I gave the eyebrow artist an inspiration picture for shape and she was able to get close to it even though my eyebrows are sparse. The best thing about this eyebrow threading business was that they were very gentle. As someone who has sensitive skin, it was a refreshing experience to not have my skin get blotchy after my session. Another great threading joint in the South Bay! Judy does a great job of cleaning and shaping my eyebrows with great precision and no pain. One of my favorite aspects of 5 Star Threading is that on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, eyebrow threading is only $5. All other days are $6.99. The shop is located in a very small plaza, but there's usually parking available, street parking is always plentiful as well. Restrooms are clean. The waiting area is stocked with recent contemporary magazines. Within the past few months, 5 Star Threading now has a hair station to get your hair did. LOVE LOVE LOVE this place! It's my go-to for my eyebrows. I'm not sure what her name is, but I'm positive she's the owner of 5 Star Threading. She always does my eyebrows PERFECTLY. They always come out with the perfect shape and thickness. Never any mistakes and the price is the best (she does charge a dollar extra for cards, so bring cash if you want to avoid that extra charge). The lady was super quick but did the job well. It was only $5. Read somewhere it was $5 on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. They should have a sign because that would definitely get me to come in. My favorite part after her getting rid of my caterpillars was the fact that she gently massaged my eyebrows with a tissue and gel. This lady refuses to clean my eyelid even after I have shown her some hair. She says, "it can cut your skin." Fine. Then I showed her other areas that have hair. She replied " oh I didn't see it." She also said, " I'll try to do it. But if I don't get it it's not my problem." I then told her that it's not acceptable to provide this type of service. That I will also be doing in review here at Yelp. She replied it doesn't matter to me. Do not go to this place at any cost. It'll be a waste of your time. This review is long overdue. I've been coming here for approaching a couple years for eyebrow and lip threading (also full face once). The owner is an eyebrow master and she is so reasonably priced (too reasonable). My eyebrows are not symmetrical so very difficult for me to do myself. I've paid a lot for eyebrows in the past but my brows look the best they've ever looked since coming here! I highly recommend. read more
