Then I found Lee's, and everything changed. Justin walked me through everything--weight sizes, rod types, bait selection--all in a way that was clear, approachable, and perfect for a beginner like me. Starting something new like this can be overwhelming and intimidating, but Justin made it incredibly digestible. He's patient, friendly, and knowledgeable as heck. On top of that, he gave me some great tips on local fishing spots and some DIY tricks that work for him. The prices are super reasonable too--much better than big-name stores like Dick's or even Sierra. If you're new to fishing or looking for quality gear and advice, you can't go wrong with Lee's. He also has these adorable little Dachshunds that hang around sometimes. Highly recommended!

The owner is always ready for a chat and to offer some advice on whats biting and what he recommends. The selection alone keeps me coming back here pretty frequently even though a bait and tackle store is across the street from my house. This store is a bit on the pricier side compared to the other stores close by near by but its certainly the most stocked and one of the largest you will find. I love that this place also sells products and gear that I have never seen before at other tackle shops and that always peaks my curiosity for another visit.
