I wish Icould give NO STARS!! STAY AWAY!!!!!! I should have known when I pulled in when none of the service men even knew where to put Coolant in a BMW that was a RED FLAG but I was Stranded and could do Nothing else. :( MY friend who knows cars warned me that some BMWs are the WORST and this one is THAT BMW Trust me you have been Warned! My car sat for over a week while I racked up $500 in car rental from the only game in town there and when I would call my service guy CHRIS ROUSHINKO (Chris RouSTINKO more like it) was like I was a Bother asking why it was taking so long??? A WEEEEEK??? THEN they admited they had done nothing 6 days into IT!! But still I had no where else to go my car broke down on way upstate in middle of No where. When it was finally done they replaced parts I told them had been done just 2 months ago! !!!! they charged me over $1000 for the work that was done either 2 months ago or just a year ago and would have charged me more had I not insisted on getting the parts back! They are CROOKS especially the service guy CHRIS ROUSHINKO!!! (Rostinko!!)He promised me that the parts and service were covered for 2 yrs at any BMW well the worst was yet to come. I made it 45 min home THANK GOD because the coolant light came on again...when I called Chris ROUSHINKO (Rostinkkkooo) he assured me take it to my local BMW maybe they did not bleed the lines and if it was their fault they would cover it. I got the Portchester BMW by driving 4 blocks stopping for 15 min as my car would have OVER HEATED I could tell their was NO COOLANT!! The fantastic service guy at Port Chester BMW ARTURO CIANI opened the hood and low and behold one of the hoses they "fixed" and "replaced" was NOT EVEN ATTACHED!!!! IT WAS JUST HANGING THERE LETTING ALL MY COOLANT OUT!!!! talk about faulity dangerous workman ship!! THE CAR COULD HAVE OVER HEATED I COULD HAVE BEEN IN ACCIDENT OR STRANDED somewhere!!Then he said they also put your BELTS back WRONG AS WELLL!! I am taking them to Small Claims this is the WORST service I have ever seen!! You get ripped off THEN they make your car MORE DANGEROUS than when you brought it in!!! I WILL NEVER EVER GO TO OCBMW AGAIN. I've leased from there before without any issues. This last time was a total disappointment. I leased an X1 and it was an absolute wonderful vehicle. The vehicle wasn't the issue. I was almost to the end of my lease I decided to bring the vehicle in for service and have them check it all out to make sure everything was good. Which it was. The service department was always wonderful. So i decided after the service I then thought I would just turn in the vehicle a little earlier than my leases end. I then proceeded to take all the photos inside and out of the vehicle as for my proof of the condition that I left the vehicle in at the end of my lease. Let me just back up a minute before I proceed with this review. So knowing my lease was going to be ending I called the sales girl who leased us this vehicle. MARYKATE. I told her that I was over mileage and asked if I leased another BMW after this lease was up if I would have to still pay the over mileage. She stated "Unfortunately YES". So before my lease was up I leased an ACURA RDX from FRIENDLY ACURA. I ended up talking to the sales manager at OCBMW about having to pay over mileage for the lease even if I released another BMW. She stated to me that WASNT TRUE. BUT WAIT THATS NOT IT. After the lease was turned in a month earlier than I was suppose to return it. I then get a letter stating I owe all this money for a broken fog light, which wasn't broken, the over mileage, which I understand that because it was. Then little chip marks on the front hood which can't be helped when you driving down a highway and things do hit the front of your vehicle. Normal wear and tear. Something you can't control. I spoke to them and told them I have all the pictures of the car and had a lot amount they were charging me reduced. But trying to charge for things that weren't there. AGAIN I WILL NEVER GO BACK TO OCBMW. NEXT TIME I WILL GO TO RAY CATENA. He carries all the luxury cars. THEY HAVE EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE. Very upset with the this last lease. First they need to have sales people who are knowledgeable or if they don't know they should ask their manager. I would have stayed with OCBMW if they did right by me. Orange County BMW has serviced all our BMW's since 2004. The service advisors go out of their way to make sure you are satisfied. They will pick you up and drop you off if you live in the local area. They offer free car for the day with an appointment. I have had several circumstances when I was driving that I got a flat tire and they took my car in right away. Stay Away!! Stickers and pricing do not match. Not willing to take responsibility for their mistakes. Came in all the way from NYC and after spending nearly 2.5 hours at the dealership (5.5 hours overall from NYC and back) when we narrowed down on the car, which had a huge sticker on windscreen and both front and back plates which said Certified Pre-Owned (CPO), we were told it is NOT CPO. Verbally we had earlier asked the Sales Exec (Giovanni), about any accidents / Carfax report, he said CPO cars are clean. When finalizing with the manager (Sunny) he totally backed-off and though he apologized(lip service), he was not apologetic at all. He said we would need to pay upward of $3000 for certification. Shouldn't they be taking responsibility for their mistakes ? If labor has a cost and time, what about customer's time ? read more

