Within my first month there I experienced negativity and attitudes from some of the staff. Management is great and genuinely seems to want to fix issues but the problems are rampant. From staffers being on their cell phones ALL day to impromptu field trips where the kids leave the building and the parents are not notified. As soon as I was able to find an appropriate spot at another PreK program I moved my children. I do want to add that my younger child loved it here and I had fewer issues with those teachers. I recognize that no place will make me 100% happy since I want the best for my children, but this place literally made me worry somedays about where I was leaving my kids. A friend's child who also attended the school said something recently that put it al into prospective for me. He said to his mom, regarding his NEW school "Mommy, i like this place, they don't yell at you here." I'm not saying that either of our kids were saints (lord knows they aren't) but there are better ways to deal with issues.

I had to finally speak with the superintendent, who also seemed very passive about the situation. The teacher was fired but the way they handled it was extremely unprofessional! Well I decided to check this place out after contacting for a tours. The owners, were very friendly and welcomed me to tour the facility. My daughter and I came and we checked it out. We met her teacher for the 2 year old room and I loved her structure of her teaching and her love for what she does. I love all of the staff and they really have pride in what hey do. This is not a large chain daycare so kids don't get lost in all the hustle and bustle, the teachers and owner know all of her kids and love them all. They offer a nice meal and snacks so that is amazing and the offer a very good deal for 6 months which is awesome. I can't give this place enough praise and kiddos for loving my daughter and taking care of her on a daily basis!

Only folks we ever seen was the assistant, Nick, and the assistant director, who always loud and runnin' around in a cape like it's a joke. Wouldn't recommend this center if you serious about where your kids go. Only person who was sweet and consistent was Mrs. Kimberly -- she the only one that acted like she cared.

Chappell San Marco is a wonderful childcare facility. I used Chappell Riverside for my oldest…read moredaughter in 2018 and had a great experience so I was very happy that San Marco had an opening for my newborn in July 2022. My youngest daughter started at San Marco when she was 12 weeks old. Ms Chrissy and Ms Karen in the Pandas classroom are infant whisperers! They took such good care of my little girl! Mrs Helen is an absolute Angel and both of my girls have sweet, engaging interactions with her! Ms Mina, Ms Britt and Ms Charita in the Koalas classroom are excellent with the mobile infants. They did so many cute activities with them! They did a cute keepsake painting on my daughter's First Birthday that I will cherish forever! The teachers in the Alligators and Elephants are great with the toddlers! All of the staff is very friendly and know my daughters by name. Ms Stacey, Ms Carmen and Ms Sammy the Director are all very approachable and visible for parents and families to see. The Celebration of Nations that the school did in April was a great opportunity for them to engage the school community and as parents we were able to connect with the staff and had an opportunity to see the VPK students perform. It was an interactive immersive cultural experience that myself and my family enjoyed. I would 10/10 recommend this Childcare Facility to anyone looking in the San Marco/Riverside Area. It has a great playground for the kids and the staff treat your children like family.
