I try to know exactly what i need before heading in or else i come out with 200$ of stuff i didn't need. I went in last week because a girlfriend told me about their Kombucha deal. They offer 4 different flavors that they change out ever so often, i got a growler for 20.00$ with kombucha in it, you can bring the growler back in for a refill for 12$! What a steal. And they let you try our all the flavors before hand. I went with the strawberry one which is so good and so cheap compared to buying individual kombuchas from the store which are usually 3.99$ for one. They last about 3-4 days in the fridge and on day 4 still had great flavor! Can't wait to go back in for my refill. The only downside was the employee who i asked about the Kombucha was next to useless and couldn't tell me anything about it.

The second time i came a different gentleman assisted me and I explained to him about a pill i took for assisting with my workouts and i explained the bad reaction i had to this. I wanted to try a different one and i was looking at two sets. One was cheaper and one was like over $100 (really steep but I was told it worked) well this worker explained in details the two, showing me how well he knew his stuff, then he told me since my reaction he didn't feel comfortable with me trying the $100 one due to the stimulants in it. And he suggested the cheaper one (which has been effective and has had no reaction) but my point is he didn't care about making the store more money he cared about me as a customer and my needs. I will be back not only cause they are they only ones that have this product but i love the customer service. They are always there to help, even if they are talking to someone they acknowledge you walking in and greet you. I really did like everything.

The shop is less of a vitamin shop and more of a healthy living spot. The selection appears to extend well beyond supplements. I went here to refill on my daily supplement. The employee directed me towards the particular spot in the store, where only one brand was available. She appeared knowledgeable about the brand and manufacturing process. However, when I inquired further about the manufacturing standards and verifications, she was unable to answer. I only purchase supplements that have been verified for nutritional content, absorption, and safe manufacturing practices. There are two major laboratories that conduct independent testing. I inquired about both of these labs by name to the employee, but she was unaware of any verification labs that existed or that the supplements underwent testing. I am well aware that the FDA has little to no regulatory power over supplements, but independent testing is available for any brand to confirm that their product is genuine. Bottom line, the supplement line carried by Family Health has not been independently tested. I would not recommend purchasing from them. On the other hand, Family Health offers a wide array of health services and seminars for the new age medicine enthusiast. If you are into herbal remedies and non-traditional medicine, Family Health is right for you. If you just need some vitamins or supplements, find someplace else.
