Orbit Medical (durable medical supplierre-named "Reliable Medical" located in Pewaukee, Wisconsin contacted me at my home today pushing products. Now I realize they kept my name -- as 1 week rehab/nursing home nursing home Patient -- without my permission. This sales "trap" is woefully unprofessional as they have no knowledge of me or my condition AND their product (a walker) was flimsy and sub-standard. I will be contacting the Milwaukee nursing home alerting them of sales practices of Reliable/Orbit Medical's Over-reach to former patients. read more

I take care of an 84 year old woman. She got a wheel chair when she went into a nursing home. The insurance was paying for it but only for a certain amount of time. My person really liked the chair so I called Orbit and said we wanted to buy it. We were given a price and it seemed reasonable and we where told it came with a one year warranty for parts and service. 2 months later we had some problems and called the company. Was told no service agreement was on the chair. I said not possible since salesman told me otherwise. She said as a one time courtesy they would send out a repair guy. I told them to call me before coming out. They never called and never showed up. Called back to customer service and they said guy was out there and fixed problems. I asked how that was possible since there was still a missing part and still a problem with a wheel. They said they would call back and set up another appointment but to date have not done so. Find some other reputable company to buy from or even from Craigslist. Horrible horrible customer service. read more
