First red flag for Dr. Meagan Moore's office should've been that it was pretty difficult to schedule an appointment. On 02Jul2024, I filled out the online new patient appointment request and didn't hear anything from that, so I called in the afternoon and finally was able to speak to someone. Front desk asked for my information and insurance and booked me for an appointment for 22Jul2024. This morning 22Jul2024 (day of appointment), I received two calls from the office stating they were going to cancel my appointment even after I received messages via text to confirm my appointment on 15Jul2024. The experience was very unprofessional as the front desk doesn't know what insurance they accept. They blamed it on the billing department. The appointment was set for 3 weeks and they could've had the courtesy of ensuring everything was good or not because I wasted time waiting, when I could've found a better OBGYN practice that cares about the patients and getting them the care they need. Zeros stars if it was possible! Blessing in disguise as I can't imagine the attention to detail and any concerns I would've had when they couldn't even get insurance right!! read more

We saw Dr. Moore a handful of times before we switched to a different obgyn. Be prepared to wait at least 45 minutes to an hour before you're seen by Dr. Moore. We were never seen on time. My biggest "wow" moment was when there were two-three patients prior to my 9am appointment and Dr. Moore arrived in the office (I.e. with wet hair) at 9am. We were brought into our room at 10 and then had to wait a few more minutes until we were seen by the doctor. Once she comes to your room she only sees you for a few minutes because she's in a rush to get to the other patients. I'm sure she is a great doctor but we didn't care for her lack respect for patients' times. Also, if this is important to you, the ultrasound machine is on the older side and does not produce clear images. read more

We had our first baby Sept 2021 and couldn't have asked for a better experience with Dr. Conner and her team (Mercedes and Lauren). With it being our first we, of course, had a lot of questions. We appreciated all of their patience but also the fact that they were honest and straightforward in what to expect. On delivery day Dr. Conner kept in touch with the delivery nurses and actually arrived earlier than expected to prepare for the final activities. I saw Dr. Moore last year when I was dealing with some health issues and experiencing a lot of pain daily. She was extremely unkind and dismissive of my symptoms, even going as far as to suggest it was in my head/due to anxiety. I felt like I couldn't show any concern or worry regarding my health around her or she would take me less seriously, and no woman should have to feel like that around a health care provider. Thankfully I was able to find another doctor who was compassionate and actually willing to put in the work to help me find answers. If I had listened to Dr. Moore, I never would have gotten better. If you are dealing with issues I would suggest finding a different doctor who is capable of actually finding solutions and shows compassion to their patients. read more

Just had a hysterectomy plus removal of my ovaries and fallopian tubes done by Dr. Moore. I was recommended to this doctor by a family member! From the start of our visits, she has made me feel incredibly welcome. She takes the time to get to know the people she treats and her bedside manner is spectacular. Dr. Moore is a special kind of doctor. You can tell she's in the business of making people feel good about themselves and healthy. Being a member of the queer community, it's difficult to find a Gyno that is respectful. She is that and more. Even though it's less than 24 hours after my surgery, I'm able to get up with no issues and use the restroom. She did a beautiful job! I will continue to go to her in the future as I've been nothing but impressed. If you have PCOS, or Endometriosis, even more of a reason to go to this doctor. I have referred two my closest friends to her as they have these issues they're dealing with. The entire staff is kind and organized! Dr. Moore surrounds herself with very capable people and it's great to see. No one on staff has lost their humanity, which is incredible. If you are transitioning, part of the queer community, or just a person that values being respected by your doctor, make that appointment! You won't be disappointed. This is purely for staffing. I set up my appointment through memorial care at least 6 weeks prior. They said they asked for my insurance, I had my insurance updated on the website- memorial care. 3 hours before my first appointment, they called to say they had to cancel my appointment because they are not in network for my insurance. I missed this call and this voicemail & I went to the appt. I asked what if I did our of network, reception then said that it would be $250 for appointment plus ultrasound and labs. Given our wait time for appt, I would've happily paid for out of pocket but with their disorganization, I decided to look elsewhere. read more

