I cannot recommend Dr. Broad's office enough! From the moment they accepted me as a patient, I was treated with top notch care. I was behind on a few crucial check-ups during my pregnancy due to an issue with my previous doctor from another practice. Dr. Broad and her team expedited everything I needed and stayed on top of everything as we moved forward. In terms of her office staff, everyone was so sweet, helpful and encouraging. They were always warm and welcoming anytime we came in and even knew me by name. Donna Fritz was wonderful and very on top of everything I needed. Every other appointment, my visits would be with Donna and it was always a great experience. As for Dr. Broad, you will not find a better doctor in my opinion. She is so nice, informative, and very supportive. You really feel like you're the only one in the office with her. She doesn't rush you, she takes the time to answer all questions and concerns, and you can tell she truly cares about you as her patient and the growing little one trying to make their way into this world. During Labor and Delivery, she checked in on us throughout the day, was always available for any questions me or the nurses had, and made it a point to be there for the delivery after she had already went home for the day (I had an all day to evening labor at the hospital - 2 am to 8 pm). I truly believe besides the hospital I went to, she made the entire experience from pregnancy to postpartum truly wonderful. If I ever get pregnant again, I will go to no other doctor besides her. She is my doctor for life! Out of my entire experience of being pregnant, being able to go to her office and see everyone is something I will always cherish and miss. :) read more

I began to see Dr Broad about 5 1/2 yrs ago after Dr Agnew retired. She was literally a breath of fresh air during that crazy time (2020/2021), on top of my body beginning mid life changes. Personally we had, and probably still do in some areas, many similar viewpoints. It was not until earlier in 2025 that I really began to question some of the things I was noticing during my visits. Wait times were long no matter how far in advance the appt was booked and, but almost an hour for an appt just to go over results of an ultrasound that could have been handled telephonically. I found out that her staff triple if not quadruple books appts. Maybe not all appt types, but for mine, this was my experience which explained the long wait and they refused to book telephone appt. As many reviewers have stated the same thing, I know its not just me. Found someone else who has been equally as amazing with little to no wait time when I arrive. Medical Records: They will charge you, that seems to be the norm for many offices but don't be fooled! Scans and lab work can be downloaded for FREE from the providers office performing the work. Labcorp, Quest, Memorial Care Imaging, Wave Imaging , UMIH, Breastlink all have a patient portal you can log into and take your results to the new doctor. As far as the care, I was not at issue with the drug therapies suggested, but rather the rest of it noted above. Best of luck to them! read more

I am currently 18 weeks pregnant, and unfortunately, I have yet to actually meet the OB I was assigned to. At this point in my pregnancy, I have become extremely disappointed with both the communication from the office and the overall experience with the staff. Early in my pregnancy, I experienced bleeding and called the nurse line after hours because I was understandably concerned. Instead of providing reassurance or guidance, the nurse immediately assumed I was having a miscarriage. Thankfully, that was not the case, but being told that during an already frightening and vulnerable moment was incredibly upsetting. I was scheduled to see my doctor at my 16-week appointment, but she was called away to deliver a baby, which I completely understand and have no issue with. However, rather than rescheduling me promptly with the doctor, I was brought in to see a nurse solely to check the baby's heartbeat with a Doppler. I was then rescheduled for an 18-week appointment with my doctor. When I arrived for my 18-week appointment, I found out midway through the visit that I wasn't actually seeing the doctor I had been scheduled with. At this point, I still have not met my OB, despite being nearly halfway through my pregnancy. What has been most disappointing is the way the front office staff has handled everything. I have repeatedly felt like I was being given the runaround, with very little communication, empathy, or accountability. There have been multiple instances where staff members have gone back and forth with each other, even in front of me, trying to figure out what the process is supposed to be. As a patient, it is extremely uncomfortable and concerning to watch the staff seemingly disagree or not know what the correct process is. It comes across as disorganized and simply unprofessional. There have been no meaningful apologies or acknowledgment of how frustrating and stressful this experience has been. I have never felt like anyone took a step back to understand what this experience has been like from the patient's perspective. Pregnancy is already an emotional and vulnerable time, and I expected to feel supported, informed, and comfortable with the team caring for me. Instead, I have spent much of the first half of my pregnancy feeling frustrated and uncertain about my care. I specifically chose this practice because I really wanted Dr. Broad to be my OB, but after this experience, I have unfortunately lost the confidence and comfort I need to continue with this office. I am now nearly halfway through my pregnancy and am looking for a new OB. I hope the office takes this feedback seriously. Patients deserve clear communication, compassion, professionalism, and to feel confident that their care is being handled with the attention and empathy that pregnancy requires. read more

