I've received gifts of their soap and loved it. I was in town just prior to Christmas and stopped by. I purchased some lip balm to give as stocking stuffers and kept one for myself. This is excellent stuff, smooth, nicely scented, natural ingredients with a diverse selection of scents/flavors from fruits, spices and coffee. The proprietors are delightful. Old school charming with that tint of 60's hippies and a deep knowledge of soaps, salves and herbs. There store is a bit out of the way, but worth finding. Thank you. I'LL BE BACK. read more

So I can't lie I really do like their soaps! They have amazing scents and specialty soaps you just can't find anywhere else. A bonus is the scent does stay with you most of the day which is amazing! I have one real complaint about the store: I can't figure out how they price their bars. It's not by weight, I determined, and since the bars vary so much in size and shape I surely hope they don't charge the same price per varied size bar.. but it seems they do. I literally saw the guy at the register cut a huge chunk off a bar, offer the smaller piece to us as a free 'sample' but then he PUT BACK the remaining left over soap ON THE COUNTER TO BE SOLD! Wtf? Yeesh. Another issue is although I do love the soaps they are a bit pricey for how little they last. I've almost gone through a whole massive bar in less than 2 weeks and it's not like I'm constantly showing or something odd. We spent around 60 dollars for 8 bars. I know that isn't ridiculously priced but it isn't cheap either and I really was hoping these soaps would last me at least 4 months.. but it looks like that won't be the case. We'll see! Final Verdict: Since I really do love their soaps, scents, and how they make my skin feel - I'll definitely be buying more from them. I just hope, though, that very soon they figure out a weighing system of some sort that allows them to price there bars by type accordingly so we don't feel like we're getting swindled! read more

I have been to this shop twice now. I can honestly say after the first time I was brought to this gold mine I was skeptical because I have sensitive skin and I know the sticky residue soap feel I did not want to experience. Let me tell you, I bought about 4 bars the first time and they last over a month a bar! I am a girl on a budget and with about $6 a bar I think the price is completely worth it First of all you are buying handmade organic soap...there is going to be a price difference compared to less quality cheaper soap. You get what you pay for. And I shower EVERYDAY and they still last me a long time. The soap always makes your skin feel so good and I have had nothing but compliments on the softness. There is NO sticky residue feeling after you are out of the shower which I love. They smell so amazing, I just can't get enough...which brings me to my second trip where I ended up buying almost 10 of them! They also make lip balms. I have experienced lemonmint and cotton candy. They make you lips softer and smell more delicious than any other big brand can. Trust me, I have a small addiction to lip balm. Baby Lips just can't compete. My favorite part about this shop is that the owners are always super nice and friendly. The shop itself smells heavenly and there are so many to choose from its almost overwhelming to a beginner. They said they would ship soaps to me if I ever move, and usually always give you a sampler if you're new. There is also a punch card program where you get a soap free after so many purchases. I highly recommend this soap shop hands down the best place for great organic amazing smelling soap! read more

I couldn't be happier with the products or the service. Both are outstanding! The products are handmade with more variety of scents than I can describe. I had mentioned I was getting the soaps for baby shower gifts and she went out of her way to accommodate the occasion. She made me personalized labels for all the bars of soap and individually bagged them all for no charge. On my way out she even gave my daughter and I free travel bars so we could start using the product right away. I will definitely be back and will refer all my friends and family. I always end up spending too much money here because the soap is so good and always need "just one more bar while I'm here..." But that's okay. As long as you use the soap after the "use after date" it lasts quite a while, making it well worth the money. And they have soap for everyone. I visited the shop for the first time a couple weeks ago. The woman in the store seemed quite pleasant as she helped others. The man in the store ignored me for quite some time. I finally asked him for assistance but he did not seem too interested in helping me and he kept leaving me to help others. Even in the middle of writing up my sale, he left me standing at the counter to help others. I spent a substantial amount of money, despite the poor service I received. I won't be returning. Amazing local made soaps - I'm not even sure how many scents but probably over 100 to choose from. Kind of like the homemade soap booth at your farmers market magnified tremendously.
