I LOVEDDD this campground !! I know the reviews were kind of skeptical, however this was my first time camping ever and it was absolutely beautiful! The owners are so friendly and amazing ! They have bathrooms and stations to shower that are cleaned regularly so they were super clean for it to be camping! I have AT&T and my cell service was perfectly fine once arriving to the camp site ! They also have a small store for your convience and you can fish / swim/ kayak within the lake ! It was an amazing first experience can't wait to come back !

Ahhh so wonderfully surprised by our time at Orchard Lake!! Such a naturally beautiful family campground with a great vibe. Use the directions from the website to make sure you get in without trouble as there are train tracks in town you may not want to go over... you can see scrapes of people who've high centerSo while slightly challenging it's nothing I couldnt handle. My family and I have been road tripping the US for the past 9 months [17 states so far] and have stayed a lot of places... this one was one of the most naturally beautiful with tons going on! We were making our way to up to Asheville and randomly decided to stop over here for a night to break up the drive. The kids [and I] had so much fun upon our arrival we extended the stay. There's a beautiful lake for swimming & fishing with slides and swim docks. They have kayaks and boats you can paddle out in, zip line, frisbee golf course tucked away in the woods, golf chipping green, badminton, shuffleboard, little skate ramps n rails for skateboarding [everything free of charge] We had a great site [108] a pull through with full hookups and easy access to the back gate. There were tons of kids and the vibe here is so good. We could just let the kids run n play without worry. A really wonderful family campground. If you are looking for a place the fam will love do yourself a favor and stay a day or week. You'll be back, no doubt. As will we :)

Our favorite campground when we go pick apple at Skytop Orchard. There's so much for the kids to do.

Nice, clean family owned and run campground. This was our second year camping here. Not far from quaint town of Saluda.

EmberGlow is an amazing high end Glamping/Camping resort! So far we have stayed in a pod and a yurt…read moreand loved both. The pod was just a little small but very well thought out! The 16' yurt was incredible! It was so clean, well appointed, and spacious. The queen bed is super comfy, bathroom lovely, kitchenette had all we needed! We were there during the week and had our whole section of the campground to ourselves and we had the pool completely to ourselves 2 days in a row The 1st night there was a whopping thunderstorm and our yurt was so cozy! Lying in bed watching the lightning through the skylight and hearing the rain on the canvas will always be a favorite memory for us! The whole resort is so well thought out and the people are super sweet! Thank you Nancy for being so kind and accommodating!

I feel so lucky that we found this cute campground! Because of the fires there was a burn ban however it wasn't a problem. The hiking trails were very nice and everything was clear from Helene so we could access them. We were camping in our RV but there are so many great accommodations if you don't have anything to camp in. To me the best thing was the bathroom and shower! I have never been to a campground that had such great showers!! Incredibly clean and they have shampoo, conditioner and body wash in there for you to use. They even had towels rolled up in cubbies! Who has that! We loved it so much that we already booked a spot for next year :)

What started as a stressful evening turned into one of the best campground experiences we've had…read more After arriving at another campground on Sunday and discovering it wasn't what we had been led to expect, we left and started searching for another place to stay. It was already late in the evening when we found Pine Ridge Campground on Google Maps and decided to take a chance. When we arrived, the office was already closed. A maintenance employee noticed us pulling in, stopped what he was doing, and took the time to hear our situation. He immediately contacted the property manager, and despite being off duty, she came to the campground, opened the office, found us a site, got us checked in, and made sure we were taken care of. The maintenance employee even had a golf cart ready for us to rent so we could get settled in quickly. That level of customer service is rare these days and made a lasting impression on us. We've now been here for three days, and everything about this campground has been outstanding. The grounds are exceptionally clean and well maintained, the facilities are spotless, and it's obvious the staff takes great pride in the property. Everyone we've encountered has been friendly, professional, and willing to help. The pool is excellent, the campground is peaceful and well kept, and the golf cart rentals are very reasonably priced. Most importantly, the entire staff genuinely seems to care about their guests and goes above and beyond to make sure everyone has a great experience. Whether you're looking for a long-term stay or just passing through for a few nights, I highly recommend Pine Ridge Campground. We will absolutely stay here again the next time we're in the area.

This time our rig was tail light and due to the slight incline of the site made for rain water to flow we had a hard time leveling the front so I went back to the office to request a different site and explained that the reason was our rig and not the site itself to which the owners obliged with a smile, not only that but he offered me his wooden blocks that in the end were the perfect solution. There is an stigma about permanent people but we found that us being friendly, waving and smiling to all they all are friendly and respond well, on the contrary the only indifferent person was a temporary young lady that when greeted twice looked the other way but you can't expect everyone to be in a good mood all the time. Quiet place, close to Forest City where we went to church on Sunday and also very close to Lake Lure to check the touristy attractions that lure ( pun intended ) people in. Don't know about bathhouse because we never use since our rig is self contained Will comeback to vacay and explore the region

The RV sites are gravel but have a concrete pad with a picnic table and sitting area. We came at the end of July and thought the bugs would be bad being right here on the water, but that was not the case. I only gave 4 stars because the owners could be a bit more friendly, and the camp store and facilities are a bit run down. Otherwise, a nice place to stay.
