Will never go back. I get my nails filled in and a pedicure every 2-3 weeks. Just recently came back home to SC and it is hard to find a good nail place, so we decided to try this place. Worst mistake. Told the First Lady they looked terrible and she didn't bother fixing them. The Second Lady did offer to fix them, however it looked the same as the first time. If you know how your nails/toes are supposed to look do not go here! I also paid $50 for nothing. I showed the lady my reference photo and asked her if she would be able to do the design I wanted and she said yes. So she pulled out white nail tips and put them on my nails. She then cut and shaped them and when she went to do the polish I asked her if she could make the French tips thinner because it didn't match the design I wanted. She told me that wasn't possible and proceeded to explain to me that I should've asked for that in the beginning even though I showed her my reference photo multiple times and she said she would do it. Most nail salons I have been to in the past paint with pink polish and then do the design so I assumed that was what she was going to do but she didn't even try that. So I left and payed $45 for nails that looked terrible. Definitely never going back. read more

Awful pedicure. There was no one waiting and it was 2 hours before closing, but my deluxe pedicure was done in about 15 minutes. Neither cuticles nor skin around nails was trimmed. One side of big toes was cut at a deep slant and the other side was kept square. ZERO care in polish application. Extremely sloppy. I still had polish all over my skin even after asking for them to be cleaned up. It's absurd that it was $38. read more

I had been going to Orchid Nails for 3 years. As soon as the salon opened back up on Monday I called for an 11:00 appointment on Saturday. I was at the salon at 11:00. There were new faces. I had been going to Mimi who was great. I was told that she would be back in 2 weeks. I said since she wasn't there I would take anyone. I sat there for 45 minutes. When I came in the door I was told they would be right with me. No one said a word to me while I was waiting for 45 minutes. I left. I called the salon on my way home and told a girl my story. She said nothing. No apology. Nothing. I will not be back. On my way home I made an appointment at another salon. read more

They were lifting the next morning, the edges are rough on the thumb, he didn't color the tips, they're different thicknesses, the edges around the cuticle are rough... so bad. read more

I have been here several times in the last couple of years and they did ok....it was always a hit and miss but I was happy so far. Not anymore....tonight I went there for a polish change with design and the lady ( she used to be much friendlier in the past) that provided the service was extremely rude and did a very poor job. I guess she didn't care if I would come back or not which I obviously won't. Thank goodness there's enough competition in Simpsonville...plenty of other places I can spend my money and hopefully get treated as a valued customer. read more

By far the best salon I have been to. All the staff is polite and helpful. They make sure while doing your nails that you are getting exactly what you want. Most salons make my nails crooked or too thick even when I ask them to fix it but they were perfect first time here I didn't have to say anything! I loved them! I will definitely be making this my regular salon. read more

I got my first ever pedicure here when I was like 8 years old. I have such sweet memories of my mom taking me for a girls night so many years ago. We moved away from the area, and just recently moved back; I am now 20 years old. I was about to graduate from cosmetology school in a couple of days, and wanted to get my nails done for this special day. I went to Orchid nails so happy and excited. It was sometime in the evening, probably a few hours from closing time. I wanted French and tips/acrylic for length. The woman who did my nails rushed through it like I have never seen. I'm talking even less than half-assed 35 minute full set appointment start to finish. I wish I would have taken a picture of them. They looked awful. And nothing like I wanted, if she even would have let me explain my thoughts. Everything was rushed and shrugged off and shoved out. I pointed out how rough and uneven each finger looked, and all the employees ganged up on me trying to explain I was wrong and they were even and looked good. I have been getting my nails done for years, and I have never been upset enough to even say anything, let alone get into somewhat of an argument with the entire staff?? I was so upset. She agreed that one (1) nail looked a little off. Proceeded to literally rip the tip off of my nail and redo it. I had given up. Didn't even want them to be fixed I just wanted to leave. So I did. Dont waste your money. Avoid at all cost and trust the negative reviews. For quality work i Dont mind paying but this place is by far worth it! For acrylic pedicure and the basic manicure with gel polish mt total came to 89$! That and the customer service is horrible. Your ignored or herd around like farm animals. read more

My first time here and the customer service was great. But the part that matters the most is the nails. I wanted coffin style nails but that is far from what I got. It's only been 2 days and my nails are soft, brittle and have already chipped due to not enough acrylic being on the nails itself. Its just not worth the 30 dollars that I paid to get them done. So with that being said I probably won't be back unless it's for a pedicure. But 2 stars for the customer connection. read more

Honestly the first time I was here was not great. I went with my boyfriends sister about half hour before they closed and they rushed to get our nails done so they could leave. They didn't pay much attention to detail when I asked for a heart on my ring finger it came out looking like trash.
