Our room attendant was Eric and he was quick to help, understood when we needed to change the schedule, and in and out like a ninja. My confession is that I had never been to Kidtopia before the party but had heard great things so I took a chance. I'm so glad I did that! Everyone in our party said they had a great time and that it was well-organized- woohoo! The party block was for 2 hours. We had about 40 guests and the medium party room was fine. I think we could have used one of the tables that was set up for the cupcake stand or the gifts for more seating but, it wasn't an issue at all. So thankful for the team at Kidtopia for giving my daughter a very happy birthday party :) Now the other families and I are planning to come back for future play dates!

A few other kids from the party were also throwing up. The floor mat looks so disgustingly dirty. They useuse cheap outdoor picnic tables and benches; my 3-year-old almost fell out of the bench since it's so narrow! I saw adults wearing shoes inside the play area. Overall! This is not a children's indoor place I would recommend for parents to take their kids to go to, throwing an $800 party at. I regretted that I didn't do enough research.

Key Points: - Nostalgic Family Fun…read more- pizza was meh. - "Famous Thick Shake" was huge, but more like soft serve than any milk shake. Came here with the Fam for a birthday party for one of the Little One's school friends. I swear I haven't been to Golfland in probably 20+ years (maybe even closer to 30. That's how old I am). Glad to see it's still up and running and still a lot of fun. Young children are still a bit too small to really enjoy mini golf, or laser tag, but they had a blast running around and playing the video games. It's great to see that some things about this place haven't changed. The host of the party also purchased game cards for everyone, and each card came loaded with 100 credits. Dang! that's a lot. They were only valid for the video games, and none of the ticket or prize games, which honestly makes sense, as buying in bulk probably comes with a big discount, and no arcade wants you racking up a mountain of prizes off a party package. Still, it worked out fine because the little ones had a blast on the video games, and I even snuck in a round of Space Invaders myself ;) Even for Golfland, I can't write a review without mentioning food. Yes, it was party food, but I'll try to be nice: - Pizza: Cheese, chicken, and Veggie. Choices were great. However, the pizza quality was pretty mediocre. Akin to Little Caesar's. I'd say Chuck E. Cheese, but honestly I've never tried theirs so can't really say. - "Famous Thick Shake": I did go rogue a bit and purchased my own order of this shake that they advertise on the posters. First thing you notice? The size. It's huge! They offer a small and a large, but the "large" is about three times bigger for just $1 more. And that's how they get you to buy the large. At $9 vs. $8, of course you wouldn't order a small! The "shake" is really more like soft serve ice cream in a cup, almost like a McFlurry. I wouldn't try sucking it up through a straw though. That's futile. You get to choose three toppings. I went with two: cookie dough and coconut, which kind of makes a coconut chocolate chip cookie? It was pretty good, though way too much for one person. The Mrs., The Little One, and I together couldn't even finish it. Of note: the receipt labeled it as an "IG Thick Shake," which made me curious. I assumed IG meant instagram. So I hopped onto Instagram and searched "Golfland Thick Shake" to see what the hype was about. Let's just say the search results ended up being NSFW. Not what I was expecting. Overall, Golfland is still a solid spot for birthdays, family fun, and nostalgia. The food isn't why you come, but the golf, games, and sweet treats definitely make it worth the trip.

Ok I'll start with the pros: great location with plenty of ease with parking, restaurants around etc (pro tip: you can get some party trays from ramen 101 next door!), the facility was very clean (i even saw they were deep cleaning on their IG the day before the party), the space while small was very thoughtfully arranged and decorated, also we didn't choose a theme but they obviously were thoughtful because they had pretty pink/purple decor + plates etc out to match my daughter's theme, the ladies were super friendly and helpful from start to end, the space is actually ideal for younger kids because it's not toooo big, it's contained enough with freedom for littles to roam around safely and comfortably, the activities were great for the wide age range we had (3-9yo!) and all the kids had fun and participated well, i liked that they scaffolded structured activities with free play, the information about the reservation, timeframes etc were clearly communicated and reminders were provided throughout our reservation time, oh and there's a FRIDGE! My daughter had a blast and said it was the best day ever :) Some feedback I do have are (that do not detract from the overall good review): 1. The communication prior to the day itself is not very consistent. There's a number to text and i didn't always get satisfactory responses, i had to just try to figure out the info from the website. 2. It was clearly communicated the time for play + food would be 1 hour and 30 mins however I do feel the transition from play to food is a little rushed as kiddos take awhile to get out of the play area and they have to put on their shoes, wash their hands etc, so i would suggest either giving hosts options to transition earlier for enough time for the food, or perhaps allowing for 45 mins for food time in the package seems fair. I felt bad rushing everyone out towards the end and thankfully we had lots of helping putting everything back in the car! 3. It is a small space, especially during food + cake cutting time. It felt a little tight for parents with a group of 15 kids (and half of them were sibling sets!) Overall everyone had a great time. I'd recommend it for a party for younger children for sure (my kid who had a birthday turned 4), but they def had activities that all kids felt included!

That kind of energy doesn't happen by accident--and it's a direct reflection of Genessa, the manager. The staff was organized, warm, attentive, and so clearly happy to be there. The facility itself is spotless, well-run, and perfect for kids. And can we talk about the food? It's actually good--which is rare for kids' party venues. On top of that, the fact that they allow outside cold platters with no additional charge is an absolute game changer for parents planning a party.
