Salad ready I decided to give Organic Krush a try and it was a miss. Located at an upscale shopping area next to Lululemon I had high hopes, the decor is beautiful and restaurant impeccably clean. I ordered the Success Salad and small (16 oz) bone broth. The cashier mistakenly wrong me up for the larger 32oz size a difference of +$4.50 and I corrected the order (you can see what's been inputted) for the cashier to tell me no there's only one size and one price. I referred to the menu that states two different sizes and therefore two different prices, unfortunately she didn't agree with the menu nor did she want to ask for assistance. She then proceeds to push a few more buttons saying she had it fixed/figured it out and hit total before I could read the order. I could tell by the price that it had not been fixed and another employee that happen to be walking by assisted her into rectifying the order. For the intentional lack of response to take an order properly and over charge patrons I give the employee interaction 1 star. It took 32 minutes to get my salad and bone broth. This is 1145am on a Monday with 3 customers in sight. 32 minutes is a long time to wait for raw food. The food arrives and the salad is fine but you can build the same thing at Whole Foods cheaper and faster. The bone broth is delivered luke warm and is nothing special- at all. It's amongst the least tasty bone broth I've ever had. Recommend a kiosk or two at the front of the store to limit employee confusion on orders and work on faster prep for raw- no cooking required- meal delivery under 30 minutes. The salads are over priced for what you get, I stopped for some fries about an hour after lunch to satisfy my tummy. read more

I get my hair cut next to Organic Krush. I wandered in one day before a cut and ordered the açaí bowl and tea. It was yummy so the next time I was in the area, I went in again and ordered an amazing quinoa bowl. The food is fresh, made to order and delicious. Add to this that it is healthy and you have the best restaurant combo. The staff are friendly and atmosphere is light and comfortable. Whenever I am in the area, I always stop in and try something new. It is a bit on the pricey side, but well worth it. read more

They were very rude in the beginning then got semi-nicer whenever we checked our food out. Right after that was where the cashier started treating us nicer. Only becuase they charged us way wrongly - but a lot. So, we feel ripped off. I didn't even know what Star to give because I am so shocked by their lack of virtue and honesty. Shouldn't the word "organic" in their BRAND also be synoumous for purity, down-to-earth, truthfulness, no fakes, no fascades? * * For the food, it was okay. Nothing special. I stopped by at Organic Krush after a day hike in Charlottesville and so glad I did! I tried the avocado toast which came with pico de gallo. It was appetizing and hit the spot!! It's nice to have healthy vegan options and I wanted to check this spot out. The juices were much smaller than are pictured in the photos for this place. The bottles are strange to drink from and I don't feel like stack up well against the competitive juice market. They also didn't have as many options as I usually expect from a juice shop. The protein bites are fantastic. My tofu bowl was fine. It's beautifully photographed on the website abs the actual item is super lack luster, a little bland, and the veggies to rice ratio makes me question the price tag. Overall it's decent but I probably wouldn't go out of my way. read more

The portion is small, eventhough the quality is good. the service is really sweet and great the place usually gets busy during rush hours and it has a cute ambiance but and the orders get really delayed, i had to wait 25 minutes for a classic salad on the menu. overall wouldn't go again also they did not have avocados so they replaced it with a tiny amount of broccoli that came after i had already finished my plate do better. if youre taking people's money might ask well serve them right read more

Organic Krush is really the only place in cville with good açaí bowls. However, the price for what you get 90% of the time is outrageous. Both of the bowls pictured here were $12.80 with tax. The 2nd picture has an actual full açaí bowl which has only ever happened to me once and I felt that was the amount I should always get for the price. The 1st picture is the norm. The açaí portion doesn't even half fill the container. It's unfortunate because I really love the taste of the bowls, but it's just so little açaí for what I'm paying that I think I'll stop coming. read more

Okay I just want to do a shoutout to the SERVICE here, specifically Sharaida. She was incredibly sweet, attentive, and never made us feel rushed. It is so rare to find employees that help you feel right at home, especially in the food industry. Thank you for your patience and warmth (both my friend and I noticed), and making sure everything was correct on our orders. We both agree more people like you are needed in the world. She even came over to speak with us tell us we were beautiful , and encourage us. The employees all take the time to address people personally by name (we were also there at a slower time of day) On terms of the food, I LOVE how many gluten free and vegan options there are- that is rare to find. They have free samples of juice or bakery items and little snacks. The egg wrap I had was delicious- everything tasted fresh and the GF option was better than the normal GF tortilla I've had elsewhere. Prices are definitely on the higher end, but you can tell they take care in what they do. Maybe not an everyday place if you get an entree every time, but they have lots of options. The ambience is more modern and clean, but not sterile-feeling. The bathrooms had pictures with little inspirational positive messages- just very sweet. Again, I cannot emphasize the service enough. my partner and i stopped into organic crush to grab a bite to eat while we passed the time waiting for sephora and lululemon (next door) to open. it was about 11:30. the ordering system was clear and the menu full of delicious sounding options! there were also many wonderful sounding seasonal specials. the space was unbelievably clean - even as a clean freak and perfectionist myself, i was impressed. we got up to the register and ordered our food: i got the breakfast wrap (done gluten free! yay!) and my partner ordered a custom wrap. we grabbed two liquid death canned waters (very tasty water). it was $43 total. we found a table in the comfortable and cozy space and our food came out quickly within ten or so minutes, even as the lunch rush picked up. the service was so welcoming and friendly, which i was glad for after having seen unfavorable reviews about the service on yelp. while the kind lady at the register wasn't very tech savvy, she made sure she got everything right and was very amenable in adjusting things to our dietary needs. as someone with severe food allergies, this meant a lot to me! the food was beautifully prepared and DELICIOUS. the hot sauce was a wonderful addition to my breakfast burrito. i also liked that they had a sign offering a discount on two classes at solid core across the street. i'll have to try it out, per their recommendation! i can't wait to come back and look forward to bringing my friends and family here for a special treat. read more

Finally a yummy grab and go spot in Albemarle that isn't greasy fast food. I've been a few times and I really love the coconut shrimp bowl and the Korean BBQ bowl. I often swing by for a protein bar which is also housemade and delicious. There are some complaints about prices, but the bowls are huge and I get two servings out of each portion.
