Crappy work is being done here. 2 pairs of optical lenses for existing glasses were ordered. No order form or invoice was ever issued to me. I was told that the order would be ready within 4 business days (due to the need to send one pair to another lab), but ultimately it took 2 weeks to retrieve my glasses at their location. The quality of the work (optical lenses with custom tint) was low. One fixing element of my frame was messed up with, and now looks very different than others. They did not mention to me in advance that they collect sales tax, so they requested me to pay sales tax when I picked up the order. read more

Orange Optical gave me the best glasses I have ever had and I'm so happy with them! I'm a 24/7 glasses wearer and my prescription is very high for my age...I'm really self conscious about the thickness of my lenses and I was able to talk to them about it and they worked their magic to make these the lens thickness look great and not be so noticeable! It took about 5 business days for them to be ready, which is much better than the normal 2+ week wait I've had to deal with before and their pricing was excellent! When COSTCO FAILED, OPTICAL ORANGE PREVAILED!!! Costco has great prices on their lenses ($127.98) all inclusive without a le carting all the upgraded nick nacks. But when you bring your own frame they discourage you from having your prescription fulfilled there. They inform you that there not responsible for loss or damages and it would take 10 Days. They called me on the second day to inform me that they could not (Would Not) fulfill my prescription because it requires a (COLD PRESS) bare in mind this being stated from one of the 4th largest lens manufacturer in the world. (KIRKLAND). In addition to that they return my frames back scratched and scuffed up!!! Every other optometrist out there wanted $600.00 with tax included and it was a 10 day turn around time. The one COSTCO Referred me to wanted $240.00 and it would take them 10 days as well. I was determined to find someone within Orange County for a lot less and fast and sure enough with a little research I found "ORANGE OPTICAL" I stumbled upon their website and called the following Monday to clarify if they catered to the public because their website stated that they were wholesale and that they serviced Optometrist's locally and nationwide. Sure enough the friendly receptionist that answered all my questions including my quote. She gave me the green light to come in. I made it their around 4pm ish right before they closed to place my order. They would've had it ready within the hour or so but I needed the Anti-Reflective coating which required them to send it off to a third party that would add an additional 3-4 days which was a lot better than hearing 10 days. At 11am Wednesday morning I get a call that they are completed!!! They also POLISHED the scuff and scratches out that COSTCO did FREE of CHARGE!!! It was only a $49.00 price difference compared to COSTCO's price but the service and workmanship here at Optical Orange is beyond my expectations for the price compared to those other optometrist's that wanted to hold your frames HOSTAGE for $600.00!!! I would definitely recommend everyone here and never pay RETAIL ever AGAIN!!! Thank you guys ORANGE OPTICAL!!! read more

This has the feel of a small mom-and-pop family-owned place and for the most part it is but it's actually a decent size company they have like 20 employees or so... My point is family-owned businesses you can either get really great service or really poor coming up on the Dynamics in the family and I know this because I work for a family business for many years.... These guys click and make it work one of the things is David's there the guy shows up... Many family-run businesses a lot of times the actual family members are absentees this guy's they're rolling up his sleeves everyday and I know if he's on the case it's a done deal I'll have to bring anything back there's never been any problems everything's on time it's all very chill very smooth lenses take couple of days or so not a big deal if I have something emergency or quick he'll help me out something weird he'll order it for me so for about 10 years now I can only tell you that the guys actually there he actually shows up every day and is making sure that everything runs chill and smooth and you can't ask for more than that in any kind of a supplier especially medical...
