The weekday class time was perfect for our schedule, and the monthly tuition is comparable to other dance studios in the area. Parking was convenient in the nearby structure and only cost me $1.75. Ms. Sarah, the owner, was welcoming and took the time to give us a tour. Our daughter enjoyed the class, and the instructor was kind and did a good job working with the girls. That said, I did research the website beforehand and it is very inviting, but in person the studio felt quite outdated and could benefit from some renovations. A few things that stood out: * The dance floor appeared to be a temporary or makeshift floor and felt uneven in places. * There were no mirrors in the classroom, which I think can be helpful for young dancers learning movements. * The class was closed off from the walkway of the studio by portable curtain dividers * There wasn't a comfortable viewing or waiting area for parents. There were a couple of chairs out in the front entrance of the studio on the sidewalk where a few can stand or sit and watch through the window, and if you stayed inside, because of gaps in the curtains, it was difficult to watch the class without feeling like you were peeking through. One other observation was that a fair amount of class time was spent transitioning from tap shoes to ballet shoes. I understand and appreciate that the instructors encourage the children to become independent by changing their own shoes, but for a class of 3- and 4-year-olds, many needed assistance, and it felt like too much time was spent on shoe changes. Overall, our daughter had fun, which is the most important part, and everyone we interacted with was friendly and welcoming. However, the overall atmosphere felt a bit crowded and dated. With some updates to the facility, I think this dance studio would truly shine. I'm very grateful we had the opportunity to try the free class, and I hope this feedback is helpful as the studio continues its already successful reputation.

From the very first phone call to booking our first session, my friend and I felt completely at ease. We were searching for something recreational for our daughters to enjoy together, and as moms of girls on the spectrum, finding the right environment is so important and not always easy. After a not-so-great experience elsewhere, we were honestly a little nervous... but this studio completely changed everything for us. They went above and beyond right from the start, sending reminders about the tryout, letting us know what to bring, and even offering ballet flats and shoes to borrow so the girls would feel comfortable and included. That level of thoughtfulness meant so much. And then there's Mrs. Paris... truly something magical. She's the perfect balance of firm, professional, and incredibly fun. Her energy is contagious, and you can just feel how much the girls adore her. Unfortunately, I never saw the teacher again as she was replaced with a new teacher the week after I signed my daughter up for class. This new teacher looks miserable every single class. I feel she may not have much experience with toddlers as the class is for 3-5 year olds. Every class, she looks genuinely miserable. Obviously the attention span of 3-5 year olds are short & fleeting but if you can't have the patience to work with toddlers, you shouldn't work with them! My husband was taking my daughter for a few months to class, but I decided to take her last week. I immediately pulled her out after seeing the attitude of the teacher that day with only 3 small toddler girls in the class. She also didn't know my daughter's name after 4 MONTHS of attending class every week. It also felt like the teacher always resorted into a "dance party" when she was over it, and they barely did anything in class. I have put my daughter into a different ballet studio, and it is night and day how the teacher acts towards a much larger class of toddlers. This other studio's teacher was patient, kind, and encouraging to the students. This made me realize that the way the teacher was acting at creation station was not normal & I had to let other parents out there know. I'm glad I'm not the only one who noticed seeing the attitude of the teacher as a different parent wrote a very similar review on Google. The service and lessons feel very impersonal and it was not a good vibe to start lessons. Also, you cannot reschedule your appointment if your child is sick or you cannot attend for a reason. You get a online lesson sent to you, not the one on one you paid for. WAA does explain this to us in the beginning, but at the end, this was one of the many reasons we didn't move forward. If you are looking for violin lessons, look for someone that specializes in only that instrument. We did not get that here.
