It serves children in the area of Buffalo, and many of them are very clearly talented. Apparently, this group has been around since 1959 and the league offers a whole range of programs for children of different ages and skill levels. They have Tee Ball, baseball, softball, camps, participate in tournaments and also organize events. And the league has also enjoyed competitive success over the years, winning New York State Little League championships, including state titles in the past. Also, the park for their game play has several fields and a concession stand with pretty good burgers, hot dogs and nachos. They also have soda and water on site and are pup friendly. Family fun all around -- and a bit of competition.

The Classic hosts high school & youth hockey teams, free-skate sessions, private parties. Once the weather warms up, the Rink will be converted to an outdoor marketplace. Facilities are immaculately clean, which is a tall order, considering the large members of people coming through the building every day. We took advantage of the Skate rentals, until we knew our boys were committed to learning to skate. At that point, we bought secondhand skates for them. There's a limited snack bar in the skating lodge. If you're craving something more substantial, you're within walking distance from some really great restaurants! I particularly love the second floor which overlooks the ice. It's wonderfully comfortable and cozy, outfitted with huge rocking chairs. Come on down during open hours to support the kids!

They know how it is, and they never, ever turn a child away. They just make sure they have the right resources in place to accommodate them. They host free play sessions, and have very reasonable rates for paid activities. They have a drop-off social skills class every Saturday, and they run week long events during school breaks. My kid did SO well at this last one! Everyone there is so loving to all the kids, and so understanding. They work with them and make sure everyone feels special and loved. I can't say enough great things about this organization! We even had our sons last birthday party there!!!

They offer a variety of classes, including three session beginner classes. I took one and plan to take another or join a class when they separate lyra and trapeze later this year. The instructors are kind and patient. You definitely want to build up your upper body strength, but these classes will also help build your strength. I wish I'd known about this location sooner.

Then they converted it to a new state of the art facility with 3 standard size rinks and an Olympic size rink. Complete with equipment shop, concessions, etc. But that was decades ago now. And not much has changed since the conversion. Are the concession-area seating/tables the originals? Because they appear to be (falling apart, loose, marked up, wobbly). The spectator overhead heaters are in rough shape (do they even work half the time?). This facility is in desperate need of refurbishment.
