The first time I fell, I needed help to get back up, and just walking through the balls was hard! The *shore* with lounge chairs & umbrellas was a nice way to catch my breath. Due to my kids' work & college schedules, Sunday was really the best day for us to go together. I ordered our free tickets online several weeks before the multi-week event began, and 5pm 8/21 was the only slot still available for a group of 6... That's how popular this event was, sight unseen! Once I realized The Beach Tampa would be closing at 6pm on Sundays, I was concerned our time would be limited. However, worrying was not necessary. At the entrance outside, we queued up to enter precisely at our ticketed time. Then inside, we waited again as staff monitored the number of people inside the actual *beach* area for safety and enjoyment, allowing people to enter as others left. The line moved quickly at this point, but we still weren't able to go in until after 5:30. Luckily, staff had already announced to everyone that even the very last person to enter would get a minimum of 45 minutes to enjoy The Beach. I really hope The Beach returns to Tampa!

EVgo makes this an easy stop because I can charge the car while wandering around the outdoor shopping center, use a clean air conditioned bathroom, grab refreshments or a quick bite and browse the stores. I especially like stopping at 3Natives for a healthier option, with wraps and bowls that make much more sense to me than the usual mall food. I always check Macy's Last Act too, because I refuse to pay full retail when patience usually pays off. One thing I found particularly interesting was how culturally diverse the crowd felt. I noticed a strong South Asian and Middle Eastern presence, along with a mix of families and shoppers that gave the center more character than I expected from a suburban shopping destination. I enjoy that kind of people watching because you get a little glimpse into how different communities are living, shopping and spending their time. I'm still mostly browsing rather than buying, but between the EV charging, good food options and people watching, Wiregrass has turned out to be a surprisingly useful stop for me.

The biggest issue here is the younger clientele are rude jerks who think they are better than others. Seems like over privileged punk college kids. The drinks and food are very reasonably priced, the new staff is friendly and attentive, and the service has been consistently great. With its beautiful waterfront setting on the lake, great food and drinks, fun live entertainment, and welcoming staff, The Tiki Cove has become one of my favorite places to relax. Televisions were abundant, unfortunately, the bathroom situation at present is "mobile". Upscale port-a-pottys. The string lights they have outside, big bulbs and over half of them off when we went. Now for the service, we were greeted by a sign that said seat yourself, it was rather busy, so we decided to sit at the bar. We saw five bartenders, some of whom saw us sit down and get done with the menu, but they seemed more dedicated to their phones than their jobs. I had to get their attention. Five of them and not a single one seemed to care initially. Moving on, the place is right on a lake and if they actually put effort in and promoted it, this could be a spot. In it's current state it needs serious help and some better quality drinks and servers. I can't comment on the food, saw bad reviews and considering the "Tiki" drinks on offer, I didn't want to waste any more money. Hopefully they'll take this review into consideration and improve.
