They were always friendly, and answered any of my questions without hesitation. This RV park definitely has a homey feel to it. I enjoyed the people around me as well, as all were very nice. They are also very pet friendly, as they LOVED my dog and cat. They were spoiled with love there. One time they brought someone to play live music, and grilled food for everyone at the campsite. Their laundry facilities and bathrooms are always super clean, and all is very spacious. When I was leaving, they also helped me to make sure I was hooked up properly. I am glad I came here for my first RV living experience, and now every other RV park I stay in will have to live up to these expectations. They also had amazing cell and wifi service which was a big plus, being away from home.

Bathroom is clean. The sites are large enough to spread out a little and pop-up a canopy tent and unpack a few chairs. Local gas station and convenience store is only about a mile a away. Larger food store is about 7 miles. Lake Lure is only 10 minutes away. Several state parks, equine center, restaurants, and vinyards/breweries are an easy drive too. Overall, we had a great time and as always we met some nice people at the site too.

The dog park gave our pup the chance to run free, the clean bathhouses gave us a place to freshen up and the location gave us the ability to explore all Asheville had to offer, climb to the top of Mount Mitchell (the highest point East of the Mississippi) and just enjoy the surroundings. Our site had a full hook up, electric and water (even with temps in the low 20's at night), we had a fire ring (or square), a picnic table perched on the deck, cantilevered over the stream, and lovely (back-in) site with privacy and shade. He also dates his staff, his former Manager Bonnie what great she cared and was always available for us 24/7 and lived onsite and when he was done with her, he fired and evicted her, she was a single mom with no place to go so she lost her housing and her job. The new manger was never available, she, and relied on the some of the resident to do her job after hours and at the same time they were allowed to break the rules and when you complained about them, she ignored it. prices went up and the residents suffered. There are no amenities for the price you pay, he doesn't give any discounts especially to Veterans, they make you pay to have a DNA test of your dog's poop if your long term. They say they are a 45 and up adults only, and they are not. The owner has party's and the people going to the party race through the parking campground along with the golf carts that do not follow the speed limit. And heaven forbid if you are a good resident who pay their site fee on time and follow the rules but have a few friends over then he evicts you, he picks and chooses who you are allowed to have visit you onsite and at your camper, has even made threats to good resident he would evict if they have them onsite again. Quite time is at 9pm and the staff who live onside are not allowed to be social with the resident's if they are the owner fire and evicts them on the spot. There is an stigma about permanent people but we found that us being friendly, waving and smiling to all they all are friendly and respond well, on the contrary the only indifferent person was a temporary young lady that when greeted twice looked the other way but you can't expect everyone to be in a good mood all the time. Quiet place, close to Forest City where we went to church on Sunday and also very close to Lake Lure to check the touristy attractions that lure ( pun intended ) people in. We came at the end of July and thought the bugs would be bad being right here on the water, but that was not the case.