I was referred to Orange Coast OBGYN by one of my patients. I called to make the initial appointment and they told me they don't see anyone until 10 weeks. So we wait about a month for the appointment. Go into the room and spend about 10-15mins with Dr. Conner. She basically told us how she does her appointments and starts going on and on about all these tests we have to do. Initial bloodwork, anatomy scan at 18 weeks, and she presses us into getting genetic testing done. She mentions that 99% of her patients do it, she shows us the brochure and tells us it scans for everything from A-Z basically and when we say we will think about it, she says "you have really nice insurance so it will probably only cost you around $99 so I would do it if I were you". Being first time parents, we just decide to listen to her and do the genetic testing that supposedly would only cost us $99. Word to the wise, this test has cost us HUNDREDS of dollars. Not $99 like she said. My kid is 3 months old and I'm STILL paying it off. Very, very frustrating. Throughout the pregnancy she would ask us every visit where we planned on giving birth, which has always been Hoag. There was never an option to give birth at Orange Coast Memorial and we never said we would think about it. But every time we saw her she made us feel like Hoag was not the way to go and that there was a chance that she wouldn't be able to deliver my baby because in her words "she can't be in two places at once" Why would she advertise on her website and be a provider for Hoag if she feels negative about the hospital and doesn't deliver there often? Anyway, towards the end of the pregnancy, my blood pressure starts to rise and she concludes that I must be induced at 39 weeks, even though I tested negative for pre-eclampsia. She does 2 cervical checks in the last 2 appointments leading up to my induction date, BOTH of which she cannot reach my cervix. That is when I started asking about a c-section, because I knew in my gut something was wrong. She brushed me off and just kept saying to go forward with the induction and to "plan on being there for the long haul. About 24-36 hours." Again, being first time parents we trusted our doctor and listened to what she said. Go in for the induction day, and the nurses are checking me in and they start to notice things wrong with her treatment plan. And that's when another alarm went off, I knew something was wrong. From the start of the induction to the time my son was born it was 42 hours and 3 minutes. Let that sink in. I had a cervical ballon. Pitocin. And I never fully dilated to a 10. I pushed for 6 hours. Endless vomiting from the meds I had been on for almost 2 days. And it took the nurses calling her multiple times to persuade her to come to the hospital. She told the nurse on the phone she wouldn't be able to make it because "she had a surgery in the morning and appointments after that" and that's when I started begging for a new doctor. Being in labor for that long and pushing for that long your body is exhausted. She finally walks in and I'm begging her for a c-section. She convinced me that I needed an episiotomy and a vacuum, even though I said I did not want to be cut in two places if it ended up in c-section. This is when she got frustrated and condescendingly tells me "well everyone tears so you might as well be cut". She got frustrated and took it out on me. That is when I gave up. An episiotomy and 3 failed vacuums, my sons heart rate started to drop, and I ended up in the OR for a c-section. Thank you Dr. Conner for one of the most traumatic birth stories I have ever heard. For putting my body through that much pain before AND after. Because of you, I couldn't hold my son for more than 12 hours after he was born. Because of you, he was ripped from my body in the most traumatic and unnatural way possible. Because of you, I now know I should've trusted my gut and got a new doctor. Thank you for destroying an event in my life that is supposed to be magical and empowering. Instead, I was made to feel like I was disposable. She never came to check on me in the 42 hours leading up to the birth, and she never came back in the 3 days I was there after the birth. Didn't call. Nothing. She never told me how many sutures I had, if my c-section scar had sutures or staples, never told me or my husband how to care for it or anything. She just pulled my baby from me and left. I trusted my gut and got a new doctor. Who was just as mortified as everyone else is who hears my birth story. My new OB checked everything from c-section scar, episiotomy scar, and checked my abdominal muscles for diastasis recti. She answered more questions and spent more time with me than Dr. Conner ever did. If you are a first time parent, listen to your gut. Get yourself a doctor that actually cares about you and your baby, and spends more than 10 minutes with you. read more

