After emailing back and forth, Janey told me that they rarely do tastings. How can a consumer trust that their food would be yummy on their wedding day if they aren't able to sample the food? I would be a little worried about possible food poisoning. After several attempts of emailing Janey, and giving both her and the receptionist our availability to schedule a tasting, Janey just stopped communicating all together. I can understand a busy schedule (hello, I work and attend two schools full-time AND am planning a wedding!), but to just simply stop communicating with a potential consumer reflects poorly on a company. A simple email would have at least helped. They were still available to cater our wedding since they claim to have hired someone recently who would be able to assist us. However, if I have to be the one who's always emailing and contacting a company, I think I'll find someone else who would be worth working with and spending our hard earned money on. The photos and presentation are pretty, but that's just it. We hope other couples won't run into this problem when planning their wedding, and I hope this review will help them in understanding that customer service goes A LONG WAY!

The Ark Karaoke is my favorite KTV spot in the South Bay. I typically book on Resy, I've gone with…read moremedium sized groups to large/SVIP groups. Both offer a clean interior with space to sing. I'd say the large room is the most claustrophobic, because it involves two rows of couches with a narrow table in between for the refreshments (outside food and beverage are permitted). If you're trying to get out of the room to take a call or go to the restroom, it's rather awkward. If you're trying to look at the tablet to queue songs, it's rather awkward. However, this is probably the room I'd book the most since it fits the most people without being obscenely expensive (the SVIP room is huge, it even has a dance floor!). The workers are nice, the cleaning fee is rather tall at around $50 for the large room. You can request a water container with ice to be sent to your room! Service is nice, the selection of alcohol here is limited to beers and a handful of cocktails so I would definitely recommend doing a run prior to attending.