I have tried a handful of OB's in Orange County and never found one I felt good about until Dr Broad's group. They have very friendly staff, easy to schedule apts, and Dr Broad and her PA are both really amazing. Not only are they very knowledgeable but they also both had really great bedside manner, were very gentle with paps and actually seemed quite genuine and caring about their patients. It's been almost a year and I always think about how great my delivery experience was with Dr Broad! I'm so happy I went to her for my pregnancy (more babies to come) Every check up was attentive and we did all the scans and blood checks necessary to make sure everything was normal. I can not recommend Dr. Broad enough! For years, I was told that I would never conceive naturally and would have to do fertility treatment. Dr Broad was the first doctor who listened to me and gave me a natural approach to reverse PCOS and have kids naturally. First and last visit. Unbelievable care here and not in a good way. Appt was at 230p and didnt get seen till after 330p. No updates on how much longer it would be just made to sit in a hot room for an hour. Dr Donna had the audacity to blame previous patients for her running behind, if thats the case then spread your appt times out further. Complete disregard for patient time but the cherry on top when I told her it was unacceptable to wait over an hour she said we were free to look for another obgyn. Wow. Thank you so much Dr. Donna for ruining what should have been a great first experience for my wife and I. We will definitely keep your suggestion in mind and look for a different obgyn. My husband and I had been trying to get pregnant on our own for years, and when I came to Dr. Broad, she guided us with her knowledge, compassion, and natural fertility methods. With her care and advice, we were able to conceive naturally--without needing to go through a fertility clinic or IVF. Throughout my entire pregnancy, Dr. Broad and her amazing staff treated us with kindness and support every step of the way. I truly felt like part of their family. I rarely write reviews, but I don't want anyone else to go through what I experienced. This review is not for Dr. Broad personally, as I never met with her, but for the office staff, NP, and ultrasound tech. During my first pregnancy, I was abruptly told by the ultrasound tech that there was no heartbeat and that I was miscarrying, in a very rushed and insensitive manner. What followed was weeks of poor communication, delayed lab results, unanswered calls and portal messages, and lack of guidance during an extremely emotional time. After being told my only option was medication because a D&C would take weeks, the medication failed, and no one returned my calls when I asked what to do next. I sought a second opinion, which confirmed retained tissue and recommended a D&C immediately. This doctor said they would have done one weeks ago. Despite repeated attempts to reach the office, I received no response. I ultimately ended up in the ER with symptoms of infection/pain and had to find another doctor to perform a D&C. I didn't hear back from Dr. Broad's office until after the procedure, through the portal telling me to take another dose of medication (a week after I initially messaged about the medication failing). This entire process went on for weeks. I miscarried at 6 weeks and was not able to get help until 10 weeks. The lack of communication and urgency was unacceptable, especially given the emotional and physical risks involved. As a nurse, I've seen a lot in healthcare, and this experience left me feeling helpless and unheard. I would not recommend this practice. read more

