Absolutely phenomenal breeder. I have not come close to finding another one anywhere near the West Coast that: -Spends so much time caring for their cats -Takes such care with queens/studs; I've seen her neuter/spay cats after only a litter or two if they showed any signs of being unhappy or it affecting their health even slightly -Maintains such a strong connection with former kitties (there's a Facebook group community where people can post pics of their kittens growing up, ask questions, share health concerns, etc) -Is so, so, SO transparent, specifically regarding any health concerns she learns about for one of her cats or a previous kitten Horus (our Maine Coon kitten through Nacoonzi) is about 7 months now, and I can legitimately say that he is already the coolest cat I've ever met. The cost of Maine Coons is pretty high from any local breeder, and I'm by no means rich. We had to save up for the better part of a year to cover the cost of Horus plus for potential vet emergencies. He's been worth every single penny without question, and having seen all the work Patty & team puts in, probably should have cost about twice as much. This is a top notch selective organization that carefully monitors gene lines when breeding the cats. New gene lines are introduced over time after lots of careful research. After impregnation the queens are sent back to their guardian homes where they give birth, are monitored constantly and their kittens are carefully tended and supplementally fed as needed. The amount of care every cat and kitten gets is exemplary. The queens are limited to a certain number of litters and then spayed to limit overbreeding and guarantee long restful lives for these mamas. The guardians have been hand selected and are excellent and dedicated to the cats and kittens. All of the kittens are litter box trained, loved on and cuddled by their humans so they are confident, curious, cuddly and happy. The guardians raise them out of love and joy. Many of these cats have reached world champion status as show cats, In addition to all of the above, all cats are given the extensive echocardiograms to make sure they are healthy and not at risk. My husband and I have always wanted a Maine Coon in our lives. After doing some research online, we came across this cattery. After corresponding online with Patty, we decided to purchase a kitten from one of her next litters. We couldn't be happier with our choice! We were able to tour their home once the kittens were several weeks old. Their cattery is clean, and well built! They have put a lot of time in planning out their rooms for their cats. You can tell nothing but the utmost care goes into each cat they own, and into the mamas and kittens that are in their care. We picked out our kitten during that first meeting! Patty corresponded often in the weeks that followed, right up until it was time to bring our kitten home. We received updates and pictures of our kittens growth. The whole experience was wonderful! We found Patty and John on their website in May of 2017, we filled out an application and Patty called within the hour. We felt like instant friends. Patty had a littler of kittens that were just a few weeks old and invited us up for a visit. It was love at first sight for the kittens, the cattery, and Patty and John. We picked out 2 kittens that were available, but not yet ready to come home, and were invited to come visit as often as we wanted (this is the perks of adopting before the Nacoonzi family got so big) we visited twice more before we could bring Gatsby and Zelda home. We just acquired a kitten from Maine Coon. The process was beautifully managed by Patty and John. They are totally dedicated to the health and wellbeing of all their (many!) cats and kittens. And they are equally dedicated to ensuring that your kitten is in the best possible shape it could be when you pick it up. Kittens are spayed or neutered, dewormed, have had any needed shots, etc, etc. by the time one collects them. The environment at the cattery is totally cat friendly: the cats are free to roam in large enclosed spaces and on occasion, the rest of the house. John is building a "cat run" also. Patty was incredibly responsive and conscientious during the time between selecting a kitten and actually collecting him. Our kitten is full of beans and of course, now terrorizing the house :) If you are interested in a Maine Coon cat and you can get to Patty and John's place, this is the place to go. I've gotten Five Main Coons from this Breeder. All are absolutely stunning. They take special care to ensure that all kittens are the healthiest and well socialized they can be. Follow up after sale by them is outstanding. Unlike other breeders, is outstanding. They care about each and every adopted kitten and new owner greatly. I know for a fact that they have paid for vet care or even a replacement in the event a kitten goes ill. No other breeders do this. Again they care deeply about their kittens. I know someone else has posted a review to bring them down. What this person has said is untrue. The owners went over the top to help this person out. They put out thousands of dollars to help improve their life. This is not enough for some individuals who repeatedly go through psychotic behavior and lash out at the hand that feeds them. I have known Patty and John since they started breeding Maine Coons. They are wonderful people who truly care. They care for EVERY cat or kitten that comes in and out of their cattery. They are available at all times of the day and night for questions or concerns. I have a pure bred that came straight from Czech Republic and he has papers. These are reputable breeders, and they get all of their queens and studs from reputable breeders. Most of them come from Europe. These are Maine Coons with strong bloodlines. Patty and John do every test imaginable to make sure people go home with a healthy kitten. Of course some things are out of their control, like with anything. Animals do get sick sometimes, and nothing can prevent that. That is part of life. They try VERY hard and I appreciate them for that.
