Just got my nails done by maybe a newbie. Worst job ever! Took over an hour for shellac with previous shellac already off! What length I had is now gone! Also bleeding cuticle! I absolutely love Kim's nails. She has been amazing to my sister and myself for years now. When I bring in a picture she can get it spot on and if you don't like it, they will start over or fix it for free! The facility is smaller but, clean and when it's nice out they'll let in fresh air which I love. Recently I got my first fake nails and she was super gentle and explained everything I needed to know about them and even said she would do a revamp manicure when I we back from vacation. Looking at the prices you think, "o $30 for a shellac manicure. That isn't too bad". Be aware that a design is $7. So I thought ok $37 total. Nope it's was $14 for design because I " have two hands and got a design on 4 fingers total". Very silly to charge double rather than a set 5-7 extra for a design. It was a decent manicure but not for $44. We don't plan on going back. read more

Very rude lady's. Commented on how the nails I wanted were ugly. Scrubbing so hard a nail popped off. Had nails under light for 15-20 minutes and then barley grazed it with a dollar bill and a lot of nail polish came off. Nails are see through. She only put 2 layers. Was angry with me and my friend about the nail polish idea. All in all I would never go there again read more

I had heard that the place was supposed to be one of the best places in Lincoln but when I came here with my mom and sister, they basically waited to do theirs very last after they had already done people's nails that had come in after us. They didn't get their nails done till their water was very cold. The lady's were also rude and rough while doing our toes. Also they were changing their prices left and right throughout the whole visit. My design on one of my toes was also very messed up and they didn't even bother to try and fix it. Kim's nails has a great environment and overall good service. My only problem with it is that I've gotten nail fungus twice from this place. The fungus eventually went away but it was still unpleasant. read more

Kim's is wonderful! I went here four years ago regularly until we moved out of Lincoln. I could never find a place I liked as well. I just moved back to Lincoln and went here today. I haven't been in there in two years and they remembered me as soon as I walked in the door. I got an amazing pedicure and a full set of nails. I went to Kims for the first time to have acrylic nails put on. I had not had acrylic nails for a few years. The technician got out the sander to prepare my nails and I could tell it was getting hot. She ended up giving me "ring of fire" which if no one knows what that is, it is when they go so deep into your nail bed that it burns the skin underneath. My nails were fragile which is why this happened but if you dont know how to use the tool, then dont use the tool. The technician spoke no English which is super annoying, at lease know a few words. I will not go back. read more