I just had a great buying experience at Orange County BMW. I will go back there. I've bought or leased about 15 new cars in other states. Only 2 of my prior dealers were great and OC is the third. I found them when I tried TrueCar, where you put in the car you want and dealers make you discounted offers and a refreshing promise of transparency. OC was straight about it and super helpful from start to finish. None of the slippery tricks or keeping you waiting all day or "I don't know if I can get my manager to go for it", etc.; all the make-you-feel-bad stuff that so many dealers do, including the two other eastern BMW dealers I went to first. The first was my local dealer, who has been great for service but I didn't like the sales feeling at all. The second was the first to contact me from TrueCar but didn't honor the transparency commitment when I went there. Francine Barbieri is a great pleasure to work with, finding me the right car and going through everything. My car was so beautifully detailed when I picked it up on a busy Saturday that people in the showroom kept going outside to check it out. read more

Entire OCBMW service department is a bunch of SCAMMERS and LIARS ESPECIALLY PAUL THE SERVICE DEPARTMENT MANAGER. Brought my car in for a dent removal that was supposed to be fixed months ago but unfortunately it wasn't because whatever shop they sent the car to did an extremely poor job. So here I am dropping the car off, 2 hours later I get a call from PAUL the Service department manager asking me if I hit some sort of pothole? Obviously not. Now he's telling me my car needs $11k worth of work and they won't cover it. Mind you I have an extended maintenance warranty that I bought with the car through them in early December 2019. He writes me up the list of some parts ranging from $100- $300 & then I notice there is ONE part on the list costing almost $8k! Come to find out that exact part is only just over $300 OEM from bmw. PAUL is an absolute scam artist along with everyone else in the service department. Always brought my car in for service monthly and now this? ABSOLUTELY NOT, you've just lost a loyal customer. I only have had warranty service and routine oil changes. My appointments were easy to get, although occasionally the service extension was too busy to promptly pick up. I was always provided with a loaner as needed if they were given a one week notice . Can't talk about charges since I was never charged for warranty work which was performed without a glitch.Waiting area was clean and comfortable .Service was helpful, courteous . efficient and cooperative. read more

Great businesses start by employing great people. Nick in their service center is a superstar. My vehicle broke down Friday late afternoon, July 3rd. I had never heard of Orange BMW but when I called Nick offered to stay after hours to wait for the tow truck to bring me in. He arranged to also have a tech stay to repair my car and get me back on the road. Had Nick not offered to stay late I would have been stranded hours from my home on the holiday weekend. I purchased a used 2008 328i Convertible (app. 49k miles) and was told that the car was in perfect condition and not requiring any immediate repairs. I additionally requested that a service review be done and provide me with ANY future issues and or maintenance replacement/repairs. I was told NOTHING is needed twice! After receiving the vehicle, I had it looked at by my local BMW dealer (Otto's BMW) and to my surprise, over $3800 in repairs are needed. Oil leaks from the valve cover (... tech found valve cover gasket, eccentric seal, and valvetronic motor seal gaskets are all leaking. recommend to replace valve cover which will include all of the gaskets) and front studs damage (..tech found the r/f strut is leaking, recommend to replace both struts at the same time). When I contacted both the sales advisor and her sales manager, I was told only that only safety and inspection items are corrected and NOT any other issues. I explained that I asked for all complete service review and was told no issues were found and no list was provided. No help! He did offer to "back date a warranty service contract" and for me to wait a week or so before filing a claim; it would only cost me $3,500..... LOL read more

This is my first experience with this dealership/service. I've driven a Mercedes for 10 years and bought my brand new BMW in February. I recently had a flat tire- I'd add air, it would go flat. I called to make an appointment for service at the place I bought my car. Was told booked for two weeks, sorry. I was stunned. Got off phone, considered options. Called back, same answer. I told them I could drop it off, would need a loaner (I live/work 30 miles north). NOPE, those are only for scheduled Service. Hmmmmm. I asked to speak to manager- all of a sudden they tried to accommodate me. Told me if I could get my car there in 30 minutes, they'd drive me home. I asked how I was going to get my car back. My problem I was told, that was the policy. I asked to speak to the general manager. Was transferred to the Service Manager voicemail. Left message- never heard back. Amazing. Mercedes would've picked up my car, fix my tire and return it. Ironically, I chose the BMW because "service" was included (and I understand tires are outside of that). As soon as I can, I will get rid of this car and drive right next door to new Mercedes dealer. Orange County BMW has serious customer service/satisfaction issues. Very very disappointed read more

