Amazing staff. Kind, compassionate and knowledgeable, they helped through the euthanasia of my heart dog.

BVE: BEST VET EVER! They had a same-day appointment available. They spent an hour and 15 minutes…read morediscussing concerns and troubleshooting. A number of professionals worked with us to find relief for our dog. They contacted our previous vet for us to get records and even patiently waited when "put on hold" to get further details about previous treatments. All questions were kindly answered, our input was welcomed, and we were included in all of the treatment (drawing blood, administering fluids...). Just a couple of hours after the appointment, we were emailed a detailed (4 pages) document, recording all that transpired during the visit. To top it all off, everything was affordable and everyone was so very pleasant!

She took her in to see Dr. Callejo in the Springboro Office. I had taken my dog there in the past. She wanted $720 to do 5 ex-rays and NO blood work. After agreeing to blood work, she said what she was doing would not show signs of cancer at rate of $420. She said her annual office visit is $420 with blood work. The tech suggested on doing 2 ex-rays so it would be less expensive. Dr. Callejo refused saying she wanted 5 ex-rays. It then became quite obvious that Dr. Callejo was strictly out for money. When I was going there, the vet cared about the animal and was much more compassionate and willing to work with you. When your pet is sick you want someone that cares about the animal not just the money. She could have done 1 or 2 ex-rays not 5 and then determined what else was needed. I will never recommend them again. What a sad experience.

Took the time to bring my dog in for surgery, on the ONE day I had off as a healthcare worker…read more Which I also had to schedule a month and a half in advance. Only to be called an hour later that her appointment would need rescheduled due to their dental drill not working. Their only opening that also worked with MY schedule, was an another three weeks out. So now my dog that suffers from anxiety and was already very anxious about the whole situation, including me, has to wait almost another month. And deal with more pain in the process. I also received minimal to no sympathy from the staff regarding the situation. They basically brushed it off and treated me like it was no big deal that my schedule is now disrupted and I wasted a day off with time I will not receive back from my employer. I also had another very important meeting with an attorney today, that also had to be pushed back as a result of me having to run back and pick her up again. Whole thing was a mess and the lack of concern from the staff is very concerning in of itself. I'll be back cause I don't have a choice to, but I'm estimated to be spending around 1000-1500$ for this whole thing. I also had to starve my dog for 12 hours prepping her for surgery. And for what? The vet to not properly check their tools beforehand? I know stuff happens but you're taking people's hard earned money AND cutting into their busy schedules. Maybe try showing some more respect regarding that. They were also supposed to trim her nails and they didn't even do that. Could've at least done one thing I had planned on getting done. Once her surgery is done, another three weeks from now, I won't be coming back.

Every time she has an issue, they take her entire well being into consideration. What will be best for her (and my pocketbook) is always suggested, and there are always multiple options. The staff knows her by name when we walk in, and they are such kind folks. We were patients of Dr. Raab and made the switch when he sold the practice. We noticed no change in the level of care we received. TL;DR: I'll recommend Covenant to everyone. They are by far the best vets in the area, and they won't even break the bank.

The owner accused my mother of animal abuse/neglect, lectured and threatened her, then called the dog warden. The dog warden then detained, yes, detained my mother for 45 minutes threatening and accusing, all the while he and the owner of D and G withholding the dog from her. At one point my mother said she was on medications for health issues including high blood pressure and to please stop attacking her, and this owner and the warden could have cared less and continued their attack on my mother. His ears were infected; my mother did not know this. She had had him to the vet in March for treatment. Then she was taking him to this "business" to be groomed and cared for....is that neglect?? They finally forced my mother to sign a paper saying she would bring the dog BACK TO THIS PLACE in six weeks so she could finally have her dog back. For the record, there is NO WAY my mother or ANYONE we know will ever step foot near this place again. This was a terrible, terrible and traumatic experience for my mother and was handled TOTALLY inappropriately and unprofessionally. NO ONE loves animals more than my parents; they saved this stray dog's life in the first place!!! So unless you want to risk being judged and accused of animal abuse, don't EVER step foot in this place.
