I also coach for Buffalo Volleyball Academy and we play a ton of tournaments here! Is is very VERY clean. Everything is organized. They even have a lost and found! Forget food or water? They have a concession stand as well as vending machines. One very cool thing about this venue is that they have TV's by the concession stand so you can watch what is happening on your court. This comes in handy when girls have a game off and want to relax but still want to see what's going on. They have enough seating to fit parents for both teams per court. They have a second floor with tables. This comes in handy when you are looking for somewhere to go/put your stuff during games. You can also clearly see courts 1-4 from the second floors, so you don't have to go downstairs to watch the games! You are not allowed to bring in any outside food or drinks. They have lunches ready and drinks there. Cash only. If you are coming for a volleyball tournament I would suggest getting there when doors open (doors open an hour before the first game). There is a parking lot but it tends to fill up pretty quickly. You can park on the streets or in a neighboring lot but who wants to walk that far??? If you are a coach and forget anything - they most likely have it there! The staff is always very friendly and willing to help.

Beautiful wide open area with a million soccer fields of all sizes…read more Ok, a million might be an exaggeration... But there really are a ton of them! The fields are kept up nicely, there is also a basketball court and a playground. Though the playground doesn't have swings which....come on...how do you not have swings? Lol There is a building for bathrooms and snack bar. The bathrooms are open all summer but the snack bar is only open for tournaments. It's a great place to practice soccer by yourself or with a team as there are often so many fields that you don't always have to reserve space.

It's always clean and well maintained around the almost 1 mile loop . There is a playground , a small basketball court . a creek entrance for fishing etc. and a ton of field space for kids to play soccer . Bathrooms are definitely open during games, it's a gamble whether they are open during other time periods . Dog friendly too . A nice park option when you are not up to some wilderness hiking but wanna get some steps in.

They have learn to row camps for kids, and year long learn to row programs for adults. I highly recommend spending some time at this WRSC. They have really fun regattas, about 4 a year. They usually run from 8-3. Also, take advantage of Buffalo's beautiful waterfront by learning how to row or cox. It is a very thrilling & rewarding sport.

TREO changed my life! I have been a member here for about 14 months and I can easily say it is the…read morebest thing to ever happen to me. I am getting leaner each day and I feel like I am in the best shape of my life. I feel fantastic. The trainers here pay close attention to detail, give you tips you can take home with you, and become your friend from the moment you walk in the door. I haven't had a single trainer or session that I wasn't completely happy with. "Group PT" is exactly what it sounds like. Personal Training, in a group setting. The workout can be compared to circuit training. There are strength exercises and cardio mixed together. The workouts make use of kettle bells, free weights, TRX straps, heavy ropes, mats, bands, medicine balls, swiss balls, prowlers, and more. Groups can be anywhere from 2-20 people, depending on who signs up. The workouts are set up as stations of 2-4 people, with varying reps and time frames. They change up the overall format for each class. Over a year later and I'm still learning new things each class! The trainers are highly skilled and right there for you anytime you need assistance with form or have questions about the movements. EVERYONE here is very motivating. Trainers push you to work harder, break limits, and achieve your goals. The members are welcoming and fun to workout with. We all work together to keep the group going. The atmosphere here is wonderful. Trainers and members are all very friendly. I can't say enough about the overall attitude and environment. It's just great. The membership here ranges quite a bit. Serious athletes and newcomers sign up for the same Group PT and both get a great workout. Variations and modifications are made clear for those of us working at a different level. There are other types of training available at TREO. I have not attended EPIC yet and have not taken advantage of one-on-one training, so I can't say much about those options. TREO also offers occasional "challenges". This is how I originally joined TREO. I started during a fall challenge. Right now, I am a part of "Fit in 15" which is a post-New Year's 6-week fitness challenge. I took a body assessment at the beginning, set goals for my experience, and have been attending workouts 3 times per week. They set up opportunities to earn points during the workouts. There are additional at-home challenges as a part of Fit in 15. This week is plank week. Three minutes of planks at home is worth one point. Participants were divided into teams to motivate and compete for prizes. There are nutrition seminars and facebook support throughout the challenge and another body assessment at the end. This particular challenge has been so fun for me. It's a great way to stay motivated. It is important that you know this IS ABSOLUTELY NOT a naggy gym that focuses on trying to get you and all of your friends to sign up for 2-year contracts. This is a family business that values your success and achievements over anything else. They will check in on you -- they will call and email on occasion -- but because they care about how you are feeling and whether or not are achieving your goals at TREO. They also have an excellent facebook community that you are invited to once you join. The private groups they maintain have been motivational to me and offers an opportunity to make new friends. For frame of reference, I've worked out at just about every type of local gym and most of the national chains. I have never experienced anything as awesome as TREO in WNY. I still do yoga and spin, occasionally, outside of TREO, but nothing compares to the workout I get here.

The experience was wonderful and the workout was always challenging. I remember there were times that I thought "I can't do this", but at the end of the hour I couldn't believe how great I felt and anxious to return for another session. Emily is AWESOME!!!! She truly believes in every person and their individual concerns. She motivates and pushes you, but always in a way that is safe and totally comitted to your best interest.