I recently had my car serviced at this dealer. I have come to the conclusion that every time within the last three years that I have brought car here I am being conned to spend far more money to repair the car than is necessary. I am struck by the level of conspicuous greed and disingenuousness that clouds this car dealer. I like BMWs; I have an X5. However, this dealer, especially, has led me to reconsider ever owning a BMW again. This is unfortunate because BMW vehicles tend to be sturdy and agile but presently their service departments seem only to be concerned about making a profit. read more

The sales department does a lot of promising and then backtracks when it's time to deliver. The service department has one goal - profit. Even if a car comes with a full service warranty, they find excuses to not pay for repairs. (I've also spent 3 hours waiting on a "free" oil change because they don't give loaners for small stuff.) When you ask sales to help, they say "yes" and then hope you go away. I am so turned off by the dealership I think I'm done with the brand as well. I have leased 4 vehicles from this OCBMW - because they always offered the best price. There were little problems with each vehicle but eventually, things got fixed. Well, I've finally had enough. Sadly, I have another 2 years on my 428 - the biggest disappointment ever!!! I should have gone to Tenafly and now I'm living with the results. read more

I just got my 2008 BMW M3 back from Orange County BMW and I feel completely robbed and Im left feeling full regret.... it started November 1, 2016 I dropped my car off for a small oil leak I got a phone call the next day informing me that they found out what was wrong and they were going to fix the problem that my warranty company covered it which was the oil filter housing gasket and I was left with a small balance of $279. Than I was told that the valve cover gaskets that where brand new with New valve covers which were purchased from authorized BMW Parts dealer that were recently replaced in June 2016 were no good..I really found that hard to believe but I figured they knew what they were doing so I said go ahead and do the work but send me pictures so I can send to company that I got the valve covers from and get refunded. They sent me the pictures and all it was old oil that was not cleaned off when the valve covers where done but it was to late they already started doing work the advisor said. Than I got a phone call from advisor informing me that my total would be $679 what a jump from $279 I couldn't believe my ears but what I'm I to do. A week went by with out hearing a word from BMW. I finally got a phone call saying my car was ready to be picked up. Only to get there today 11/12/16 to find out my total is now $895.98 I felt so discussed and completely taken advantage of. To add insult to injury I was told that they threw in a free oil filter cover like they were doing me a favor than come to find out I was charged for it. It Doesnt end there I inspected my car closely only to find a gouge on my Passanger front tire. and hardly no oil in the car it was so low that it made oil light come on. I will never do business with orange county bmw or ever refer anybody to them. I wouldn't want anybody to feel the way I feel. read more

I have always had a great experience with the service department. However most of my cars have been in for routine servicing. Until recently the sales department had been without complaint. Over the years I have purchased 3 BMW's....2008 X-3, 2010 X-3 and a 2010 328i coupe. So far so good until last Saturday. The sales department had been looking for a preowned X-3 2012 or 2013 for my wife to replace the 2010 X-3. I had kept an eye on www.BMWUSA website for a preowned as well. Finally decided to visit Prestige BMW in Mahwah, NJ where I found a 2013 X-3 with all the "bells and whistles" that we wanted. While we were admiring the X-3, Prestige did a CarFax search on our 2010 X-3 only to find that it had a history of a rear end accident. We had purchased this 2010 vehicle as a fleet owned, unregistered demo in July of 2010. CarFax had an accident reported in April 2010. We were never told by Orange County BMW that there was an accident history and since it was being purchased as new with 7,000 miles, we never thought of asking. You would think that as good customers, Orange County BMW and the sales gal we dealt with would have been "up front" with this before we purchased the car. They were dishonest with us and we are very disappointed. Lesson learned! read more

In all my years of this car dealer bull this place is the worst!!! I own out right 3 BMW's and 1 Audi and as a mechanic have never seen outright lying as OCBMW!!! I brought my 09 328 xdrive I for a battery was told I needed brakes , filters , sensors and much more even before my car was looked at... Really... When the car was picked up I was told I needed more work to be done ... Again, Really???? What the ----. $700 later for what they called diagnostic and labor . WHAT BULL!!! Shame on me a new BMW battery retail is $300. I was in the market for a new Z4 and a 428 for my daughter but not now. Maybe an Audi TT and an a5 would be better. I know Audi service is better! My lesson was cheap, don't make an expensive one. AVOID this place at all cost and if you already have a bemmer take it to Prestige!!!! read more

