When I first started sugar waxing at Sugar Cove (formerly Bronzed Sugar) I met a gal named Kara. Kara is kind, very knowledgeable about sugar waxing, understanding (because I always forget to exfoliate), and the only "Sugar Mama" that didn't pull my hair as she was putting the sugar on my skin! Once I found her, I stuck with her until she went on maternity leave - once I found out she wasn't coming back and she opened her own shop, I can honestly say I'm never going back to Sugar Cove. Sugar Stripped is located inside the Phenix Salon Suites - go inside, hook a right, go a little down the hall until you see a door on your left, go through it and she's the first door to your right. Kara's room is perfect for two people, but if you did have a third person who wanted to watch, or had a child with you, they could comfortably sit on her cozy bench with a elbow room. As far as parking goes, there's plenty in the surrounding area as it shares the lot with Smart and Final. I got Brazilian sugared, and I have to admit I'm not always on top of sugaring so my hairs are always long when I do go back, but Kara does this thing where she'll tell you to inhale then exhale as she pulls - then immediately puts pressure on the area - which I appreciate because it makes a difference in the amount of pain I feel. Another pain reliever are the conversations we have with each other, which you would think all waxers do, but I've been to one where the girl barely talked to me (and I never went back!). Ive tried others but I always ended up with ingrown hairs or they weren't as thorough.
