He puts his work on other staff members. The academics at this school have dropped considerably. There is no data-driven decision-making by this incompetent leader. He has been observed making comments about the staff members whose husbands abuse them and who do and do not come from money. He has created a culture of gossip. Many families are choosing to remove their children from this school. I encourage you to do the same.

Now I have a little bit more time just because I was offered a job through Union friend with better benefits, and more pay who would not switch especially when it's something I love and I'm able to take all those days off, I have my princess !! Our daughter started 5th grade at VCS last year, and has transitioned into VCS middle school. We have seen her grow in ways that go far beyond the classroom. The families here genuinely support one another and are deeply invested in the personal, social, academic, emotional, and spiritual growth of our kids. It truly is a VCS community. VCS has also given our daughter the courage and confidence to try new things and put herself out there in ways she never had before. Last year, she was introduced to musical theater for the very first time. She was nervous and hesitant to try it, but she quickly fell in love with her instructors and made new friends. She has even chosen to take it as one of her extracurricular courses this year. She also joined the cross-country team for the first time and is planning to try out for the soccer team. Watching her become willing to try new things and discover what she loves has been incredibly meaningful to us as parents. We have also been so impressed by the teachers and staff. They are unbelievably supportive. Our daughter knows she can ask seek help and be herself without fear of judgment. Teachers take the time to make sure their students feel seen and supported. We appreciate that VCS is helping our daughter grow not only as a student, but as a young person who is learning to live out her faith, develop confidence, build meaningful relationships, and discover the gifts God has given her. We are incredibly proud to be supporters and advocates of VCS. We have found a place where our daughter and son are growing and thriving, and people who genuinely care about our family. My children have received several character awards, and I received numerous phone calls when they exhibited leadership at the school. One of my girls is in an IEP program. The teachers didn't treat her any differently, and my wife and I didn't perceive a stigma being placed on her. She's received and celebrated.
