I called this business at least 10 times, with 3 answers, and the rest voicemails unanswered. With the three answers, one took my number and said he'd call back with a pick-up time. Didn't happen. The other two were scheduled pick-up times, in which the first didn't happen. The website says they'll pay you $20 for your pick-up. Well, with a freezer, I was told we have to pay them $35 for e-waste disposal. The pick-up happened in the last hour of a 5-hour window. Super Bad Attitude !!!!! Hang up on me !!!! The guy answers the call with attitude from the the get go, asking me to measure the size of the TV and when I told him 36 when I measured the outside and then he told me to measure just the screen, which i did, and told him it's 32, he started getting angry and says: is it 36 or 32? I will charge you $35 if the size is not right. Um, excuse me, are you too dumb to realize you just told me to measure from the outside VS the just screen? Of course there will be size difference. And even if I made a mistake measuring it, so what ? He rudely said, " you know what, we don't even enough make money doing this, so screw it " and then he hung up on me !!?!!! WTH ? What kind of business are they running ? Maybe it's due to lack of intelligence and customer service, they are not making money. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME BECAUSE THEY DEFINITELY WILL! Had an old, dirty but running refrigerator to pick up, he told me his driver would meet me at 3pm didn't happen then said 4pm, no one showed, the told me that he's stuck in traffic.... 5:40 pm said the driver stopped talking to him and he has no idea what happened. I asked if perhaps someone more reliable could come in the morning he said yes and he would call me at 7am....guess what......No call...big surprise!!! I got so lucky that a random guy in a truck saw me and asked about the refrigerator and paid me $230 for it this morning , but how ridiculous and how unprofessional and most likely on meth these scatter brains are please just call a reputable company or go with offer up what a joke. read more

Great service & customer service. I had a working yet old 50" plasma T.V.(with stand),...that are very difficult to sell and almost impossible to even give away! I tried "The Salvation Army," the local Senior Citizen Center," "Habitat for Humanity" & even my own neighbors...and no one was interested. Called the guy on the phone who asked for a picture of the refrigerator and send it thru text. The cost would be $46 to p/u the refrigerator tomorrow since they were going to be in my area. I said fine so I sent my picture of the fridge -- he said to wait 15 minutes and he'd get back to me-- that never happened. I called twice and still no response. In reading other reviews that range from 2 or 3 "great" and the rest mediocre to bad. I guess this is "par" for the course-- so this is bad. Excellent service. Anyone I called to pick up our 60 inch DLP tv said they couldn't do it. They only charged me a very low fee for the paper work but the recycling was free as well as the pick up. Scheduled a pick-up of a Whirlpool dryer. They advertised that they would pay us $20 to pick it up. Called them up. Jeff requested a picture of the dryer. Sent it to him. Apparently it made the cut because he scheduled a pick up for about 5 days later. Texted Jeff the day before to confirm. He confirmed. Told him I put the dryer outside our garage. He texted back that $20 would be under the mat. I was so impressed with his responsiveness. This place is a joke. "truck broke down" for Saturday's pick up, rescheduled for Monday "truck is still broken" on Monday. They PROMISE me they will get the television picked up on Thursday by noon.... they no showed. How does a company such as this stay in business with only 1 truck?! Outstanding experience from initial phone call to pick-up of very large 55" projection t.v.. I had a specific set of circumstances which required specific accommodations and my local disposal service was not able to meet those needs so they gave me the number to Orange E Waste. I just assumed that it was going to cost me an arm and a leg to have this t.v. picked up so you can imagine my shock when it was ONLY $7.00..!! I was further surprised by the fact that this company was able to cover all the accommodations I needed, all encompassed in this one low fee. I was so taken aback that I almost couldn't believe it! On the day of pick-up, everything happened exactly as they said it would, no hassles, just hard work and honesty. The young man, Richard, that picked up the t.v., called me an half hour in advance, just like they said they would and he was polite, kind and personable....impressive in this day and age. Dont need them laughing at the fact that we live upstairs when calling about a large pick up. The website does not indicate anything about NOT being able to do the one job they advertised all over their website. If there are certain instances where they cant pick it up for free, maybe it should be shown somewhere on their website of the options they offer. I had a OLD FLOOR SIZE projector big screen TV that I have been trying to get rid of or recycle for 2 years. Everywhere I called either wanted me to bring it to them (hence I needed it picked up!) or wanted to charge me a ridiculous price for pick up. Even though I read the old reviews on Orange E-Waste, I decided to try them for myself. I called on Monday and spoke to a very professional and friendly gentleman and was scheduled for pick up on Thursday. I was even able to leave it in the driveway for pick up. As I returned home and turned onto my street, I was hoping the TV would not be there due to some unforeseen issue and the TV was gone!!!!. I don't know what happened with the other customers who wrote reviews but my service was EXCELLENT!!! It went exactly as it was supposed to be. The cost was very very low and I'm not going to give it since different circumstances may require different quotes. I have a few other large appliances and I will DEFINITELY contact Orange E-Waste for pick up. THANK YOU Orange E-Waste. The cost was for regulated RECYCLING PAPERWORK. the PICK UP was FREE. read more
