We have been using another highly rated cleaning service for the past year who did a solid job, but Forget Me Not Cleaning did a significantly more thorough job - to the point I honestly don't think a stranger would even know we have a dog. Our dog was less pleased and immediately started shedding her fur everywhere to make the house smell like dog again - which is why we asked Forget Me Not Cleaning to become our regular cleaner. So, they came in and after 11 hours of cleaning - so SLOW - we, me and our daughter were moving items out, furniture running things to donation places while they were working, but so slow. we kept wondering when this would be done!? We left around 4:30. After working ourselves for like 8 hours. We got a message at 9:00 PM the workers are done. It was a team of 2. You're bill is $850? WHAT! Oh heck no! 11 Hours!? We have pics proving crap work, I mean stainless refrigerator and dishwasher was nasty after the cleaning! (Attached) they don't know what stainless steel cleaner is!? Really?! This Co. Says $75/hr oh but then you don't know there's a 4.5% surcharge for using a debit or credit card. Oh and he wants payment in 24 Hrs ... no checks. Avoid this business at all costs! He gouges and is ready, willing and WILL RIP YOU OFF! If you don't pay in 24 hrs, he charges $25/day! Late fee. He makes this up as he goes. None of these policies were provided up front. He is desperate. We were having the carpets replaced next day and explicitly said DO NOT DO ANY CARPET CLEANING! We are replacing it tomorrow. They cleaned carpets ... why? I guess to milk hours! They vacuumed the carpet Cheats! By the way, we paid cash and had to negotiate waiving the 4.5 % service fee off much to his dismay. He made it very difficult. And this review mainly falls upon the poor customer service after I received no expression of regret, no apology, no indifference, even after I explained the inconvenience they had caused me, as the girl returned to her chit chatting and small talk with her coworker with zero concern. The wardrobe we broke our backs loaded up, sells between $3,000-8,000 on first dibs, the same antique French radio cabinet is listed on Cherish for $1,650, the antique barrister cabinets (5 shelves) typically sell between $1,000-$5,000 and the same exact antique Victorian plated door knobs (set of 6) sells for $150-$300 EACH online. We loaded up several boxes full of power tools and hand tools, a work bench, a sleigh bed from Kathy Kuo, an antique wood trunk, several light fixtures and other pieces from West Elm and Rejuvenation, in like new condition, a leather loveseat, a rocker with ottoman, a few boxes of unused tiles, a decent sizes marble slab, sink, and other misc items and supplies I felt were beneficial to this store and it's cause. First rain showed a couple of spots no silicon or sealed corners at down spouts with leaks. Day after job completed. Initially, when we were discussing the job We requested the possibility of yanking off Christmas lights on Faccia boards and simply tossing on ground below since they were there. They stated there would be a nail removal and upcharge fee added to estimate for this request. I spoke to the manager of the company after his guys "finished job and left with a ridiculous final configuration of downspouts which posed a tripping hazard for young children and an eyesore and "who did this job?" I would advise future prospective clients ask for referrals to their past customers to see their finished work and have a chat with folks that have contracted them to perform work. If. I were to include pictures. You too would see that this gutter downspout is NOT under deck. It passes for 10 or 15 feet away from house at knee to shin height cutting off all access to under deck and all who look at it. Will go wow what's up with that?