Dr. Moore has been my OB for over 15 years and I wish she were my Dr. for ALL of my healthcare needs!! She recently started administering bio identical hormone replacement therapies and has gone above and beyond to help me balance my hormones as I navigate the ever changing ups and downs of menopause. Its so comforting knowing there is somebody I can trust in the medical field, as it has become so difficult with all of the crazy health insurance changes. Alice, her nurse, also deserves high praise. She always follows up with me, keeps me informed of my labs and always welcomes me with a big hug. Dr. Moore's office reminds me of what the true old-fashioned meaning of "doctor" means... when your doctor truly had your best interest in mind. I love Dr Moore! She delivered my first baby and now seeing her with my second pregnancy. I see her almost every visit, except when she is in another delivery (unlike a lot of other OBGYNs who never see their patients). She takes her time with you and is genuinely caring. She is straight to the point and doesn't sugar coat anything, which I like. She covers all her bases and does everything to make sure you and your baby are well taken care of. Dr. Moore is amazing such a smart woman who is not condescending or misleading at all! After years of stomach pain and excruciating cramps we found that I had an ovarian cyst. The process of 2 different ultrasounds from 2 different doctors (she suggested to make sure it wasn't cancerous) with appointments, paperwork, bloodwork, leading up to the surgery was only about a month and a half to 2 months. It's taken me a couple of months to write this review. I was a patient of Dr Moores all of 2022 while pregnant. I did a lot of research trying to find a doctor that focused on direct and attentive patient care, and I was intrigued when I read she even delivered her own patients. This practice consisted of 2 MDs and 2 PAs. Shortly after I started seeing them it shifted to 1 MD, Dr. Moore. My first few visits were fine. I saw their PA at the time and it was decent. I could tell they were in a transition though, and that's when things started to go south. I had asked to schedule more appointments with Dr. Moore, because I wanted to build a relationship with the one delivering my baby. I was told I could do this as I got closer to my due date. This was a bit frustrating, but I was hopeful I could see her towards the end. The struggle started with the MAS. First of all, the medical assistant was not very thorough. There were a few times my Blood Pressure did not record due to machine error, but she would document a random one in my chart. I had been keeping track of mine at home because it was so low. She also would put the wrong weight in for me on several occasions. This was important for me because I had hyperemesis and growth restriction before and wanted to be on top of my weight gain. It led to a complete lack of trust in her assistants. On top of that, I was NEVER asked if I wanted the flu vaccine or the recommended TDAP they are supposed to give in pregnancy. I am aware of what is recommended being in the medical field myself, but found it very off-putting that they were educating patients on these things in the lobby in front of me but did not take the time to do so for me. I soon noticed that Dr. Moore was overbooked. Appointments took way longer, most of the time just sitting in the waiting room. There were a few times I came early and sat while several other people walked in and ahead of me. I was told it was because I needed an ultrasound room, and they only had one. On top of that, there was a ton of construction going on inside the office with a contractor constantly standing around in the office space. It was not very comfortable. When I was finally seen, I felt very rushed. She was in and out within a few minutes, and I felt like I couldn't even ask questions. I will say when I had some complications and decreased movements she was very on top of it with some increased monitoring. Besides that, I felt like another number. I had even talked with my husband at 34 weeks about changing providers, but her assured me it would be best to stick to where my history was known. When it came to delivery, she was minimally involved, at least to my knowledge. I ended up having to go in because of heart rate issues and decreased movements. I will say all of the providers in labor and delivery were wonderful and so caring! They were the ones communicating with her as to what was going on. She gave all orders over the phone and seemed to be rushing my delivery with minimal explanation. The delivery itself was very rushed. I wish she would have given me more of a reason as to why. When she came in the next day to discharge me, she walked one foot in the room, said "Oh you're ready to go home?" and started walking out. No evaluation, no follow up or questions. It was very rude and impersonal to be honest. I think that was the hardest part of it all. I was expecting top notch patient provider relationship and did not get that. To top it off, I received a big bill for office services at the END of my pregnancy. The billing department does not answer and took forever to call me back. The lady I finally spoke with did not make sense and couldn't really tell me why I was getting this bill. I work as an educator in the medical field and am most disappointed in myself for giving them the benefit of the doubt. I most definitely should have changed providers to give myself a better experience. Although I have seen she is a very knowledgeable obstetrician, I would not refer to her office. read more

