped hearing back from them completely. A week and a half later and we are unable to reach anybody to discuss the issue. No refund was given. Her lashes fell off within a week. Still unsure if they are actually licensed by the state. There is no advertising for the services. My friend and others have heard about these services while getting there nails done there. I left a google review and the response was "they must have been busy". We are worried for others going into get their lashes done here. Proceed with caution! Find someone who is licensed, professional, and wont rush through the service. read more

I made an appointment for a french tip pedicure. For starters my pedicure was 5minutes, he barely got any calluses and my nails where filed completely uneven. When it cane time to begin the painting he did not understand that I wanted a thin french tip. Instead he began filing my nails. In the end I ended up with completely white toe nails that were completely uneven and the paint job was horrendous. I have been here a handful of times and this is by far the worst experience I have had. read more

I've gone a few times and every time they are extremely rough and not careful. One time a man who worked there made my finger bleed non stop for 5 or 10 minutes with the electric sander. Another man who works there ripped my previous nails off with another nail and made my fingers hurt very bad and bleed too. They don't care about your nails and charge way too much. I got the Herbal Spa Pedicure with lavender oil and let me say IT WAS THE BEST PEDICURE OF MY LIFE. The chairs they have massaged my back, arms, hips and legs. I have been going to tips and toes for almost a year now and had never had a problem until this last time I went. I asked for dip nails with acrylic tips (which is what I always get) and within the first two days I had three nails break off. I went and got them fixed and then within a couple of more days I had new and some of the fixed ones fall off again. I have never had this happen especially only having my nails done for less than a week and have multiple fall or break off. Really disappointed and not sure if I will go back :( read more
