It serves children in the area of Buffalo, and many of them are very clearly talented. Apparently, this group has been around since 1959 and the league offers a whole range of programs for children of different ages and skill levels. They have Tee Ball, baseball, softball, camps, participate in tournaments and also organize events. And the league has also enjoyed competitive success over the years, winning New York State Little League championships, including state titles in the past. Also, the park for their game play has several fields and a concession stand with pretty good burgers, hot dogs and nachos. They also have soda and water on site and are pup friendly. I left my hat in one of the pouches and left before realizing it. By the time I went back it was mixed in with all the other harnesses. He mad sure to tell ALL the staff to keep an eye out for it and called me hours later when he found it to come pick it up. He had no obligation to call me or to return my hat. He could just tell I was super upset and made sure I got it back. FYI zip line was super awesome as well.

But the NF Adventure Park is an underrated and largely unheralded fun park right near the heart of the Falls, within spitting distance of the Falls themselves (if you are a spitter). They have zip-lines which are thrilling, and have an amazing view of the mist and the whole area, and after what is inevitably a long wait, you will get to do as much as you like, as many times as you like, and it's a hell of a lot of fun. It was probably the most fun that my German family members had on their trip to WNY, while the older folk enjoyed the Falls, the kids thought this was unforgettable and are already talking about going again when we come back. I'd like to take some of my Buffalo friends here because none of them seem to have heard of it. It's slightly pricey, but I suppose everything is these days.

Seriously- they understand what it's like to be turned away form places, or be told your child is too difficult. They made this space for us. They know how it is, and they never, ever turn a child away. They just make sure they have the right resources in place to accommodate them. They host free play sessions, and have very reasonable rates for paid activities. They have a drop-off social skills class every Saturday, and they run week long events during school breaks. My kid did SO well at this last one! Everyone there is so loving to all the kids, and so understanding. They work with them and make sure everyone feels special and loved. I can't say enough great things about this organization! We even had our sons last birthday party there!!!

If you are not up for a walk you can drive here and park at the nearby lot and it is a short walk. It's a beautiful view and no matter where you are on the walkway you will get a great shot of the falls. If you want to just sit and take it in, you can. On a nice warm day, the mist every so often off the falls feels good hitting your face while the sun is baking you. This can be as quick a visit as you want it to be. Or you can just sit hear all day and watch the hoards of tourist coming and going.

Great view of Niagara Falls!…read more Terrapin Point is the closest viewing of the falls from the USA without getting on the Maid of the Mist boat ride. If you haven't done the Maid of the Mist, I still think it is worth it BTW. The mist from the falls is so strong that you will get hit from it standing close to the edge. During busy times it can be hard to get a nice camera shot of the falls as everyone else is looking for the same shot. The sun is also pretty strong at times so getting a perfect shot is always difficult. Niagara Falls is indeed awe inspiring and I do try to stop by every time I'm nearby. With erosion and decay on the horizon, I'm hopeful that I'll still be able to enjoy this site for many years to come. As some others have noted, parking is anywhere from free with your National Park Pass, $10 or $15. I didn't take particular note of the difference between $10 and $15 but I think it depends on if you have a much larger vehicle like a RV.

Tables were set up so we could put the sheets pizzas that were ordered and snacks people brought to share! My teacher friends, our significant others, and myself had a blast bowling!!!