Dr. Moore is awesome! I was a little nervous at the thought of trying to find an OB for my first pregnancy, but after a coworker recommended her, I thought I would give it a try. Oh my goodness, she was very thorough in every appointment I had with her. She answered and addressed all my concerns throughout my pregnancy and even handled getting us hooked up with a breast pump when the insurance was taking their sweet time after we delivered. Best doctor I have EVER had!!! I have been w/Dr. Conner for all 3 of my pregnancies and her and her office have ALWAYS gone above and beyond to provide care to me and my babies. I love Dr. Conner's office and friendly staff and NP and I ALWAYS recommend this office to everyone I know bc they are the best around! Dr. Conner has the best bed side manner. I literally can not say enough great things about Dr. Conner and her office they are awesome!! You will not be disappointed going here. Dr. Caroline Conner has been great during and after my pregnancy. My baby had his cord wrapped around his neck twice throughout the pregnancy and she was very helpful and supportive emotionally and medically to ensure the safety of our baby. We had bi weekly checkups to ensure baby was okay. During the pregnancy I had gestational diabetes and dr Conner gave great strategies to assist with a diet controlled method in order to ensure the baby was safe. Also, due to the hormones, I developed post-partum depression and she has been assisting with this through 2 week check ups as well as really timely responses when I call over the phone. She is very knowledgeable and helpful throughout the whole process (pre-pregnancy, pregnancy, post-partum). I would highly recommend Dr. Conner to any of my friends. read more

I have been a patient of Dr. Conner's for over 15 years! She is so kind and attentive and makes you feel like family! She always responds to my messages super quick and does not miss any detail. She delivered my son Maverick in 2017 and took very good care us! Throughout the next year she stayed by my side during some time of personal loss. She discovered that I had an eptopic pregnancy and performed emergency surgery immediately. She continued to show me great care as well as emotional support. During my pregnancy with my daughter Maddix she discovered that I needed higher level of care so she sent me to the ICU to be monitored. Dr. Conner personally checked on me throughout my time in the ICU and when she was unable to come due to caring for another patient she sent in Dr. Moore to check in me and make sure I was well taken care of. Ultimately Dr. Conner saw that my case was more high risk and collaborated with a specialty hospital that would have the tools needed for my pregnancy and newly deleloped heart disease and placed me in the highest care possible. After being discharged from the hospital with a new healthy baby girl I went back to Dr. Conner for my postpartum checkup. She knew something was off with me right away and assessed me for PPD. She provided me the best care possible and followed up throughout the next month to make sure the treatment was successful. It has taken me almost 2 years to write this review. I had my third baby via emergency c-section. A c-section that would not have been needed had Dr Connor not wanted to start her weekend. She gave me multiple procedures during my induction to speed up the process. I ended having to have an emergency c-section because they used some time of flushing procedure and it made me start to deliver cord before my daughter. Everything went crazy when they found this out. It was insanely scary and my fiancé and I were in tears. For some reason they put me under and I didn't get to see my daughter when she was born. No one would ever or has ever talked to us specifically about what happened. In fact, Dr Connor's partner (Dr Moore) discharged me less then 48 hours after having an emergency c-section. Way too soon! It was like they just wanted to get me out of hospital before anyone told me anything. Within a few weeks I started bleeding out of my incision and had to go to the ER. I had an infection and abscess. The doctor had to "pack" the wound and it was insanely painful. I went to see Dr Connor and she gave me supplies that was expired and I had to pack my wound for weeks. Once in my after care she packed it but I had to do this all on my own. The last few appointments she was extremely cold to me and never gave us any answer to what happened. The emotional toll this took on me continues to this day. The only compensation she gave us was to not charge us for the c-section. If everything went fine why would she do this? read more
