They have great programs in Anatomy, Law Enforcement, Fire Academy, and many others. I just named a few. I never attended here, but I have other friends that have attended here. Nice big campus too. I switched from SCC to another school in another state, I'm working on my 225s now and just got hired full time at a reporting agency (only took me 6 months). I attribute my success to my new school that taught me to right SHORT and brief on the fly. Who knows how much longer I'd be in school if I stayed here. The fact that it takes so much dedication to even reach 200, and then this school will fail you for stupid punctuation errors that don't even matter in the real world is insane. Just a heads up for any frustrated students - there's other ways to become a working reporter than graduating from SCC

This facility won't be as great though without the staff that support it. Seriously, one of the main reasons why I was so eager to come to class every week would be the staff. If y'all see Christian, Mridhulaa, Tyler, Florence, Gabe and or Cole, just know y'all are set! The value they provide will set you up for success so pay close attention to their suggestions. I did the hybrid course route, so if you plan on doing this just know, it's most likely a 10 week course online and in person. Overall a great institute and would recommend to anyone who wants to start their EMT career.

Every class and scenario helped me grow not just as a student, but as a future EMT. I'm especially thankful for Peter Nguyen and Michael Kaduce, who went above and beyond as mentors. Their passion for teaching, attention to detail, and real-world experience made a huge impact on my learning. They genuinely care about their students and the EMS profession and that makes all the difference. If you're thinking about becoming an EMT. Honestly, don't think about it just do it. You'll be learning from great instructors who care deeply about EMS and want to see you succeed. Thank you, Falck Health Institute, for setting the standard high and giving me the knowledge, discipline, and confidence to start my EMT career the right way.

I did however schedule ppd and lactation consult here later. They have group and private lactation consults. You will need a referral from your doctor for the private one and you have to check with your insurance to see if they're covered as the hospital won't check for you. They are very swamped so you get an appointment few weeks ahead of time. I got a call that my appointment was canceled the day that I was supposed to go in but I got a call later and Danielle asked if I wanted to come in and that she would squeeze me in after she did the group classes so I wouldn't have to wait a few more weeks. That was so sweet of her and it brought tears to my eyes. Once I met with her she was so calm, knowledgeable and encouraging. She gave me so much positive energy and great tips to improve my situation. She even typed up the tips for me to take home. She deserves ten stars on her own! She also holds the group classes which I'll try to join. FYI you can get your parking ticket stamped at the assessment center for an hour of validation but you will definitely go over the hour if you're taking a class or have a timed appointment. It's $3 for an hour after that. They take card as well.

I was really upset because I was considering having my baby at this hospital. I decided to sign up for their 1st trimester class. When I pulled up to the building I was really freaked out by how trashed it was. There were even homeless people hanging around outside. I decided to leave and took a tour of the new UCI Maternity Ward instead. It's much fancier, more updated, and cleaner than this assessment center. My advice to St. Joseph's is to update this building ASAP. It is very un-welcoming in appearance.

The growth we've seen in her confidence, strength, and skills has been incredible. What impresses me most is the discipline, organization, and structure they provide while still making it fun for the kids. As a parent, I was initially worried about the demands of competitive cheer at such a young age, but my daughter genuinely loves going to practice and adores her coaches. They have created an environment where the athletes feel supported, encouraged, and excited to learn. Every time we walk through the doors, she is greeted by athletes of all ages and made to feel welcome. It truly feels like a second family. The coaches hold the athletes to a high standard, which is clearly one of the reasons South Coast Cheer has such a successful and winning program, but they also emphasize good sportsmanship, teamwork, and positive energy. The snack bar is a fun bonus for the kids, and everyone from the staff to the athletes has been so kind and welcoming. We are looking forward to our very first competition season with South Coast Cheer and are so grateful to be part of this amazing community. Highly recommend South Coast Cheer to any family considering competitive cheer, especially for beginners who want their child to learn discipline, confidence, and teamwork in a supportive environment.
