On a whim, I tried this nail salon for a walk-in pedicure and was pleasantly surprised. I was greeted immediately by the owner when I arrived. The wait was about 20 minutes, but as I was not in a hurry, it wasn't a problem for me. The shop itself is very clean, not too fancy, but well-kept. There isn't much of the harsh chemical smell that you find in other nail salons. The pedicure chair was quite comfortable! Prices were very reasonable- $25 for a spa pedicure and no upcharge for callus removal. They have a good selection of polish colors in both high-end (OPI, Orly, Essie) and drugstore brands. The lady who did my pedicure (I believe her name is Hannah) was very nice. She did an excellent job and did not rush. She was very gentle during the whole process (unlike other salons I have visited), which I appreciated! Pedicures shouldn't hurt or make you bleed. She was also very mindful of cleanliness and attention to detail. I will go back to Nail Style for all my nail care needs. This was the worst nail experience I have ever had. I asked the male technician to pay special attention to an area in my foot and he went ballistic. He kept yelling y'all people always criticize. Told me I walked in with a mean look on my face and he knew I would start criticizing his work. I nicely told him I was 9 months pregnant and I had no problem with his work. He continued to yell and scream y'all people. I was honestly shocked and terrified for my safety. I never seen someone who runs a business be this mentally unstable due to a simple request. I've been a loyal customer at Nail Style since they opened, coming every 2-3 weeks and spending close to $100 or sometimes more each visit plus generous tip. Tonight, I had a small nail emergency and saw that they were still open for another 40 minutes. As soon as I walked in she sent me away without even an attempt to hear my need. I was immediately turned away. I felt humiliated and very disappointed. I thought over time I had built a good rapport. A simple hi, acknowledgment of concern or even offering to schedule me, would have gone a long way but instead, the response was dismissive and rude. I will not be returning. Overpriced and low quality. I paid more here than most other salons ($50 for a full with gel - no design) and the full was painful. She continuously caught my skin with the dremel and file which hurt but also made the polish remover painful. While there a walk in pedi was told yes we can do it, she sat a good 30 min before they started. I would have left as they never said it would be that long. They got to her and she said water was cold. They used TEA KETTLE water to fill with hotter water! Not to mention the polish isn't 100% solid like most salons. In the sun it doesn't look like there's two coats. Not worth the money! read more

Popped in to get a quick pedicure and was not disappointed. The shop was empty so there was no waiting and the prices were reasonable. My nail tech wasn't overly chatty as I am the type to hold small talk during a pedi but I usually just like to relax and let the chair do it's work. They also have a TV so that gave me a distraction as I waited for my toes to dry. It's not my regular place but if I was in the area again I'd go back for a pedi. read more

Came here on a early saturday morning with a girlfriend to get pedicures. When we came in we signed in and told them what we wanted. They made it seem like we weren't going to wait long. I noticed there were 3 people working all busy and it didn't look like they were going to be done anytime soon. I saw a lady wait next to us as well as a lady sitting with her child on a pedicure chair so I wasn't exactly sure who else was waiting to be serviced. Two more people came after us and signed in. When they signed in, a lady asked us to sit in pedicure chairs. We thought we were about to start our pedicures but we waited and waited. We realized she only asked us to do that because the two girls behind us didn't have a seat. We asked her how long is the wait and she said 30 mins til one of us gets a pedicure and 30 mins for the next one. Why would we not get pedicures at the same time? That was the whole point of us coming together. I told her we didn't know we were going to wait that long because we already waited 30 mins so to wait another 30 mins for someone to get a pedi done and another 30 mins til the other one starts is ridiculous. She then said it was only gonna be 10 mins for both of us. I knew she was lying. She confirmed with a guy doing a lady's nails about us only waiting 10 mins and he yells across the salon saying that he wasn't gonna rush for us. We never asked him to. We simply asked how long it was gonna be and we wanted an honest answer. Not fair for them to try to lie to us and have us linger on and wait. The lady that was originally waiting next to us stormed out because she waited so long. We ended up leaving because we did not appreciate the lack of service as well as the yelling. Nail Style is a great place! They're really friendly and they don't make you feel uncomfortable. I've been going to Tony and Lily's for years. I tried to venture out and came right back to them because they know what they're doing. If you have a specific shape you want, just show them a picture and they get it don't perfectly. Visited the salon today for the first time. Staff didn't even say hello when I walked in, they just looked up and stared. So awkward. I eventually told them the service I needed. All I got was "ok". I wasn't offered any gel colors to look at while I waited. I wasn't given any time frame of when they would be available to paint my nails. I was totally ignored. After sitting there a while, I left. I chose this location because it is close to my home. In my opinion the salon appeared very junky and the prices were 10.00 higher, than the other salons in the area. I went in around 4pm for a basic pedicure, waited over an hour patiently for a tech to become available. I specifically said that I had wanted a pedicure, no manicure. I finally was seated in the pedicure chair and stated again that I only wanted a pedicure not a manicure, to which the technician breathed a sigh of relief saying thank goodness because they have been busy all day. Not my problem. I normally would've driven into Greenville to my usual place but I had just moved down the street and did not feel like driving far for a pedicure. The nail tech stated that my fingernails needed attention and she offered to fix the cuticles. Again, I stated I was in for a pedicure, not manicure. She fixes up my cuticles at the pedicure chair, no polish. I go to pay for my pedicure, $45. For what? A basic pedicure? I repeated the amount back and she says $45. Can tell you I was not pleased at all from start to finish. read more

They do ok. I was frustrated though because I came in at 2pm and they said it would be 30 minutes. So I came back in 30 minutes, then waited 10. At that point, they sat me in a chair and I waited 50 minutes in the chair. Then, they have one person going back and fourth between people, which I have never encountered and am not very comfortable with. My time is valuable and when I wait over an hour and 15 minutes when you say 30, then it doesn't make me happy, but the pedicures are good. If you are more patient than I, then it's ok here. read more

I just moved to the Simpsonville area and this was the closest salon to me so on 7/21/17 I decided to just walk in for a pedi-mani and see if they would take me at like 5:10 pm when they closed at 6. They graciously accepted me as a walk-in and I only waited about 15 minutes to get service. The shop was really clean and the owners (husband and wife duo) were very nice! I was pleasantly surprised by their prices (no extra charge for callous removal and the foot and leg massage was great). The selection of nail polish is pretty good and the chairs were nice and comfy! It turned out that the owner (Tony) did my nails and he shared its best to make appointment which to me made it even more cool that they provided me service when I walked in less than an hour before they closed! I made an appointment before I left as this will now be my new salon of choice! No need to go elsewhere! Check them out you will NOT be disappointed! read more

Nail Style is one of the better nail salons that I have gone to and continue to go to. The nail techs are nice, courteous, and very personable - it's almost like Cheers - it's a place where everybody knows your name. They don't just do your nails, they build a relationship with you. They are good at what they do. It doesn't take wines or appetizers to draw you back ro their place of business. Good work and a good attitude alone will do just that. read more