Called an made an appointment and they called me today to cancel seeing me. (Mind you day of, two hours before I should be seen) I want to confirm pregnancy and to make sure I know what to do and what not to do so I don't lose this pregnancy. My health journey started in 2019 when I started to feel extremely fatigued, brain fog and other symptoms to the point I was noticing it was hard to function at work. I thought I was burnt out so I just kept going. Fast forward to 2024 my right shoulder started to freeze up (which I now know it was frozen shoulder) that I could no longer move it and went to the ER which helped the pain but not the symptoms. The previous symptoms also got worse I couldn't even get out of bed. My friend had told me to consider looking into someone who specializes in HRT. I was blessed to have found Dr. Broad! When I first got there, my labs reflected how extremely low I was in my hormones. She started me on a dosage I was comfortable with and over time adjusted it along the way. I'm feeling so much better that I recently started back to exercising like I used to which was a shock. Whereas I couldn't all those years because I felt unwell. Her physician fees are well worth it for her time spent. This includes communication whenever I call for help, going over my labs which she's extremely thorough to give me understanding where my health is at, looking at solutions to address my concerns during visits and her knowledge on HRT is outstanding. I would not recommend anyone to this office, ever. Save yourself hours of your life you can't get back. Please read this review if you are considering choosing this office for your pregnancy care. Especially if it's your first. My experience today was beyond words. This is my first pregnancy and my very first appointment with a provider. If you've been pregnant you know that 8 week waiting window before you can see a doctor is torture. All you want to know is everything's okay and where it needs to be. I show up today for a 2:45 appointment. I sit in the small cramped waiting room for 30 minutes before being called in. My husband and I sit in a room and someone comes and takes my blood pressure and weight. Then..... NOTHING. 30 more minutes go by and they tell me to go back to the waiting room so I can get in line for the ultrasound machine. Okay? We're already an hour in and more waiting. 45 more minutes sitting in the cramped waiting room (standing room only at times) while sick people cough and sneeze all over. They eventually had to ask husbands to leave bc there was not enough waiting room. At this point I've been in this office for an hour and 45 minutes without anything but my weight and blood pressure taken. I'm extremely anxious to get checked out and no one cares at all. From the second I stepped foot in this place I knew that vibe was off and then all of this just confirmed it. I stepped in the hallway to call another doctor and try to get another appointment asap since I already knew this office was not for me. While I'm in the hallway they finally call me in for the ultrasound. 2 hours after my appointment time. They take me to the ultrasound room. This is the first time I'm speaking to anyone about my pregnancy and the lady is cold and very mechanical. I see a dark spot on the screen and have to ask her - is that my baby?!. It was, she was very dry and not once did she explain what I was looking at, no reassurance that things were okay. Nothing. Then the heartbeat. YOU GUYS this is such a major moment. It was ruined at this office. She recorded maybe 5-6 heartbeats and didn't say a word. I said WAS THAT THE HEARTBEAT?! She says yes. That's it. This is the first time hearing my babies heartbeat and this woman acted like she was changing the oil in my car. Zero warmth or emotion. It was terrible. She continues taking pictures with the machine and not telling me what anything is just eager to get me out. Mind you I was all alone bc my husband couldn't stay for two hours and had to get back to work. The absolute worst experience. Truly. I don't wish this on anyone. Once she's done she tells me to go sit in the waiting room AGAIN to wait for the doctor. I sat there for 5 minutes and they called two other patients in. I got up walked to the receptionist and told her I'm leaving and will be seeking care elsewhere. I left without any medical counseling whatsoever. This was my very first appointment with my very first pregnancy and I feel robbed of the joy I was meant to feel today. I have never had such a terrible experience with any physician ever, I have no idea how this place has any decent reviews on here. I never spoke or saw an actual doctor or midwife in over two hours. I would never ever go back to this office and I recommend you don't either. I feel robbed of these special moment. I will be seeing another doctor on Wednesday. At least I know my baby is okay in there for now. Also a side note is that I found it extremely tacky for them to have a huge banner about medical weight loss and semiglutide in an office full of pregnant women. It seems like this office is more concerned with money grabs, over-scheduling, and whatever else that can do to make money rather than actually caring about their patients. Dr. Broad and her staff have been so wonderful from the very beginning. The receptionist and MA are so sweet. Sometimes I'm not able to get through on the phone because of the automated system, but I always receive a response via phone or email within a 24 hour period which is so appreciated! My husband and I have been trying to conceive for over a year now. I had my first consultation with Dr. Broad at 6 months of trying to conceive and she was so kind, warm, and easy to talk to. She immediately was willing to order labs/tests and gave me recommendation on natural ways to help boost my and my husband's fertility, including vitamins and supplements. I appreciate that she takes her time with us every time we speak and is so willing to answer any of our questions. She explained different treatment options without being pushy and has only been encouraging, which is what I love most about her care. Two days later and I still cannot get a prescription filled because the office will not respond to the pharmacy's inquiry regarding a generic/alternative med, as my insurance does not cover the one prescribed. I have called multiple times and left multiple messages on their 'pharmacy line' and I have not been able to resolve this issue. No one ever calls back. Beyond frustrating for what should be such a routine visit, I could not imagine going here for any serious health issues. I would not recommend, please go elsewhere. read more

Second of all my condition is serious so they sent me to Quest to get a professional ultrasound because there the assistant doctor told me she is not a professional. What kind of response is that! So after going to quest that "professional" ultra sound woman told me she was sorry she didn't see anything so she scared me and I didn't go back to dr broad!