My 750 LI. ( original list was 108,000). A light come on and I call them, they have no loaner. The estimate is for 560 including a battery for my key.. They call me later that the car is under recall and I have to wait 2 more days to get the part for the recall. lalala... SIX DAYS later , no loaner, I get a ride there and its now 2600 , the engine light is still on and that light will now cost and additional 2200. Got in the car so disgusted , the light is still on that says I have an abs brake problem and oh, yes, no battery for my key. They want 5800 to fix my car with an original estimate of 560. NEVER GO BACK there!! I have been calling and asking for a manager or someone to call me back but no response after 4 phone calls today I decided to write a review. I see they only respond to nice reviews. Update: So Craig finally calls back and said that after a week of having this car they didn't get a the light off and I refused to pay the extra 2200 to get the light off.( I had paid the 2600 yesterday! ) He said there is nothing they can do. I can google and yelp social media with bad reviews and they will have to answer to the Attorney General with my complaint. Take your time. I have to trade in this car today for half its value because of this mess. I will keep a running tab of how much this mess has cost me dealing with this horrible company. read more

Very Very poor service. I have leased a BMW X5 2 1/2 years ago It has been in the shop about 10 or 11 times with problems. I live in yonkers 45 miles away and they give me a loaner but my problem is that the car has allot of problems that is their responsibility yet they started charging me for gas. I should be getting credit for the miles (90 mile round trip and gas) each time their car fails to perform as promised by BMW, also front end needed to be replaced or repaired twice within 30k miles. after this work they failed to realign the wheels which caused tires to wear unevenly and they expect me to pay for new tires. Totally unfair. The leased me a lemon that breaks down too often and charge me for it. Also to add pain to this the service manager told me its normal to have a new car in the shop 3 to 4 times a year. i doubt his sales men would tell any customer that. I purchased a brand new bmw and after a month I realized that the color was off on my door panel. The edge of the door must have been damaged and when they repainted the area they didnt repaint the whole door they just repainted the damaged area. So now the color does not match. They waxed the area so that a month later I noticed the damage. Now I have a brand new car with 2 different colors of white on it. They are untrustworthy do not buy from them! read more

Predatory leasing. Horrible experience today, My cousin needed a car pretty quickly and they were able to make the deal happen in 3 hours start to finish, car inspected and detailed which I commend and therefore give a free star. However, my cousin needed a car and had less than stellar credit, he was approved at a lower tier which automatically meant higher payment but they would not share the details of how much the payment would be or how much the car was sold for. The finance manager was rushing to sign through the paperwork. When I asked what the interest (money factor as it was a lease) he brushed me off and asked if I was an accountant. I asked what the NY return or rescind policy was and he said absolutely none and proceeded to ask me if I was a lawyer, and that he is related to one and knows the rules. I asked if I could see the deal on the screen before accepting to sign, he said "You will see it when you get your contract" When we get the contract, they sold him the car at FULL MSRP!. No discount whatsoever on a basic 330 from the lot. I advised my cousin not to take the deal but he needed a car because he is leaving to Florida tonight. I understand it was rushed, but they took advantage of the fact that he would sign off on anything they threw at him and proceeded to sell the car at full price when I have bought 5 BMW's and am able to get near invoice pricing on almost any car. When you go to this dealer, be careful, take your time, demand the see the deal before you sit down with the finance manager where he is pressuring you to sign and being really nasty to top it off. read more

I did NOT feel rushed or pushed to get a car. I personally worked with Mario, Mario is great at what he does and he found me exactly what I wanted for how much I wanted to pay. I leased an X 5 for my business in January and asked that they transfer my commercial plates from my trade in. They did not and gave me regular plates and told me that i could transfer the commercial plates as soon as dmv processed the registration. I was clear with them that i Needed the commercial plates for my construction business in order to park outside my jobs in the city. it turns out that BMW will not allow commercial plates on leased vehicles. I contacted Sammi ,the manager. He did not bother to return my calls.I then went to see him and he promised me it would be taken care of as soon as the Title was issued. As soon as the title was issued they said there was a problem that I handed my old plates back which is required by NY state law and there was nothing they could do and was my own fault. BMW financial says I'm responsible to pay for the entire lease. I then contacted John Stern , one of the owners, who promised me he would take care of the problem. As of now , over 3 months since I took possession of the vehicle neither John Stern , Sammi or BMW are willing to step up to the plate . I'm disgusted by the way Ive been treated and My only recourse is to post my complaints and never buy a BMW again. read more
